I gave Happy Horse from Alibaba a spin to make this cinematic trailer. Grab my Magnific Spaces workflow in the comments below. A few things I noticed after a few days of testing: - Reference images work like they do in Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0. Drop in characters, locations, objects, and you can build much more dynamic shots than start/end frames allow. - Audio is clean. English dialogue comes out clear. If you don't want a soundtrack, a simple "no music" in the prompt gives you SFX only. - 1080p looks great but tends toward sharp edges. I usually generate at 720p and upscale with Magnific Video Upscaler. - Got surprisingly far with simple prompts. - Happy Horse is around 75% of the price of Seedance 2 at 1080p. Fun trivia: "Ma" means horse in Chinese, which also happens to be Jack Ma's last name. Make of that what you will. Props to the team at Alibaba Cloud team!

People with high conscientiousness tend to get better grades in school and earn more money—even when you control for IQ. So if you have two people with the same score on an intelligence test, the person with higher conscientiousness will likely go on to get better grades and have higher earnings. I’ve always been a huge anime fan, especially Chainsaw Man. So I wanted to push my limits a bit and try creating a live-action version of Denji vs. Katana Man. Since anime fight scenes are known for their insane speed and intensity, translating that energy into live action became a challenge I genuinely enjoyed. This whole sequence was built using an image-to-video workflow with MiniMax Design (H3) 02 and Kling AI 2.5 Turbo, with the base images from Nano Banana Pro on Freepik (now Magnific) . Edited in CapCut Pro and upscaled with Topaz Labs for that final punch. Such a wild experiment, but honestly super fun to make. What do you think about the result?

Seedance 2.5 Test 480p - 720p I created a fight scene in a Chinese donghua style. For my prompt tests, I usually generate 5-second clips at 480p just to see how the style and overall look turn out. Interestingly, action scenes look cleaner at 480p. At 720p, they become noticeably blurrier or noisier, even though both were generated with the exact same prompt. The timing also seems much more consistent across generations now. Seedance 2.0 wasn't following timestamps reliably, so I rarely used them back then. With 2.5, I have started using timestamps again. I upscaled the 480p with Topaz. What do you think? Also you can check the prompt below.

Here's a look behind the scenes of how I used a 3d model, generated from an image, as a "driver" for ai animation. In the near future we'll see more 3d tools that support these types of workflows, with much more emphasis on enhancing user input instead of just letting the ai do everything. I used the 3d model to generate keyframes that I then animated in Luma Dream. By using a 3d model with a diffusion "layer" done with Krea, I got quite high quality frames with a relatively high consistency as well since the AI didn't have to "hallucinate" that much. I upscaled and detailed the frames using Magnific. Using semi-detailed 3d models as drivers for gen ai is very powerful, and it allows us to use models that are sculpted in a more free-flowing type of workflow that doesn't rely so much on high surface detailing or very time-consuming finish, but instead relies more on gestural 3d sculpting. #art #ai

You would be surprised how many times I’ve had this conversation 🤦🏻‍♂️ Not all AAU programs are equal. There are some good ones out there for sure. I benefited as a player by playing for a club. But then… There are some bad ones. And with the bad ones comes a lot of wasted time, money and effort. Empty promises when it comes to development and exposure to college coaches. Some kids on these teams can’t make 10 free throws in a row or dribble with their weak hand but we have them playing 80 games a summer expecting it to magically improve. Then they go back to their HS Coaches as the same player they were the year before but expecting different results. Now kids should make more time for their own skill work as well but some of these programs require 4-8 hours a week at their “practices” plus travel and games every weekend…. Have you seen some of these AAU practices? Skill development is non existent in a lot of these. But isn’t the point to make the kids better? Just get better every summer and have a great high school season then worry about getting recruited. Some of these kids are on their JV teams expecting to get scholarship offers 🤦🏻‍♂️ There are bad trainers and bad coaches out there as well. I understand that. This is just my perspective and experience with the kids that have been in the gym with me over the last 7 years.

I have a pi-day challenge for all the physics students among you (or anyone willing to set up an experiment). If you share your results with me by March 10th, I may feature them in a video, depending on how good the results are and how many I get. Many years ago I made this video about how two colliding blocks on a frictionless plane can compute pi. My challenge to you is simple: Implement this in practice. The original puzzle assumes zero friction and zero energy loss in collisions, so obviously there are limits to how far you can get. I can tell you the real limiting factor is energy lost in collisions, more so than friction. Also, it's a wildly inefficient way to compute pi, to even get "3.14" you'd need this to work with a 10,000-to-1 mass ratio and have a way to count all 314 collisions. Matt Parker and I actually gave this a go, and the results were...okay, but could definitely have been improved :) Note, there's no reason to restrict yourself to powers of 100. For example, you could use powers of 4 to compute pi in binary. A mass ratio of 64-to-1 should give 25 collisions, which is 11001 in binary, and pi looks like 11.001... More generally, with a mass ratio of N-to-1, the number of collisions is around π / arctan(1 / sqrt(N)). So any big mass ratio gives you an approximation of pi by multiplying the number of collisions by arctan(1/sqrt(N)) If you do this, you can reach out to the channel via this page: Be sure to have a link to footage of the experiment. Anyone else with pre teens at home tired of fining half drunken drinks and water cups all over the house and in the cars? So no more complaining about warm drinks, I got the large quantity cups so they can be happy sipping all day long. Anyone else with pre teens at home tired of fining half drunken drinks and water cups all over the house and in the cars? I am proposing a solution to that, I am buying a bunch of quality insulated cups to replace all of the other ones. So no more complaining about warm drinks, I got the large quantity cups so they can be happy sipping all day long.
