As a former Consultant for Arthur Andersen in the pre-internet 90's, I could tell you stories about how wonderful androus glamorous air travel once was. Arrive at airport 20 minutes before departure. Rarely a canceled flight. Good food with real steak knives. No EBTers!

@ImGinnyRobinson Honestly, it’s been like this since Covid. Airlines just keep getting worse and not 1 politician wants to talk about high speed trains. I quit flying when I had a DFW to Miami flight was direct ended up landing in St Louis and a 36 travel time in all airports.

Dude I was a road warrior for 15 years. I've seen everything and been in every situation. It's beyond frustrating to be at the mercy of a bunch of goddamned idiots. From the surly security team the airhead gate agents to the "whogiveafuck" baggage people. It's just a fucking nightmare every time.

I quit flying 7 years ago. It was unbearable then. Airline employees have worse attitudes than government bureaucrats and doctors. Their egos and power trips are off the charts. I don’t miss it. Good luck getting to Austin. Now, if you were part of the Epstein class, you wouldn’t have to intermingle with commoners flying. You’d have your own jet.

Totally agree! @AmericanAir SUCKS! Everytime we fly our flights are delayed or canceled for “MAINTENANCE” how is that possible?? Round trip this weekend from Chicago to Charlotte NC (which is Americans hub) and they delayed a 8:30 am flight to 1:30 pm, and on the way home the same shit happens. “Maintenance” again and we sit at the airport for hour and hours with ZERO recourse.
