Last night I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Edinburgh Tattoo for the first time. 👌 Why I have never been before is beyond me. 🤷‍♀️ It was one of THE best experiences I’ve ever had. 🙌Overwhelmingly good. Made me so proud to have worn a uniform. If you have never been, u simply have to put it on the bucket list! I also had no idea until the end that the show does not make a profit, it’s all for forces charities! An extra special thanks to Alan the show director and Laura for hosting my family so warmly. I played my dad the videos in his hospital bed this morning and he cried upon hearing the ‘Skye boat song’. It holds some special memories for him and my mum. And to ALL the team involved in the tattoo this year, you made my family’s dream come true. Have an AMAZING month! 🫡🙏🫶
