@struggleiswheel Airlines get away with criminal treatment of wheelchair users and their families. From the aisle chair to the treatment of loading and unloading of the passenger. To most airlines inability NOT to smash the persons wheelchair

😡 Appalling how they don’t cater for disabled passengers such a minor/small piece of equipment for airlines to carry to preserve disabled passengers dignity.

@coffeespoonie This is for those that CAN be transferred and are thin. Not accommodating for ALL.

@coffeespoonie Correct. I’m not the spokesperson for all disabilities. Just highlighting that there ARE options out there which MAY be suitable depending on access requirements. I can’t solve everything unfortunately, as much as I’d like to x

Of course I expect she had to use the economy toilets at the back of the plane requiring that arduous journey instead of first class so richer people there don’t have to see her & be disturbed by disabled reality v their privilege.

This was an economy fight for all passengers!

It's literally called an aisle chair, designed FOR THE AISLE, how could it be too big?

I've never seen this before and think it should be required on all flights. I can't imagine it costs much & it would open the world up to so many. Hey airlines opening up the world means more $$ in your pocket! 💜🐶💜

Perhaps aircraft designers should be required to provide one area on planes that fit electric wheelchairs & have a bathroom compartment next door large enough to accommodate wheelchairs. Not saying “accessible only” because plenty of disabled people are ambulatory a little bit.

I took my dad on a flight recently and he was so demoralised that i#he couldn’t get to the toilet that he just ended up wetting himself. He was so embarrassed and there was nothing I could do.
