Update: Anthony Stolarz likely suffered a first #comcussion 5 minutes into the game when he took a puck to face that knocked his mask off. 25 seconds after the hit he did a SHAAKE (Spontaneous Headshake after a Kinematic Event) which predicts concussion 72% of the time.

Here is the isolated SHAAKE at the end of the prior video. Shout out to @DanMolloyTV for spotting it. NHL refused to put SHAAKE in their criteria for concussions spotters despite it having more evidence that most signs on the list. Read the study here:

Not saying you're wrong but every goalie does this every game, multiple times.

Hi Chris, I love all the work that you have done (and continue to do). It’s very impactful. With that being said, goalies do this all the time. I don’t personally think there was any correlation.

Goalies do this all the time. It's how they shift their helmet. Not saying it couldn't be related to a concussion this time but it's not a.for sure sign with a goalie

Goalies head shake all the time to fix their masks.

I’m sorry, I don’t intend to be disrespectful when saying I doubt the legitimacy of the head shake being a give-away for concussions but I was a goalie for 13 years and I used to do this all the time… like every game.

Chris goalies shake there head before every faceoff to make sure there helmet on secure. Play the game.

yeah except that’s what every goalie does when they put their mask back on you fucking idiot

Love all the comments. “I know you study concussions but I’ve played hockey at my local rink and goalies do this.” 😂😂

Love that you are trying to cover up Bennett's elbow to his head
