Breaking: **Unrest in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (POJK) ** The outbreak of large-scale protests in Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (POJK) highlights yet again the deep-rooted failures and indifference of the Pakistani establishment. For decades, the region has suffered from discriminatory treatment, economic neglect, and denial of fundamental political rights. Islamabad’s rulers have consistently reduced POJK to the role of a colony—extracting its resources while depriving its people of genuine development, representation, and dignity.

Sad to see Environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk in Leh demanding a plebiscite for Kashmir. Mr. Wangchuk, Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India, will always remain so. Last hurdle of Article 370 was nullified both by Indian Parliament and Supreme Court. Don’t push separatism.

Kashmir (India) vs Kashmir (Pakistan). This is exactly why they hate India. While India is investing, building , and developing Kashmir, their side of Kashmir is left to rot and has become one of the most backward regions in their own country. Wake up, Pakistani people. Look at the contrast and understand what your political leadership has done to you.

Pakistan's oppression of occupied #Kashmir is worsening. As the world's attention is largely fixated on the war between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East, unrest has erupted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in South Asia. Tensions are rising in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) as the Pakistani government has been deploying troops from Punjab Province to suppress the imminent protests in the region due May 11. The protests aim to address the Kashmiri people's economic, social and political problems that Pakistan's government has failed to solve. The United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) and the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have issued warnings to the government of Pakistan against the use of any force against protestors. The warnings have apparently been ignored as Pakistan mobilized its troops to the area, leading to more protests. Historical background info: "In 1947, the Princely State of Jammu and Kashmir became part of the Republic of #India. Shortly thereafter, Pakistani armed forces and Pashtun tribesmen invaded the area, forcing the largest Kashmiri political party to approve the accession. Indian forces were deployed to counter the attacks by Pakistan. In 1948, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 47 requiring all Pakistani military personnel to withdraw from the region before a plebiscite—which would have confirmed the people’s wishes to join India—could be called. Instead of this Pakistan increased its military presence, and no plebiscite was held. In the areas of Kashmir which remained outside of India, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, 41,000 Hindu families were forced to flee from Pashtun tribesmen. "The historic region of Kashmir has a total area of 85,807 sq. miles and is now divided between three countries. Pakistan occupies approximately 30,160 sq. miles, known as (PoK) and the Northern Areas." Clashes between Pakistani troops and Kashmiri locals are expected to further escalate. It is shameful to hear that the Congress party is asking, "Kashmir se kya waasta hai?" I would like to remind the Congress party that J&K is an integral part of India, and every state and citizen has the right over J&K, just as the people of J&K have the right over the rest of India. The Congress doesn’t know that many brave sons of Rajasthan have sacrificed their lives for peace and security in Kashmir. But it is not merely the fault of the Congress leaders. It is mostly the Italian culture of the Congress party that is to blame for not understanding the very idea of India. Such statements hurt every patriotic citizen who cares for the unity and integrity of the nation. People will certainly answer Congress. And for the kind information of the Congress, it was not Article 371, but Article 370, that was abrogated by the Modi government. However, it is only expected of Congress to make such horrendous mistakes. Such blunders made by it have haunted our nation for decades now.

Angus: The issue of Albertans discussing [separation] amongst themselves is not the issue. The issue is destabilization from the outside. We cannot have a proper discussion if it's being destabilized and interfered with by outside players.

India has struck key Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) headquarters deep inside Pakistan and illegally occupied Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). 1.Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur (Punjab, Pakistan) Headquarters of JeM, this facility played a central role in planning terror attacks, including the Pulwama bombing on February 14, 2019. The attackers received training at this camp. 2.Markaz Taiba, Muridke (Sheikhupura, Punjab, Pakistan) Founded in 2000, this is the main training and ideological center of LeT, located in Nangal Sahdan, Muridke. 3.Sarjal / Tehra Kalan Facility (Narowal, Punjab, Pakistan) A primary JeM launch site for infiltrating terrorists into Jammu & Kashmir. Hidden within a Primary Health Center in Tehra Kalan village, it was designed to conceal its true purpose. 4.Mehmoona Joya Facility, Sialkot (Punjab, Pakistan) Operated by Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), this site is near Kotli Bhutta Government Hospital in Head Marala, Sialkot. Supported by Pakistan’s ISI, the facility was covertly established within government premises along the International Border and Line of Control (LoC). 5.Markaz Ahle Hadith, Barnala (Bhimber, PoJK) A strategic LeT facility used for infiltration into the Poonch–Rajouri–Reasi sector. Located on the outskirts of Barnala on Kote Jamel Road, it lies just 500 meters from Barnala town. 6.Markaz Abbas, Kotli (PoJK) A JeM center named after Hazrat Abbas Bin Abdul Mutalib, situated in Mohalla Roli near the Bypass Road in Kotli. It is located approximately 2 km southeast of the Kotli military camp. 7.Maskar Raheel Shahid, Kotli District (PoJK) An old HM camp located 2.5 km from Mahuli Puli on the Mirpur-Kotli Road. Tucked away in the hills and accessible only by a dirt track, it includes barracks, arms storage rooms, offices, and residential quarters for terrorists. 8.Shawai Nallah Camp, Muzaffarabad (PoJK) A key LeT facility used for the recruitment, registration, and training of militants. It has been active since the early 2000s. 9.Markaz Syedna Bilal, Muzaffarabad (PoJK) The main JeM center in PoJK, located opposite the Red Fort in Muzaffarabad. This facility serves as a transit camp for JeM terrorists before their launch into Jammu & Kashmir. At any given time, 50–100 cadres reside in this facility. India has avenged the Pahalgam massacre. #OperationSindoor
