Make no mistake, the Khalistan "referendum" that took place at Calgary City Hall on July 28th was a terrorist convention event. A man wore a t-shirt displaying the logo of the terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa and the abbreviations of various organizations listed as either terrorist or militant by Canada and/or India. These organizations on the shirt included the Khalistan Commando Force (KCF), Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), Bhindranwale Tiger Force (BTF), Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), and most significantly, Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). "A Sikh terrorist entity that aims to establish a fundamentalist independent Sikh state called Khalistan (Land of the Pure) in what is presently the Indian state of Punjab. BKI activities include armed attacks, assassinations, and bombings." -Gov. of Canada Santokh Singh Khela of Sikhs for Justice, previously convicted to life by a Canadian court for plotting to bomb Air India flight 112 from JFK, was given an award at the event by Ajaib Singh Bagri, who was acquitted in the 1985 Air India bombings case and who called for the slaughter of 50,000 Hindus at the World Sikh Organization's founding convention in New York in 1984. The parents of suicide bomber Dilawar Babbar who killed the Premier of Punjab also cast their votes. Ironically, their slogan was to counter India's terrorism with votes. It seems like electing someone like Jyoti Gondek, whose father was a World Sikh Organization executive, makes one's city a welcoming place for terrorist conventions.

Email Akal Takht: SFJ Launches Global Petition to Declare Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra ‘Qaumi Shaheed’ Calls for 1-Million Gathering on September 6 at Akal Takht Sahib to Commemorate the 31st Shaheedi Samagam Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has officially launched a global advocacy campaign and digital petition addressed to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The petition requests the supreme temporal seat of the Sikh Panth to bestow the title of Qaumi Shaheed (National Martyr) upon Khalistan rights defender Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra. SFJ has launched the interactive site to enable Sikhs globally to send this petition email directly to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The campaign issues a call for a large gathering, urging 1 million Sikhs to assemble at Sri Akal Takht Sahib in Amritsar on September 6, 2026. This assembly will mark the 31st anniversary of Bhai Khalra’s martyrdom. The petition describes legislative and military measures implemented by the Indian government between 1983 and 1995 to violently crush pro-Khalistan Sikhs and supporters of the independence movement. To enforce this campaign, Punjab was placed under direct President’s Rule from October 1983 through September 1985, and again from May 11, 1987, to February 25, 1992. The territory was declared a “Disturbed Area” under the Punjab Disturbed Areas Act. Completely separate legal powers were additionally deployed under the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA). This combined framework placed the local administration and police under the direct command of the central Indian government in Delhi. According to the petition, Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra documented the secret mass cremations of thousands of pro-Khalistan Sikhs labeled as “unidentified” by security forces. His research documented more than 2,000 such cremations in the Amritsar district alone. Following his international advocacy, Bhai Khalra was abducted from his home on September 6, 1995, subjected to custodial torture, and extrajudicially killed. SFJ GENERAL COUNSEL GURPATWANT SINGH PANNUN stated “The Indian government systematically turned Punjab into absolute killing fields to violently crush the Khalistan movement. By enforcing continuous President’s Rule, declaring Punjab a ‘Disturbed Area’ under the Punjab Disturbed Areas Act, weaponizing the completely separate Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), and unleashing the lawless powers of TADA, New Delhi orchestrated a calculated policy to exterminate pro-Khalistan freedom fighters, their families, and their supporters. These mass extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances of pro Khalistan Sikhs and the supporters were directly commanded and executed by Indian central forces—including the CRPF, BSF, and specialized out-of-state battalions like the Madhya Pradesh (MP) Police—who operated with absolute legislative immunity under direct federal command of the Indian government. Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra exposed this Indian government brutality to the global community, and he paid for that truth with his life. Today, SFJ calls upon the global Sikh diaspora to defeat India’s narrative. Go to flood the Akal Takht Jathedar’s office with your demand, and assemble 1 million strong in Amritsar on September 6. We will ensure the legacy of our martyrs secures the ultimate goal of Sikh sovereignty and an independent Khalistan.”

"When will the protests ever stop?" I asked Sikhs for Justice affiliate manjinder singh. "[Until] justice is [delivered] and [we] take Khalistan, then [it'll] stop." On the 16th month anniversary of the killing of their Gurdwara president, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in Surrey, BC, Manjinder Singh and his friends gathered in front of the Indian consulate in Vancouver to lynch an effigy of Indian PM Modi, desecrate the Indian and Russian flags, and express their support for Canadian police and Justin Trudeau in their allegations that India is involved in various criminal activities in Canada targeting Khalistanis, like the late Nijjar. Manjinder Singh urges Canadians to stand with their government, arguing that India is Canada’s greatest enemy, while expressing appreciation for the decisions made by Trudeau’s government. Sikhs for Justice, the group Nijjar was a part of, is listed as a terrorist organization by India, and its members have reportedly received 'duty to warn' notices from the RCMP. One of its Ottawa organizers, Santokh Singh Khela, was previously convicted by a Canadian court and sentenced to life in prison for conspiring to blow up Air India flight 110 out of JFK, New York, in 1986, following the 1985 bombings—the deadliest terror attack in Canada's history. Although RCMP and Sikhs for Justice allege that India is behind the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, India denies the allegation, saying that Canada never provided them with proof. 🎙️ Today I watched the podcast featuring Smita Prakash and Trilochan Singh — not once, but twice. And honestly, I was deeply disappointed. Trilochan Singh presented misleading and factually incorrect claims, and surprisingly, Smita Prakash — an educated and respected journalist — didn’t challenge a single one. Here's what troubled me most: 1️⃣ He claimed Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s official language was Urdu. That’s simply false — it was farsi. 2️⃣ He said Punjabi Hindus registered Hindi as their language. While a few did, the majority did not. If his claim were true, cities like Hoshiarpur, Pathankot, and Fazilka wouldn’t even be part of Punjab today. 3️⃣ He alleged that promises of “special treatment” were made to sikhs. No credible record supports this. 4️⃣ He denied Bhindranwale’s involvement in the attack on Nirankaris with Fauja Singh. But Fauja Singh’s own wife called Bhindranwale a coward who fled, leading to her husband’s death. 5️⃣ He claimed Congress didn’t back Bhindranwale. Even if we accept that, who then helped him escape when Bhajan Lal had him cornered in Chandu Kala, Haryana? 🧩 The strangest part? Trilochan Singh hails from Haryana and has been elected from there — yet his sympathies lie entirely with Punjab. He even advocates for Chandigarh to go to Punjab, showing no concern for his own home state. It’s truly unfortunate that someone as sharp as Smita Prakash didn’t push back on these distortions. Silence in the face of misinformation is never neutral.

Don’t let this dangerously subversive, maliciously derogatory and spitefully misleading garbage spouted by Rahul Gandhi to go unchallenged. Which Sikh in India has faced issues on wearing turban or kada over the past decade or in BJP-governed States beginning 1990s? Which Sikh? Only time Sikhs felt threatened and alienated as a community was when Rahul Gandhi’s daddy Rajiv Gandhi stopped all Sikhs from travelling towards Delhi in the run-up to the 1982 Asian Games, labelling all of them potentially a ‘threat’. On Rajiv Gandhi’s instructions Haryana Police and Delhi Police dragged down Sikhs from buses and cars, identifying them by their turban and kada. The next assault on Sikh identity and existence was by Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother Indira Gandhi when she thoughtlessly ordered Operation Blue Star without adequate preparation and understanding of ground situation. She had the Harmandir Sahib complex invaded and the Akal Takht bombed to smithereens, trampling on Sikh religious sentiments. That wound is yet to heal. The third major assault on Sikh community came after Mrs Gandhi’s assassination when roving mobs of Congress goons killed and pillaged, leaving a trail of death and destruction — thousands of Sikhs were massacred, mostly in Delhi. This happened after Rahul Gandhi’s daddy Rajiv Gandhi took charge as Prime Minister. He refused to lift a little finger to stop the bloodletting and would not agree to calling in the Army. Even after the Army came in 72 hours too late, its troops were sent on wild goose chase by the local authorities. Jagdish Tytler, who has just been held guilty of 1984, was a very close associate of Rajiv Gandhi, as were other senior Congress leaders who have been named, for instance Sajjan Kumar. BJP and RSS workers waded into the violence to rescue Sikhs and their families and risked their lives to shift them to safe camps. Manmohan Singh, contesting elections from Delhi, tried to slyly controvert the truth and the people voted with their feet in response. Rahul Gandhi should also remember that it was his daddy who made the grotesque statement ‘When a big tree falls, the ground is bound to shake’, justifying the mass murder of Sikhs. Rahul Gandhi’s host in the US, Sam Pitroda brushed away the horrors committed against Sikhs with his callous “Hua toh hua” comment. It is during PM Modi’s tenure that apart from major initiatives to recognise the immeasurable contribution of Sikh Gurus towards the preservation of India’s civilisational heritage at the national level, discriminatory decisions of the previous Congress regimes were withdrawn. For instance, Sikh workers at airports are now allowed to carry the kirpan. Who stopped them? Rahul Gandhi’s family and party, the Congress. This intentional distortion by Rahul Gandhi, that too on foreign soil, thus strengthening and emboldening anti-India elements abroad, is odious and condemnable. Irrespective of political affiliation, the people of India must protest. Having seen Congress crimes against Sikhs through the 1980s and 1990s, as a student and later as a journalist, I am appalled by his perversity.

EXCLUSIVE: 🔥 “…Indian Government did bombing to SILENCE Sikhs outside…..” Shaheed Parmar CBC Interview — Chris Henry Questions Shaheed Talwinder Singh Parmar on AI 182 Bombing Q: Did you order the bombing of two airplanes? Shaheed Talwinder Singh Parmar: “Such a thought (bombing Air India planes) is not even in my dreams….” Q: Who do you think bombed the airplanes? Who do you suspect was behind the bombings? Shaheed Talwinder Singh Parmar: “It is not only my belief, but the belief of the Sikh community—except those who are bribed or bought off—that the Indian government did this to stop the voices of Sikhs. Since, in India, no Sikh can raise their voice, they wanted to silence Sikh voices outside India as well. They did the bombing….” SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on CSIS Post on the Kanishka Bombing: “CSIS must stop fueling India’s hybrid warfare. When a Canadian intelligence agency repeats the propaganda of India’s Modi regime, currently running death squads inside Canada, it is a catastrophic institutional failure.” By publishing this single-source, historically sanitized post, CSIS is directly peddling a fabricated Indian narrative. This statement actively covers up the deep-state role of the 1985 Rajiv Gandhi government and R&AW Chief Girish Saxena in the Kanishka bombing. India’s state-controlled media is already weaponizing this reckless post globally to vilify pro-Khalistan Sikhs. By echoing New Delhi’s talking points, CSIS is directly endangering the safety and security of peaceful Khalistan Referendum activists worldwide, who are facing an active campaign of Indian transnational terrorism.

You are a liar, Rahul Gandhi. Listen to Bhalinder Singh Virmani, the Sikh, who you picked on, to make that divisive point. Never forget that the only time Sikhs felt threatened and alienated as a community was when your father, Rajiv Gandhi, stopped all Sikhs from travelling towards Delhi in the run-up to the 1982 Asian Games, labelling all of them as potential ‘threat’. On Rajiv Gandhi’s instructions Haryana Police and Delhi Police dragged down Sikhs from buses and cars, identifying them by their turban and kada. The next assault on Sikh identity and existence was by your grandmother, Indira Gandhi, when she thoughtlessly ordered Operation Blue Star, without adequate preparation and understanding of ground situation. She had the Harmandir Sahib invaded and the Akal Takht bombed to smithereens, trampling on Sikh religious sentiments. That wound is yet to heal. The third major assault on Sikh community came after Indira Gandhi’s assassination, when roving mobs of Congress goons killed and pillaged, leaving a trail of death and destruction — thousands of Sikhs were massacred, across India. This happened, after your father Rajiv, took charge as Prime Minister. He did nothing to stop the bloodletting and would not agree to call in the Army. Even after the Army came in 72 hours too late, its troops were sent on wild goose chase by the local authorities. Rajiv Gandhi in fact went on to justify the killings and infamously remarked, “जब बड़ा पेड़ गिरता है, तो धरती तोड़ा हिलती है।”. So, don’t lecture us. Sit down. India knows what you are up to.

Yesterday in Riyadh, Trump gave a nearly 1-hr speech with Gulf rulers and Western billionaires and Zionists in attendance. The main theme of his speech was that allying with the US brings prosperity and unimaginable wealth, while opposing the US will bring only abject poverty and destruction. At one point, Trump noted that the Gulf's success is represented by the building of tall, impressive buildings as well as turning the desert green. Meanwhile, Iran is funding terror and is directly responsible for Oct 7, and as a result, they and their allies are suffering poverty, their buildings are crumbling, and their green land is drying into desert. One cannot help but be reminded of the hadiths: "When will the Hour be established?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents. [...] When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings." [Bukhari] "[Al-Dajjal, the Anti-Christ] will come to the people and call them to his obedience and they will affirm their faith in him and respond to him. He will then give command to the sky and it will send its rain upon the earth and he will then send his command to the earth and it will grow vegetation. Then in the evening their pasturing animals will come to them with their humps very high and their udders full of milk and their flanks stretched. He will then come to another people and invite them, but they will reject him and he will leave them, in barren lands and without any goods and chattels! He would then walk through the waste land and say to it: `Bring forth your treasures', and the treasures will come out and follow him like swarms of bees." [Muslim] As we know, no matter how clear and obvious the signs of the Dajjal may be, some will never recognize what is clear in front of their faces.

1984 Sikh Genocide? Critics Warn the Term Undermines “Real Genocides” Are the extremists who hijacked the Sikh diaspora trying to cover up their terrorism by presenting themselves as victims of a genocide and to facilitate more immigration from Punjab, India, in order to grow their numbers as a voting bloc in North America? "The word genocide has come to have this significance where you want to connect your group to that because it gives you a certain status," explained American academic Dr. Paul Bullen, who has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Chicago. Following the assassination of Indira Gandhi by her own Sikh bodyguards on October 31st, 1984, Dr. Bullen explains that a lot of Sikhs were killed by Hindus, but "it's not clear that the Hindus were trying to wipe out all the Sikhs." The Prime Minister of India was assassinated after launching a military operation against the Golden Temple, the holiest site for Sikhs, which radical extremists had taken control of—turning it into a sanctuary for criminals and murderers as they stockpiled weapons. "THIS IS A GENOCIDE!" According to self-admitted Babbar Khalsa (terrorist entity) member Santokh Singh Khela's version of events, the "genocide" began with the military operation at the Golden Temple in June of 1984, not on the night after the prime minister was assassinated, when official reports say about 3,000 Sikhs were killed—though that number becomes tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands depending on which Khalistani activist you ask. "You think this is not a genocide? This is a genocide!" loudly proclaimed Mr. Khela, as he held his iconic metal axe in his hand. "30,000 people got killed by the government is not a genocide? What kind of human being you are?" he asked me. Mr. Khela was convicted in 1986 and sentenced to life imprisonment after he and his co-conspirator offered cash and heroin to an undercover FBI agent posing as an “explosives expert” in a bugged Montreal hotel room, as part of a plot to bomb an Air India flight departing JFK Airport in New York. His conviction was quietly stayed about seven years later due to a procedural technicality. "Babbar [Khalsa] killed nobody -- each Sikh will revenge who try to kill innocent Sikh, who try to destroy our temple, Gurdwaras, Guru Grant Sahib, our sisters, our kids, whoever put a finger on them, we will be behind them!" Mr. Khela stated, blurring the lines between Babbar Khalsa and the Sikh community. "IT'S UNDERMINING TRUE GENOCIDES" According to a Canadian-born former Sikh, Bob Rai, who left the religion and is risking his life challenging the "hijackers" of what was once a peaceful faith, there are national security concerns arising from the fact that militants have had their children and family members become cabinet ministers, mayors, judges, and police officers in Canada. “In my opinion the World Sikh Organization (WSO) in Canada is propagating the 1984 India fake Sikh genocide narrative in a desperate attempt to deflect US examination of the 1985 Air India bombings that were masterminded by many Sikh extremist terrorists that continue to reside in Canada," he said. "I left the Sikh faith because the WSO and its founding president Gian Singh Sandhu have caused irreparable damage to the sanctity and harmony of the Sikh religion globally. With his deep family connections entrenched in the Justice and Uniparty Government ecosystem — I feel he is a threat to National Security in Canada and the US," expressed Mr. Rai.
