DHAKA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ACKNOWLEDGE SFJ’S SUPPORT BY RAISING “KHALISTAN ZINDABAD” SLOGANS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE PUNJAB INDEPENDENCE REFERENDUM MOVEMENT “MOTHER OF TERRORIST — MODI MODI, INDIA INDIA” ECHOES IN DHAKA Dhaka University students raised “Khalistan Zindabad” slogans while also chanting “Mother of Terrorist — Modi Modi, India India,” acknowledging the support of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) and expressing solidarity with the Punjab Independence Referendum movement. The slogans reflected rejection of what students described as the Modi regime’s transnational repression across South Asia. The chants followed SFJ’s global “LOCKDOWN” of Indian embassies across Five Eyes countries, an action aimed at internationalizing allegations that the Modi regime is attempting to destabilize Bangladesh ahead of the February elections, including through the assassination of student leader Osman Hadi.

SHOCKING: Tezpur University VC publishes fake news, says students physically assaulted him. Video-1: He can be seen running away after he denied to apologise for the insult on Zubeen. Video-2: Students clarify. Denying to close classes, failure to tribute. Students were upset with the stand of the University when the entire state has been mourning. Himanta Biswa Sarma Ranoj Pegu, situation in Tezpur University is very sad and dangerous. A VC resorting to blaming the students for the uproar against his disrespect to Zubeen is shameful.

Today, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray organised a rally in Mumbai to celebrate the students' victory. And just look at the slogans being raised there. The rally was called in the name of the students, but they ended up glorifying themselves instead. As expected, they didn't talk about the students for even a minute. Instead, the rally turned into an event to abuse the government.

The Taliban are reportedly shooting and beating male students who walked out of their exams in Afghanistan today in protest against the ban on women going to university. This is truly barbaric and horrifying. The world must watch, listen and act now.
