Trump said in his Turkey press Q&A he’s their number one target — he’s on all their lists. Nothing new, of course. But something is different: he went full attack mode on the Iran leadership, calling them “sick,” “crazy,” “scum,” and “evil.” As far as he’s concerned, he’s done. I think there’s real credible evidence they might get to him. He even said “so far I guess I’ve had a little bit of luck, but maybe it doesn’t last very long.” So Trump knows he needs to finish the job before anything happens to him. Old AF1 has better missile defense capabilities anyway. Rumor has it Iran sent missiles toward Turkey too. It’s serious times. Prayers up, America 🇺🇸.

Press aboard AF1 are never allowed WiFi access. That’s standard.
@DeborahJSimmon1 While flying this weekend, our plane was asked to lower the shades while on the tarmac to help keep the plane cool. Maybe that's it?

@meganmesserly We would be told to do the same in the military when flying in/out of dangerous areas. I believe it’s a precaution to make it harder to spot the plane. They would kill all the lights too.

No. But it’s possible they’ll have some F-35s off the wings until they’re in friendlier airspace, which could also be a reason they’d have window shades closed, as they wouldn’t want that to be a story for opsec reasons So many possibilities. Very little info.

@meganmesserly Iran has already said they want to target trump with missiles while he's in Turkey.... So this is without a doubt in response to the threat. I guarantee AFO will be flanked with growlers, f22s or 35s, and there is probably and AWACS in tow as well...

@meganmesserly My first guess would be it’d allow AF1 to fly dark, but it’s not really dark enough for that yet. And they’re supposed to be flying west, into the sun. So I’m not really sure.
