The proposal is to treat childcare like school vouchers or SNAP: Give the money to parents and let *them* decide where to spend their childcare dollars. Empower parents instead of giving money to childcare corporations.

I think I would prefer tax credits rather than another giveaway that would be full of fraud I know it is funds already allocated but that's not the point

I have a question....what ages do the children need to be? So many programs have eliminated help for certain mothers in past, but I like the idea what Vance is proposing. I and my Daughter live in California. I have 3 grandchildren. The school system is horrid nowadays. My oldest grand is 15. My daughter doing gr8 job with these kids, but have a middle who needs SO much guidance and school not giving it. This program would allow her to guide her own children instead of school.
