Might just be one of the best animation apps now for sure! I got a demo from you guys @ lightbox last year, and I felt like single purchase softwares with amazing tools and simple overlay opened for beginners like me were getting rare and we need it so much today 😁 thanks alot

would LOVE to see a future update that adds meshes and ways to tween similar to Toonsquid! would love an app like this with tweening on PC that isnt like $100+ lol! great work so far!

@HYLOFT Our dev team does use AI tools to help the process of finding issues in our code, help with optimizations, scripting to facilitate distribution etc... This use of it is useful for providing a better app to everyone. 🙏

@HYLOFT If you guys are cool with ai use for code how does that translate into your feelings on generated images? I want to ensure its not going to end up like photoshop where it will feed my art into a data pool yk? Thanks for answering btw I admire how responsive you have been

@HYLOFT We will never use generative AI for the drawing or animation, the entire goal is that YOU draw and YOU animate (we are also animators and artists, AI in technical parts like organizing code, making subtitles, and so on, is not like making the art itself).

@HYLOFT Also we don’t collect any data in Callipeg, there is no user account, we don’t know who the users are and what they do. It’s all offline as well. We don’t have any data base with what people do (but we LOVE to discover user’s work when they share it online so do it ahah 🥳)

I wonder if I can flip through only marked frames in Callipeg if needed? Like keyframes and inbetweens? Its something very useful on Harmony, I'm really looking for alternative software

Not at the moment (but you can export from Callipeg to CSP via the XDTS export)

Promising, will it be added in the future at some point?

The near future is vector layer, then camera layer. We also plan of a Blender/Callipeg smoother integration. But making a 3D engine is not in our list for the year to come.
