I'm a Canadian and I am with you on how I think it's...improper to keep pushing the false narratives. The reality of most situations is bad enough, we don't need to add another level of unnecessary hatred on top.

Tizzy - we call them Maple MAGA. They are mainly white, angry incels who have not quite achieved greatness and now are turning their hatred & bigotry on anyone who is not white. As a proud immigrant to 🇨🇦, there are less of them and more of us.

Every time a story is posted on twitter on a canadian news outlet of shooting, sexual assault, or any other crime, the comments are always full of accusations of it being an immigrant. The thing is no one who posts these comments even reads the stories. It's just the hatred drummed up by the conservative party leader pierre poilievre here. He wants to blame everything on immigration and trudeau.
