I agree. Self-custody isn't easy—and it never was. During the California Gold Rush, the people who mined gold had to protect it themselves. Carrying it, hiding it, and securing it were simply part of owning it. Bitcoin is no different. The responsibility of self-custody is the price of true ownership.
