We checked into The Jefferson in Washington DC and there was a copy of my book on the table with a note from their Director of Rooms asking me to sign and dedicate it to their collection. I call those God affirmations and I live for them. When you think the hard stuff is keeping you down it is actually God pushing up against you to help you ascend. Fly Into the Wind.

When it brings you down, stay there and get vertical with God. Be real with Him. If you’re angry, say it. If you doubt, say it. If you don’t understand why, scream it. Jesus didn’t come for the polished and put-together. He came for the brokenhearted. Give Him your prayer of agony. Be patient.
