Blame must be placed squarely on cowardly, incompetent administrators. All the way to the top. Blame the top FIRST. These are the idiots who placed the fake principals.
100%. The rot always starts at the top. They care way more about protecting the district's PR and securing their funding than actually protecting the kids sitting in their classrooms. Clean house.
This should apply to ALL jobs and ALL govt positions.
That is the perfect analogy. If a bartender is legally liable for serving a drunk driver, an administrator who ignores months of violent warnings should absolutely be standing in front of a judge.
The officials should face felony murder charges asfar as i am concerned. And judges who let violent criminals free should also be liable if those criminals reoffend.
When you are the sole authority figure in that building and you knowingly ignore repeated, desperate warnings that lead to a murder, you are an accessory.

Truth is this is Obama's fault. Really. Look up the restorative justice policies that he put in place, and are why bullies basically run wild, and even are able to use the system to advance their bullying.
The school administration needs to share the responsibility and be held accountable for their inaction.
My gut instincts tells me that it was a black student who is responsible for this, but we’ll never know because of juvenile laws.
Of course, that’s on the adults. If you signal to a child that they can violently bully others and nothing happens — even when the victim speaks up — you’re basically teaching the child that this behavior is okay. A bully is screaming for boundaries. You need to give them what they’re asking for; otherwise, they will scream louder and louder until someone gets seriously hurt or dies. If this kid doesn’t face consequences now, his behavior will only get worse.
This should have never happened. That poor baby beaten to death. And her sibling had to watch. A family destroyed.
“The kid had an iep” I’m sure is the song they are singing. How horrible. Illegal activity is happening in schools. One year I had a 5th grader take scissors, open them and fling them at my other student in the head. In class. I reported it to admin… I was told it was my fault the kid felt the need to do this because the other kid said the N word. Turns out the offender was lying and that wasn’t true. Kid did it because yes he had emotional issues. He wasn’t even suspended… because the AP said, “he has a hard life at home and I’m not being sympathetic to his situation”. I was 8 months pregnant with my first child at the time and I DIDNT FEEL SAFE in the classroom if the admin wasn’t going to do anything. On my last day (the next week) he brought an actual weapon to school. Now the police had to get involved. I think then he was expelled. It is wild. These liberal admins are horrible.

@CookieM89371034 The taxpayer will pay a massive settlement and the school officials will have no consequences. If your kid is being horribly bullied then do whatever you have to do to take your child out of that school. Do not think school administrators will protect your child.

@HappyMom2502 This is a huge problem in public schools today. They refuse to help and take NO accountability when things go wrong. I had to deal with an ongoing bullying issue on the bus and they would lame out by saying they had no jurisdiction there. I drove my kid to school from then on.

They should also go after the doctor at the ER who sent her home with aspirin. That hospital was negligent, they could have saved her.
What’s really important here is that we don’t upset @RepLloydDoggett with ideas of vouchers. Just make all parents sacrifice their children on the alter of a jobs program for adults and donors to his party while refusing to protect kids.

Los Angeles Unified School District’s Board of Education members are responsible: they eliminated school police officers from secondary campuses in 2020-2021 during DEFUND police movement. Our parents brought 5,600 parent signatures petitioning to #BringBackSchoolPolice—but we are ignored! We warned them more deaths would occur on their watch—for years! Now multiple children’s lives are destroyed.
The school admins are basically hands tied by district policies, and those policies come from the Obama era "restorative justice" bs that actually just makes *more* bullies.

This is why I say schools are training decent people to accept being victims. They will do nothing to the problem kids and I bet you if Khimberly didn't die they would have punished her severely for defending her sister. Zero tolerance for good people and no consequences for the bad

Parents, normalize taking your kids out of schools that don't protect them. There is no good reason why your child should be bullied for months and fearing for their safety every day. YOU wouldn't endure endless harrasment, why do you expect your children to? If it were a one time event, I can understand. But months? Sorry, no. Also, parents need to start demanding that the schools prohibits bring metal water bottles. Lately, it's been the weapon of choice for lots of school kids to use against their classmates. Your child's well-being is important, it's your responsibility over anyone else's, to make sure nothing happens to them.

NEW: 18-year-old transgender pleads guilty to the murder of a 12-year-old girl who they had s*xual relations with. Disgusting. Ash Cooper has pleaded guilty to murdering 12-year-old Morgan Connors in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Connors was found facedown with her pants around her ankles and a gunshot wound to the back near her neck. Cooper was initially charged as Joshua Cooper but started transitioning after the arrest and now demands that the court call them "Ash." Cooper is facing 15 to 40 years in prison for the 2022 murder.
