You can actually run around GTA3 and Vice City DE with shotguns assault rifles and the flame throwers and shoot at the same time in the new GTA DE Patch Both in the previous version and classic GTA3 and VC this wasn't possible.

Public illumination: Tonight, we visited Zithobeni, in Bronkhorstspruit, to witness the public illumination of streets in this area for the first time in decades. The city has installed 73 streetlights in Rethabiseng and 28 streetlights in Zithobeni Ext 4. We joined residents, local councillors and the MMC for Utility Services Cllr Frans Boshielo to energise these streetlights. We want our communities to be accessible day and night and this project will ensure that this objective is achieved. Last year, the city conducted similar programmes in Rama City and Hammanskraal. We can see the massive leap between the GTA V map and GTA VI. In Vice City (VI), Rockstar has delivered multiple distinct cities and regions, giving the world a richer and more varied feel. GTA V’s Los Santos and Blaine County map always felt cramped one big city with countryside tacked on and never truly captured the scale of an entire state like the original San Andreas did in 2004. San Andreas was groundbreaking for blending three major cities (Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas) with deserts, mountains, forests, and rural areas, making it feel like a living American state. GTA V, by comparison, felt like a detailed slice of California rather than the full experience. I’m hoping Rockstar brings that same San Andreas-level ambition to GTA VI. With rumors and leaks showing multiple cities, beaches, swamps, and varied biomes, Vice City has the potential to deliver the expansive, immersive open-world masterpiece fans have been waiting for. If they nail the variety and scale, GTA VI could become the new benchmark for open-world games. What do you think how big do you want the map to feel?

NEW: New York City mayor Eric Adams has unveiled the Knightscope K5 security robot to patrol the subway station in Times Square. There’s no plan to solve the migrant crisis but at least you have a robot, NYC! The 400 pound robot, was leased by the NYPD for 6 months & will cost them $12,500. “We’re committed to exploring innovative tools to continue to make this city the safest big city in America, and this robot K5, it has the potential to serve as an important tool in our toolbox,” Adams said. In 2017, the city tried out a similar robot however it decided to take a swim in a fountain and drowned itself. Clown city.

TIL that GTA III has an unused but fully functional feature that gives the player $1 for every second a passenger sits in their taxi (like in GTA2). The Taxi mission even has this script command present, but commented out. Vice City kept the code, but cut the script command.

The Serbian community has deep roots in this city since its earliest days. Chicagoland is home to the largest Serbian community outside of Serbia and the Balkans. We are a huge, longstanding, and proud community in this city and we will not accept being disregarded or insulted. Without any consultation with our community, a decision was made to raise the flag of the terrorist and criminal “Republic of Kosovo” at Daley Plaza. This is an occupied territory that remains deeply painful for the Serbian people as this land is the centerpiece of our religion, culture and identity. For our community, this act is not symbolic or fun, it is a political statement that directly insults us. This action is unacceptable. If this terrorist flag of so called Republic of Kosovo is raised again in our city without dialogue or consideration of our community, you should expect a highly visible public protest at levels you’ve never seen before. We demand that this issue be addressed immediately. Engage with our community. Show respect for the people who have built this city. Do not repeat this mistake. Do not think to insult us like this ever again.

Stormwind was the first city we ever built. Our lead programmer had it load and play the song "We built this city" to our surprise when we first loaded in. The first version of Stormwind had no districts or canals. The framerate was below terrible. Then I thought of Venice. I grabbed a map of the city and slapped it down on the table the next morning. THIS, I said, is how we'll partition the city, drawing only the district you can see, separated by canals. It worked, and Stormwind was born.
