Seeing the hoverboard in *Back to the Future Part II* was a total game-changer! It had us all dreaming of the future and hoping we'd be riding one by now. Still waiting on that, but the nostalgia is real wish they could develop hoverboard like that, more than just a fantasy

As a GenX, this movie will always be one of my favorites. The 80s. What a decade!

Griff – the grandson of Biff – rides a hoverboard named Pit Bull. However, this wasn’t the original name for it. In the first draft of the script, it was called ‘Mad Dog,’ to foreshadow Biff’s Back to the Future Part III ancestor – Mad Dog Tannen.

While the hoverboards in Back to the Future Part II were purely fictional, real-life hoverboards have since been developed. Companies like Lexus and Hendo created prototypes that can float above the ground using magnetic levitation. In the movie, Marty McFly uses video calls to communicate. Today, video calling is a part of everyday life through platforms like Zoom, Skype, and FaceTime.

They had my whole elementary school convinced they were real. Apparently a kid at another school had one.

Thomas F Wilson never gets enough credit for playing the same character (Biff) across multiple generations, and always in slightly different ways. Good actor who never found a career outside of this trilogy. And of course Michael J Fox is superb, both as a comic actor and as a dramatic actor
