While learning Unreal Engine 5, I decided to port over most of Hyperion to it to see if I could potentially move my workflows over to UE5. Although it worked decently well, it didn't work well enough to allow me to change over entirely. Hyperion is simply too complex of an asset for real-time workflows (or at least is limited due to my knowledge of said workflows). 131 4K-8K UDIMs at over 8 channels and a solid amount of shaders with layering being the biggest bottleneck. I couldn't even match the shading setup to what I have in RenderMan, UE gave me a warning that the material was too complex. I was using the new Substrate materials, which mimic RenderMan LAMA shaders. The render below is using the pathtracer. As you can see there are some random flickering parts which I couldn't fix during my tests. This render of course doesn't have any displacement either (which Hyperion heavily relies on). I think Unreal Engine has a very bright future, but it is still limited by todays hardware technology for high end VFX work. Maybe in a few years I will give it another try when hardware improves and the engine becomes a bit more versatile in feature-set.

So, by now I'm sure you saw the AI fanart recreation of the Princess Mononoke trailer. It got a LOT of feedback, mostly from people telling the creator what a terrible thing he did and how AI assisted workflows can never be used for anything good or meaningful and most of all that it can never be used for art. That's such nonsense. Of course it can. If it's wielded by artists and great storytellers, great things will come of it. If you hand a violin to someone on the street they'll be able to make it make sounds.. if you hand it to a talented musician it becomes a conveyer of thoughts, emotion and art. Here's a small scene from Mononoke that I did an AI take on.. it's far from perfect and to animate this properly would require much more work. The AI workflows we have today are lacking so many control elements. But to think those things won't come.. come on. Of course they will. But most importantly, in a way where they don't overtake the art completely, but instead acts like an "amplifier" of the artists using the tools. This technology will be in most of our creative tools in the very near future with full controllability. Oh and I never liked the idea of turning old disney classics into live-action films, or doing the same with the beautiful work of Studio Ghibli. But for the purpose of this post I hope you'll forgive me ;-) #art #animation

The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. But again, I understand the leaps of faith needed, but if there is a space that is based on that, it's the NFT space...so there is hope. We will see. 📺by Boldtron

Real Club Valderrama hosted its first event on the LIV Golf League in 2023 and has been a staple on the schedule since. The GM, Javier Reviriego, says they are very happy with their partnership and they will be looking to renew their contract when it’s up next season. Speaking to Flushing It Golf, Javier said: “We're very happy. I mean, for us, the event has been great, giving us a lot of visibility. “The best thing is to have these great players here. I mean, these players, we would have never dreamed of having them here in a DP World Tour event. That's a fact. “And we couldn't dream of bringing a PGA Tour event to Spain because I don't think that was ever going to happen either. So, we wanted this quality of players, and there was no choice, really.” LIV Golf Andalucía is just 5 weeks away and the build out is currently going up all over the course, with a huge hospitality area on the bank behind the 17th green striking an imposing presence. Advertising boards promoting the event greet arrivals at Gibraltar Airport and they are in the process of thickening the rough to make the course as challenging as ever. Javier says he has spoken to league executives who assure him it’s business as usual and Valderrama are even considering some renovations to the golf course to help improve the venue for future years. Their contract with LIV Golf ends after the 2027 season, and Javier says they are looking to renew and would be “happy to continue the relationship.” The LIV Golf League returns to Valderrama on June 4th as Talor Gooch aims to defend and win the title for the 3rd time in 4 seasons. LAWSUIT UPDATE 🚨 Day 290 of being under unlawful police investigation after SEGA colluded with City of London Police to raid my home and steal my consoles after SEGA screwed up their clearance process. A human rights lawsuit alleging violations of Articles 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 13 & 14 by SEGA /Fusion85/ City of London Police was filed in March. As of today all three defendants are in default, having not filed a valid acknowledgment of service. Once again, all parties have displayed complete disregard for lawful process in not taking a High Court Human Rights lawsuit seriously. Sega attempted to engage, using a big law firm to try and scare me in to submission by arguing my claim was “totally without merit”, claiming all their fees from me, and filing a witness statement from Daniel Finegold that confirms Lindsay Cox was responsible for the clearance. The same Lindsay who recognised me when I attempted to serve the lawsuit on SEGA in person, video attached. The full extent of that witness statement will be revealed in due course, it tells us A LOT ☕️ The police tried to send an email to the court asking for the claim to be thrown out. I’m at a loss for words with how utterly incompetent civil servants are. This has now backfired catastrophically for City of London Police the full extent of which will be revealed soon ☕️ Fusion85 have remained entirely silent, a default judgement against them will likely follow in due course. A further lawsuit against individual officers will soon be served, alleging amongst others, material non disclosure in the warrant application process. I offered a ceasefire and the opportunity to resolve this situation almost 3 weeks ago, once again it fell on deaf ears, so i’m forced back in to the public to seek justice and accountability for how I have been treated. Apparently City of London Police have made a criminal referral in anticipation of a not guilty plea from myself. No idea what crime i’ve allegedly committed by buying office clearance remnants from a charity sub contractor in good faith. Our friend, The Rascal , was so pleased when that beloved big horn sheep decided to take a short leave from Brownells, Inc. in Iowa and come have some porch time here in Appalachia! They got to jawin', of course, as big horn sheep and rascally raccoons are want to do, and began waxing about how much fun the old standbys can be. there are a few things i am laser focused on for 2026 and beyond. here is a brief summary for you, should you be interested in reading more. #1. The Starry Nights; - a 1/1/X series i am curating/creating which is a themed series and follow up to my edition work "la nuit étoilée". For this series, we will be offering exquisite print options with a custom and beautiful Muse Facktory unboxing experience. These will be our debut Muse Facktory prints open to the public and the moment we plant our flag as a true contender in the high caliber Fine Art world of prints. For the digital only collectors, the ultra high resolution artworks will stand on their own within your wallet, waiting for the day we have the means to exhibit our digital art properly and at scale. Each work is 12k pixels, for which we are building a custom viewport for them to be experienced properly, even on mobile. Printing, however, is something I truly enjoy, and the ChromaSculpt technique captures my layering process precisely and beautifully. Offering both is a must for this series, especially since all new works will be still jpgs. The exact quantity will be determined once i feel the series is complete, but not to exceed 1/1/111. It will be a ranked auction with settlement. This is all i can say for now. #2. curation of the servants of the Muse; As you know, i have the “servants of the Muse” collection of 69. When i began this series as a thank you token for 1/1 holders, i created as ERC721 for a reason. To one day bring about the 69 servants of the Muse, all in their true forms. 69 true 1 of 1s. DoomScroller, for example, is but one of the 69. There will be no 2 alike. All will be animated. All will serve at Her pleasure. These will of course only be available to 'servants of the Muse', who will have to pay a toll in order to reveal their servant. Toll price currently undetermined but i am no extractor so it will be reasonable. Some of these beasts and creatures and machines will be ungodly, some will be just, many will be grotesque, but all will serve. #3. Today, I travelled for over 3 hours to Agona Odoben in the Central Region to meet 5-year-old twins, Robert and Roberta. They have been abandoned by both parents and live with their grandmother, who is doing her best but simply does not have the means. They are currently not in school because of this, and even basic things like food and clothing are a struggle. I got to know about them through my friend Kelvin, and I just knew I had to show up for them. So today, we went to see them and began the process of enrolling them in school. We have made arrangements for their uniforms and learning materials to enable them to start school this month. It really does take one moment, and people choosing to care, to change the entire course of a child’s life for good. Robert and Roberta deserve a chance at a better future, and we are going to do everything we can to make sure they get it. ❤️

Usually I don’t speak on political issues often however Charlie Kirk’s death (RIP) hits a little too close to home. Perhaps it is because anyone who has some resemblance of a following who is outspoken against any narrative online has probably received some sort of threat in their inbox. (I know I have) It is baffling to me that one could harbour such a large amount of hate inside of them to want to have another silenced for having differing opinions than their own. I think about all my outspoken friends who are in positions faced to the public and of course myself and what this potentially means for all of us. This of course, would never stop me from speaking out to what’s right, so perhaps that is also why I wanted to make a comment. To me it is disgusting behaviour to mock/be happy about the death of people you disagree with that have done nothing wrong. I think about all my friends, family who could be wrongfully persecuted based off the delusions of perceived “sides”. The amount of hate manufactured and projected onto you for just living your life and not complying to a certain ideal is insane. I don’t like fear mongering but I also think it’s important to stay vigilant to what’s going on around you. It is a very real reality that there are people out there that hate you just for simply being you and what you represent to them. We’ve seen evidence of this twice this week and I suspect more to come unfortunately. I am always hopeful so I will leave this message on a positive note, that just as much hate has also been met with just as much love. There are many amazing kind hearted people out there standing up for what’s right and building community, coming together. Even if they are moving in silence behind the scenes or in front stage, I see you and I honour your work.

Today our Pi main screen changed to the following which we can see there will be another Hackathon! I believe this is a great work and deployment from CT! And Hackathon should be continuing to expand to apps which can connect to all industries widely in the world. I can see some Pioneers disappointed. Because these pioneers don't pay attention to Pi Network vision and mission and not understanding white paper well. They just want to get a car, property and cash ASAP. This is a short-sight. The eco system is Pi Network blood. This is critical. I used an example to make pioneers understand well what the relationship pioneers and CT is and what our pioneers task is. CT and pioneers are like a man's two feet. CT is on the right foot and pioneers are on the left foot. CT is like 💡, pioneers is like ⚡. We need to walk together to move. And if you want a light bulb, you need to have stable electricity and this stable electricity is like GCV. So when CT advanced to the Hackathon eco hardware system, pioneers should work on a software system which includes GCV, passion, attention and influence of Pi Network. When pioneers are ready with the above, ecosystem development will be super fast and easy. It will automatically go to open the mainnet! During the time CT and developers will keep on working on ecosystem hardware to develop more good platforms! So all pioneers should focus on self improvement! Of course if some Pioneers don't have trust in Pi Network, we all respect your decision 🙏 However this is yourself losses 🙏🙏🙏 All best wishes to pioneers all community!
