Today, Martha Njoki was all smiles, thanks to Baraka Smiles Dental clinic for restoring her beautiful smile. Martha Njoki is the lady I rescued last year from the streets. She was struggling with drug abuse and had completely lost hope in life. When I reached out to her, she accepted my help, and I took her to a rehabilitation center. I am grateful that she successfully completed her recovery journey and has been doing well since then. Today, I visited her at the Rapid Rehabilitation Centre for Addiction. , and together we went to see her two boys. They had been separated for over seven years, believing their mother was no longer alive, until I helped reunite them. It was an emotional and powerful moment. We spent time with her children and did some shopping for them. Seeing Martha regain her strength, dignity, and connection with her family is truly encouraging. As she continues to rebuild her life, I am now working on a permanent solution for her helping her secure a house and a job. This will give her the stability she needs to eventually reunite fully with her children after following the required legal process from the children’s home where they have been staying. This journey is a reminder that with compassion, support, and determination, lives can be transformed.

On our way back to Nairobi, we made a stop at Anita’s home. We had carried a few shopping items for little Talisha. It was not an easy visit the home is still heavy with grief. Talisha, just a young child, is going through a very difficult moment. Together with the house help, she witnessed the tragic loss of her mother. Yesterday, she seemed withdrawn, quiet, and not her usual self, after the family gently broke the heartbreaking news to her that her mum is no longer in the hospital and will not be coming back, for she has gone to rest. In her innocence, whenever she missed her mum, she kept saying, “Let’s go to the hospital and see mum.” That alone broke our hearts. We spent some time with her and the family. We talked, we comforted them as best as we could, and most importantly, we prayed together. In moments like these, sometimes prayer is the only thing that can offer even the smallest bit of strength. After that, we began our journey back to Nairobi. Let us continue to keep Talisha and the entire family in our prayers. They need strength, healing, and love during this painful time. Thank you, everyone.

Thanks to a friendly neighbour who raised the alarm, our resident female swan was rescued yesterday by the heroic Harry and Dan. She had been missing for 48 hours and her mate was looking dejected, so we looked everywhere for her round our lake - no sign. Then out of the blue - Jo rang and said she was by a swan who looked like she was in trouble. I couldn’t believe our luck - it was almost definitely our girl, and she’d got herself stuck in a low and narrow part of the towns river, with no room to take off. So we hastily planned a rescue - called for help and along came Dan and Harry who brilliantly and very gently caught her - wrapped her in a towel (closest thing I had to hand!), and transported her back to our lake where she was reunited with her very relieved mate. It was a special moment to see them back together again, and watch them doing their little head bobs at each other. I went back up later to feed them - and she was ravenous, bless her. So her hubby watched over while she had a good feed, and then he had his dinner. He was unusually talkative to me - throwing his head back, honking and then bowing it and giving a deep purr at the end. It was either a thank you, of he was ticking me off for man-handling his Mrs! Either way it was adorable, and she is safely back where she belongs and hopefully a tad the wiser. And totally unharmed!

This lady was a commercial sex worker who became pregnant. When customers stopped coming, she became frustrated. She came to my house with the pregnancy, and I instructed my driver to take her to the OPM Rehabilitation Center for repentant commercial sex workers, as well as repentant kidnappers and armed robbers. There, she was: • Given accommodation • Fed twice daily • Provided with clothes When it was time for delivery, she was taken to the OPM Free Hospital, where she gave birth to twins. We continued to take care of her and her twins until she met a woman who promised her a better life and convinced her to leave the rehabilitation center and stay with her. She packed her belongings and left. Today, she returned, complaining that the woman was maltreating her and her twins, and she is now seeking to return to the OPM Rehabilitation Center. Because of the two innocent twins, I decided to accept her back. Many people do not value what God has given them until they lose it.

Thank you! 18 years, 14 in college baseball, and 10 as a head coach. 3 states and 5 universities, college baseball has been much more than a profession for Jennifer and me, it has been our life. Our boys were raised on a college baseball field. From shaving their heads for Jennifer, helping us move, surprising our boys on their birthdays, and playing with them after games, we owe so much to the players I have been so fortunate to coach. To the life long friends we made at Corban and the impact that experience had on my career, the 17 assistant coaches who helped develop and lead great programs, and administrators who supported and believed in us along the way-- Thank you. Over 300 wins and 8 championships are special, but the relationships, memories, and battling together through the tough times will always mean the most. Thank you to all the friends we made along the way and to our families that have supported this journey!

The God of another chance has again done wonders. Former international boxer Conjestina Achieng AKA Conjee has fully recovered after relapsing. However, this time round, she's not going back to the village. She will be working at the Mombasa women rehabilitation empowerment centre with a salary. We are proud of her progress. Her journey is a testimony that recovery is possible, even after setbacks. We wish Conjee all the best in this new beginning and continue to keep her in our prayers.

The Wealthy man who Mysteriously passed away some days back in Police Custody while he was Being transported to Abuja from Abia was said to allegedly be into Organ Harvesting and he had unfortunately used the 2 Girls whom he lured to their untimely D3mise by sending them Money online. their family raised alarm and declared them missing. A nurse at Tema General Hospital shared a video showing the 20 packaged kenkey that a guy, currently in the talking stage with her colleague, sent to her after she told him she was hungry and wanted to eat kenkey. According to the nurse, her colleague mentioned to her talking-stage guy that she was hungry and craving kenkey. He replied that the he knew a good spot at UPSA and would buy some for her. Jokingly, the lady responded that she could even finish 20 kenkey if he bought that many. To their surprise, the man actually bought the 20 kenkey and had them delivered from UPSA all the way to them at Tema General Hospital.

Rescued in June, Kipekee lost her mother to human-wildlife conflict. She arrived at our Nursery in very poor condition, and it has taken round-the-clock care to nurse her back to health. Along the way, she has picked up a number of bodyguards - older orphans who have made it their mission to make sure this plucky little girl always has a chaperone. When Muridjo realised no one (elephant) had eyes on Kipekee, she immediately she ran over to check the little one was A-okay. This is just the beginning of Kipekee’s journey back to the wild — one you can support through an adoption:

'Bad Sports' - María Riot Maria has brought home two fans that were annoying her at the bar. She was watching the World Cup game when two english and french fans started picking at her after Argentina went 2 goals down for quite a while. In the last minutes Messi showed them why you never shall get ahead of yourself, especially when the GOAT is around. She had enough this time and didn't hesitate to shrink them after the game and bring them back home to teach them a final lesson. There's beef between argentinians and english fans that go way back in time though they also have some recent dispute with frenchs as well. Today Maria will make them pay for all sending them to the depths of her "blue & white" stomach. #giantess #vore

While driving home from work I decided to stop in and see my mother at the assisted living facility. My siblings and I had recently had her moved there because of the Alzheimer's she has been dealing with over the past couple of years. Mom and I have sung together since I was very young, but I have never taken a video of us singing, only audio. I decided to take a couple of videos for future posterity and post them on my Facebook page for my friends who had been asking to hear me and mom sing. When we sing together I feel like the son again and for a few moments she is the mom I have always known and she comes back to me in that moment. A pod of around 30 dolphins became stranded on a beach in Brazil after strong waves pushed them ashore. They lay scattered across the sand, making desperate clicking sounds and weakly moving their tails for help 💔🐬 A group of local residents and tourists quickly gathered together, working side by side in an urgent rescue effort. Every time a dolphin successfully made it back into the ocean, people cheered and celebrated with joy. Some of the dolphins even swam back in circles, almost as if they were saying thank you before finally disappearing into the sea. 🌊🐬

Exciting news! Early morning, Shujaa and Weka graduated to our Ithumba Reintegration Unit, where they will continue their journey back to the wild. It was high time for our Nursery’s resident rascals to broaden their horizons in a bigger, wilder environment — and perhaps even learn some humility from older elephant friends in the process! Full story to come, but we wanted to give you a peek at their arrival. As you can see, Mutara and her ex-orphan herd somehow sensed that newcomers were en route (we always marvel at the extraordinary, almost telepathic communication of elephants!) and planted themselves at the stockades to greet them.
