WATCH: Progressive groups assembled in front of the Manila Police District Headquarters on Monday afternoon, joining families in their call to free the youth, vendors, and tricycle drivers arbitrarily detained by the police Sunday after the Mendiola protest. Mattheo Wovi Villanueva, a UP Diliman student, was one of over 100 individuals violently arrested by the police. The groups pledged to hold the police’s violent response accountable, calling instead for the arrest of those involved in government corruption.

Over the last couple of days, it's become very apparent to me that we, in Australia, you and I, we are at the forefront of a battle for internet freedom, for freedom of speech, for the freedom of political communication, the right to share ideas and the rights of internet freedom that we in our modern societies should have distinct from the involvement of the government. Don't ignore what the Australian government is attempting to do, participate in the process and have your say on their "Ministry of Truth".

The US is definitely a settlers’ colony in which Native Americans were ethnically cleansed by settlers. What the US settlers did to the Native Americans are no different than that being committed by the Israelis on Palestinians. The UK Government, though merely a lapdog of the US, have delusions of the glory of their colonial past hence its preparedness to see genocide being committed on a people without any compassion. What is being committed is merely an extension or replication of what it used to inflict upon the peoples living in their empire. As for Israel. It is a colonial settler and with the US, UK and other former imperialist nations supporting it, commits the worst kind of crimes against humanity wantonly and with impunity.
