Thank you for all the love! 🥹💚 It is only 2 layers (you could also do it with one!) with a good artmesh topology and smooth glue weights you can archive really consistent results ✨ I would recommend learning good 3D topology techniques and look to apply them to Live2D!

Latest clip of the actuator. This is a single layer. It works sort of like a stepper motor, but runs linearly. Next step is to add more layers. But first I have to fix an issue with friction. It’s an easy fix, but will require a new flex PCB order, which will take a week or so.

I've just noticed that Microsoft has added AI image editing options in Windows You can remove any element from an image and the generative AI will fill in. It works natively and for free with the default Photos app:

Wait… why did nobody tell me AI-generated posters could go back into an actual Photoshop workflow? Turns out GPT-6 Astra + Dreamina Seedance 2.5 is an actual pipeline. I generated a poster in Dreamina first, then sent it to GPT-6 Astra. Astra used Photoshop to break the image apart into separate layers, so I could finally adjust the background, typography, and individual elements instead of being stuck with one flat image. For designers, this feels like a missing step between AI generation and professional editing. And because Dreamina keeps the creation cost competitive, I can test multiple poster ideas before deciding which one deserves a full edit. This workflow is kind of a game changer for rapid design exploration. #Dreamina #DreaminaPartner

Part of the reason IT people are being laid off is that many of their abilities can be replaced by AI. In the past, the joke was that you would just google it, but that still required some IT knowledge. Now, you can ask AI how to fix an issue and it will walk you through how to fix most things. (if you have admin permissions to your computer) To be fair, no one knows all the weird nuances and issues that can arise with software so google has always been used to find IT fixes - but it took more research and knowing how to implement the fix before.

Right-click and select Convert to sub-workflow (or Alt + X) 3. Watch magic happen 🪄 🎩 This action will opened a new tab and paste in the selected nodes with their parameters intact!
