The #PalisadesFire is absolutely exploding in West LA and is quickly moving toward homes in Pacific Palisades. The images just continue to get worse. Sadly, the weather for Wednesday calls for even worse winds gusting 60-90 MPH in the Santa Ana Mountains. Evacuate if you are in danger and follow all evacuation orders from local officials. The tragedy is central Texas is truly heartbreaking. I can’t imagine what it would be like to lose my daughter. It’s a horrific thought. Yet that’s the heartbreaking reality many families are facing right now in the ongoing tragedy at Camp Mystic and along the Guadalupe River. Governor Abbott has declared tomorrow as a day of prayer for everyone impacted by the floods. Please pray with me while over 500 first responders continue their search for those still missing. Pray we find survivors.

Since many conservatives are praising Texas Governor Greg Abbott for ordering the Texas National Guard to defy the United States Supreme Court, should President Biden do the same and order the federal government to defy the SC on abortion? Explain to me why he shouldn't, if you think Abbott's moves are good for this country. Why does one political party think that they are above the law?

Greg Abbott is currently in India celebrating India as a constitutional republic. The Texas Constitution clearly states that when the governor is out of the country the lieutenant governor becomes the acting governor. Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is the Acting Governor of Texas during this civil war border crisis. In 2020, Dan Patrick referred to vote-by-mail expansion efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic as a "scam by Democrats to steal the election." During the pandemic, Dan Patrick worked to increase access to hydroxychloroquine. After Joe Biden cheated in the 2020 election and Trump called out election fraud, Patrick backed Trump as he refused to concede. In October 2021, Patrick paid the first reward of $25,000 to a Pennsylvania poll worker who reported a man that voted twice.

As they continue to drift further apart, the chances of the storm as a whole getting any stronger than she already has are rapidly dwindling. A very weak landfall near New Orleans, Louisiana is imminent, with a second landfall over Houston, Texas still in the forecast for tomorrow.
