Bill Maher and Molly Jong-Fast clash over whether local news still matters Michael S. Roth: “So here we have it. An incredibly addictive product. It is. And holding these companies to account for getting kids hooked very early on this stuff is so important.” Molly Jong-Fast: “Imagine how bad that trial was going to be that Meta settled. Like, imagine. ’Cause they settled because they didn’t want to go to trial.” Bill Maher: “This was not every state, but it was a lot of states. It was $18 billion, which it takes them 33 days to make.” Rep. Byron Donalds: “The apps are very addicting. There’s no doubt about that. And it’s not just kids, it’s adults, too.” “People are really being focused into their corner of the world based upon their own private algorithm. And that is somewhat destructive of Western civilization.” Molly Jong-Fast: “But this is Congress’s fault, right? They never regulated any of this. They never regulated Facebook at all.” “And by the way, this has killed local news.” Rep. NY Democrats Gave us a Mother's Day Gift - TRYING TO BAN UNVAXXED KIDS FROM ALL SUMMER CAMPS! TAKE ACTION NOW! This is as underhanded as it gets — on the Friday before Mother’s Day weekend Albany Democrats snuck in a bill requiring all summer camps to ban all unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children from participation. A dangerous vote in the Senate Health Committee is happening tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12. We must stop this! Everyone needs to do the following right now: First, make 2 phone calls: Health Committee Chair Senator Gustavo Rivera: 518-455-3395 Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins: (518) 455-2715 Tell Rivera to remove bill S.3958a from the agenda on Tuesday May 12 - we want NO VOTE on this terrible bill! Tell Stewart-Cousins she must not bring this bill to the senate floor! Last, complete the following action alert now, then call your Senator and tell them VOTE NO ON S3958.a! Assemblymember Jeffrey Dinowitz and Senator James Skoufis are trying to do more favors for the vaccine industry with S3958a/A3254a, a bill that will require children who attend summer camp to be up-to-date with the required vaccine schedule. This is just another authoritarian bill that undermines parental rights, religious rights, and the authority of physicians to treat patients, for no discernible public health benefit, and further bolsters the Democrats’ position as puppets of the vaccine cartel. This bill has already passed in the Assembly so we will have to stop it in the State Senate. TAKE ACTION NOW! TALKING POINTS: Is there any need for this bill? Are there demonstrable outbreaks in summer camps? This bill will close dozens, if not hundreds of summer camps in New York. Once again, the Democrats have no clue how to incentivize business in New York. This bill would also place a considerable administrative burden on camps. Only one other state, California, requires all campers to be up-to-date with the school schedule. This bill just adds to the needless and unjust discrimination against people with religious beliefs that preclude some or all vaccinations since New York became in 2019 one of only 5 states that do not allow religious exemptions in 2019. Medical exemptions are technically allowed in New York, but they are nearly impossible to get, as shown by New York having the lowest rate of medical exemptions of any state, according to CDC. TAKE ACTION NOW:

Huge: Tennessee has passed HB1663 to allow the death penalty for child rapists. The vote was 77 to 19. The 19 who voted against it are ALL Democrats. You have to see the evil way Democrats opposed it. Pro-abortion Dem. Rep. MATT VAN EPPS WINS! called it "incompatible with the right to life." Yes the lady with a planned parenthood endorsement on her site ACTUALLY said that in defense of child rapists. Aftyn supports killing unborn babies but not killing child rapists. Other TN Democrats like Gloria Johnson and Justin Jones also opposed the bill alongside Aftyn. This video of the floor vote should disgust you. I sensed that even Aftyn knew how bad it looked when she gave up her speaking time. William Lamberth was a true hero of survivors in his responses where he read letters from the survivors. You should listen to every word. I pushed very hard for this bill when an illegal immigrant was caught last year after raping over a dozen kids where I live in Franklin, TN. I promised we’d make the death penalty a reality in TN and my friend Rep. William Lamberth took this fight on for us, listened to brave survivors who’ve been calling for this and made it happen alongside TN Senate GOP and TN House Republicans. Now this bill goes to Gov. Bill Lee’s desk to be signed into law. Child rapists will have no safe space in Tennessee. I don’t care what race you are, what party you vote for, what your job is or what religion you profess to follow… If you rape kids, you deserve the death penalty and society should not pay for you to continue living. Period. As happy as I am that we got this law passed, I’m left wondering… Why do so many democrats in office care more about the lives of child rapists than they do about innocent unborn babies? Why do they think pedophiles have more of a right to life than an unborn baby? How can anyone support them after this? For anyone who thinks maybe Dems voted against it because it was part of a larger bill or something, it wasn’t. This was a stand alone bill to give juries the option to hand down the death penalty for child rapists. That’s it. Whether they admit it or not, those 19 pro-abortion Democrats stood in defense of child rapists with their votes. I can’t wrap my head around that.
