Winter has started in DR Congo. With increasing cold and rain the sufferings of displaced people will increase only. there is no electricity and less food & no clean water. The situation is catastrophic. Spread the word and speak up. Congolese are dying.

Death and looting have returned to Uvira after the M23 withdrawal. Already 5 civilians killed. Wazalendo, FARDC, Imbonerakure & FDLR are terrorizing a defenseless population. Who will be blamed now? The real enemy of Congo is the force that loots and kills Congolese. The international community must stop looking away.

Today is Kayoko's birthday! She does not talk much, and she tends to act as if she already knows everything before it even needs to be said. It is not that she has no emotions — she simply has no particular interest in letting them show, and at some point, the teacher has probably come to understand that. She does not mind being misunderstood, moves when she needs to, says what she has to say in as few words as possible, and considers that enough. When the teacher reaches out to her first, she does not push them away, but she does not exactly welcome them either — and somehow, that careful, precise distance she keeps is the part that tends to stay with you. Maybe today is a good day to close that distance, just a little. #BlueArchive

#M23 has demonstrated to the international community a commitment that goes beyond what many believed possible. The movement has respected the ceasefire and released around 7,000 prisoners of war as a gesture of goodwill. Instead of showing a genuine willingness to promote peace, President Félix Tshisekedi has chosen a path that continues to spill the blood of the Congolese population and has now even targeted humanitarian workers. One cannot help but wonder how long this situation can continue. It has been some time since we last heard him screamingfor help, but a day will come when his constant screaming for help will no longer be heard, as those who boldens him are witnesses of his barbarity.

“Man is the one who desires, woman the one who is desired. This is woman's entire but decisive advantage. Through his passion nature has given man into woman's hands, and the woman who does not know how to make him her subject, her slave, her toy, and how to betray him with a smile in the end is not wise.” - Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, Venus in Furs . Don’t you agree? . . . .

saying wonyoung “had it easy” is insane. she has been harassed by a grown up woman when she was still a child, people were sending her death threats over eating a strawberry with two hands and she’s still targeted to this day. she worked RELENTLESSLY to stand where she is today.

This is Chomzy and her husband celebrating the child of his first wife after “forcefully” taking him away from his mom. Previously, the woman came out to say the husband was cheating on her with Chomzy and was physically abusing her. She also claimed he was trying to use his money to take the baby away. She was attacked by Chomzy on Snapchat and was called names. After he married Sister Chomzy, she has become the mother figure and as you can see, she is the one receiving the praises. While the mother is not given that honor 🖤🤍. And the question is “Why is Sister Chomzy receiving this for a child that is not hers???”
