autonomously how?

Autonomously, as in I basically have it running as a cron job. Every 10 minutes, it creates a new prompt for a net-new widget, layout component, or variation we don’t have yet. Then it builds that component and runs it through a model refinement process, with checks to make sure the alignment and grid are cohesive. On top of that, three agents each review and rate the result. Only if all three give it at least an 8 out of 10 will the component be added to the grid view you see in the tweet. Then it repeats the process. That’s how I got to 66 components, up from 12 when I posted the original version. Now that I have 66, it’s much easier to create more. There’s still obviously some manual refinement because you have to go in and actually look at them. But overarchingly, it’s autonomously choosing new components to create or existing ones to build layout variations of. It’s mostly a test to see how far I can get it. We’ll share another update in 24 hours.

Great question. I’m going to have to do a whole other post about the demo setup because I have around 10 different demos, each doing fairly different things. This screen recording shows just one of them. Some demos focus on component variations. Others explore the motion design of moving through three different grid structures. The demo in this video has three carousels stacked on top of each other, with Codex panning across the entire canvas as I press the spacebar. The spacebar triggers the animation and creation of each carousel component. I told Codex that every time I press it, it should consistently generate the widgets, animate the grid structure, and pan across everything until the sequence is complete

It’s definitely not rage bait … but it’s still very very early

oh yeah, I'm just playing around. that was the big trend 1-2 years ago where designers would post "designers are cooked" with every AI tool, but in the background they were all manually created
