Yesterday's rainfall wreaked severe damage on the diversion around a bridge in my hometown of Ahwiam. The road is currently under construction, and a new bridge is being constructed to replace the failing one. The contractor had created a diversion as an interim measure, which was flooded. Last night and this morning, I engaged with the contractor, and this afternoon, remedial work commenced to address the issue. I will continue to work with the contractor and the Roads Ministry to expedite the road's completion. Update on Transmission Pipeline Repairs at Outering Road We wish to inform our customers that repair works on the damaged transmission pipeline along Outering Road are progressing, with only a small section remaining to be completed. Unfortunately, the ongoing heavy rains have significantly hampered operations, particularly across the river section. Due to safety concerns for our staff and equipment, we were forced to halt all further works at approximately 10:00 PM last night.
