UPDATE: State Forestry confirms 1,400 structures have been destroyed by the #Southforkfire and #saltfire. Together, the fires have burned more than 20,000 acres and are 0% contained. KOB 4 Griffin Rushton will be live in Roswell with an update at 10.

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton If you want to see something more devastating then you should look at any Hawaiian social media post and see how this administration has been absent in aiding those effected by the Maui fire. Pay attention to how you will be offered scraps compared to say , Ukraine.

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton Any blue roofs?

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton I have no idea how the village will ever recover. This seems pretty apocalyptic. Completely devastated.

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton My heart goes out to the residents. It's a long slog back, but come back they will. Hopefully no one will blame Jewish Space Lasers or the residents for failing to "sweep the forest floors."

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton devastating. Yet 3 row SUVs and Full size pickups still sell like Hotcakes

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton Our local news reported yesterday, that the residents said it was like, poof, a fire out of nowhere. Which sounded like Maui, and several others. Northern NM had either a "sleeper" fire or a forest service man do a controlled burn on a windy day. We've had a lot of fires in NM

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton 💔💔😢🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton Hey @kassi_foote I’m with Storyful news agency, working with ABC, CBS, and more. Did you film this footage? If so, may we distribute this footage, with credit to you, per

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton This is so sad! Did they have forest management?

@KOB4 @GriffinRushton Good news is that it looks like, at least in this area, the trees will recover.
