Rick Rule sees silver as a speculation, saying he buys gold for fear and silver for greed. With less than 20% of annual supply coming from primary silver mines and industrial demand still growing, he expects the next precious metals bull phase to eventually shift leadership from gold to silver, creating explosive upside in the right silver stocks.

When I first came across Max Keiser online 15 years ago, he was pushing his “Crash JP Morgan! Buy silver!” campaign. The idea was simple: banks were massively short silver, and if enough people bought physical silver and demanded delivery, the system would break. With silver now above $71 and up 141% this year, it looks like that thesis may finally be playing out.
