A Polish mother was arrested after refusing to leave her 13 year old son unattended with a police officer in Liverpool. Her son had been accused by a Nigerian family living in social housing of stealing garden keys, an allegation he denies. The officer later threatened to pepper spray the mother, who was then arrested. The boy was taken into a police van barefoot, with the officer refusing to let him retrieve his shoes and socks. Lady publicly cries out for help over her brother who has been missing for the past three weeks in Enugu, alleging that despite reaching out to the company he worked for, she has received no tangible feedback. According to her, her brother worked as a security guard with St. Christopher Security Agency in Enugu and had been missing since the 7th of this month. She said she traveled from Abuja to Enugu to meet the company, where she was told that they had reported the case to the police two days after he went missing, on the 9th. Serbian police have arrested a Turkish man after the dismembered remains of a 27-year-old Russian woman were found inside a suitcase near Belgrade, SHOT reports. The victim, Lyudmila from St. Petersburg, was last heard from on the night of July 25, when she told relatives she was heading to a nightclub in the Palilula district. According to SHOT, the 25-year-old suspect allegedly killed her, dismembered her body and later tried to dispose of the remains. He was detained at Belgrade Airport as he reportedly attempted to flee to Turkey. The suitcase was located by a police dog.

Frank Agbowo has called for the release of Nsukka-based content creator, Kelwizzy, who was reportedly detained after publishing videos criticising the condition of roads and other governance issues in Nsukka, Enugu State. According to Barr. Frank in a video released yesterday, he received a call from a police station informing him that a suspect in custody had mentioned him as his lawyer. Upon arriving at the station, he said Kelwizzy allegedly told him that he had been abducted and brutally ass@ulted. Barr. Frank further claimed that he contacted the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) to find out the allegations against the content creator, and was allegedly told that Kelwizzy’s detention was connected to videos he had been making criticising the poor condition of roads in Nsukka. Kelwizzy’s last post, made five days ago, showed him appealing to the Nsukka Local Government Chairman to intervene and come to the people’s rescue over the deteriorating condition of the roads in the area. Barr. Frank also revealed that Kelwizzy is expected to be arraigned in court today, August 10, 2026. He has therefore called for the immediate release of the content creator, while raising concerns over his reported detention and treatment.
