Utah Highway Patrol was notified around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning of a black Tesla #CyberTruck stopped in the left-turn lane at the top of the I-15 northbound off-ramp at 10600 South in Sandy. The complainant reported the vehicle was running with someone inside and had remained stationary through multiple traffic light cycles. A UHP trooper arrived on scene at approximately 2:44 a.m. and found the #CyberTruck still sitting in the turn lane. UDOT traffic camera footage showed it took several minutes for the driver to exit the vehicle. The driver was put through field sobriety tests, and by 3:04 a.m., the driver was in handcuffs. According to radio traffic, the driver was allegedly detained for suspicion of DUI. Gaining entry to a locked #CyberTruck can be difficult, so it was fortunate troopers were able to get the driver’s attention to open the door.

After the crash, the suspect drove around the trooper and continued northbound. The trooper initiated a traffic stop, but the suspect kept driving before abruptly stopping near 3500 S. The suspect then exited his vehicle and brandished a knife. The trooper discharged his firearm, and the suspect was pronounced deceased on scene. Investigators are currently on scene. 📸: Jadyn I

A tragic road accident at Ankyernyin in the Nzema East Municipality has claimed the lives of two people and left seven others seriously injured. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle had earlier been hired to transport a dead body from Axim Government Hospital. However, while returning from the trip, it was involved in a fatal crash at Ankyernyin. VIDEO | Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's childhood coach, Manish Ojha, revealed how the young boy's mother, Aarti, would prepare lunch for 10-15 people before the father-son duo left for Patna at around 5 am. "His mother used to get up at 2 am or 2.30 am and would prepare lunch. Not just for Vaibhav or his father or their driver, but also for a couple of bowlers who used to come with them. Then there were net bowlers in our academy too. "Also, there were a lot of kids who didn't get much support from home, so they used to bring lunch for such kids and feed them," Ojha fondly recalled. "If good bowlers who got tired, forgot to bring their lunch, they would share Vaibhav's food. So 10-15 people used to come regularly, and you understand that getting up at 2 am in the morning, and making food for so many people, you have to understand how big a contribution it is," he added.

Dash cam footage from Pierces vehicle shows he actually moved his car over to the left to avoid Peacock who was riding his bicycle on the side of the road. Peacock followed Kempton to the skate park and demanded he give him his name and kept opening his door. When Peacock found out that he would be getting a Disorderly Conduct citation, he then wanted to dismiss and forget the whole thing. Kempton was also issued a citation for getting too close to a cyclist and that was based on Peacocks statement he gave to #ParkCityPolice that day. The citation Kempton was issued was dismissed after he submitted his dash cam video.

In Westminster police pulled over a reckless driver this week, only for him to casually mention his kids were in the trunk while he was being cuffed. Officers opened the trunk in freezing weather to find three young children huddled together next to bottles of alcohol. He reportedly put them in the trunk because the car was too full of "stuff" to fit them in the seats. The father is behind bars for DUI and child abuse. The kids were rescued by CPS and are now safe with family.

Former NFL player Wesley Leasy and his daughter are suing after police detained them at gunpoint in a case of mistaken identity while he was picking her up at the airport. Leasy says officers handcuffed him on the ground and pointed guns and lasers at both of them after mistaking his white Mercedes for a homicide suspect’s vehicle — even though the suspect was described as a young white man with tattoos on his face and neck. Leasy told Anna Schecter the encounter left him fearing both he and his daughter could be killed. CBS News has reached out to the Phoenix and Mesa police departments and has not received a response to the lawsuit.

Dublin Father confronts 3 migrants in Poppintree park in Ballymun, Dublin after he says that his child told him that the 3 men had been sitting close by watching them play and smiling at them. The father asks them "what are you smiling at my kids for" before he slaps one of them and then turns and slaps a second one. As that happens the other 2 run away while the 3rd one gets a boot for good measure. Regardless of their guilt or presumed innocence these 3 migrants shouldn't be sitting in parks smiling at kids that don't belong to them. They should know better than that no matter what shithole country they came from. Fair play to the man who confronted them in this video.

#BrightonSkiResort A skier on his very last run of his trip, goes down a snow packed road called Old Prospect Ave that connects to S Big Cottonwood Canyon Road. He is confronted and pushed by an older male with a #Shotgun that is camped out on a chair waiting for skiers to come down the road. He tells him he is on private property and if he comes down again he will have holes in him. I totally understand protecting your property but come on. His and a bunch of other houses are on that road right next to 2 major #SkiResorts. Looking on Google Earth there are no signs at the entrance saying it’s private property. This is something that Unified Police Dept needs to look into. It’s only a matter of time before he shoots and kills someone.

Many of them need wheelchairs or crutches to help them move around. One young man, a Form 2 student at Mateta Rujeko High School in Gokwe South, travels about 8 km to school using crutches. When he is lucky, he uses a donkey for transport. He lives with his grandmother, who is now too old to fully take care of him. Thankfully, a kind well-wisher, Titus Mapisarema Kandawasvika, has stepped in. He has pledged to move the boy to a boarding school and pay his school fees until Form 4. It is heartwarming to see such generosity from fellow Zimbabweans.
