To help her third graders think about and make good career choices when they are older, she invites people of different professions into her classroom. One day it’s a firefighter, another day it’s a doctor or a lawyer. Today it was a police officer. Some parents were objected to this choice because they said that police officers are armed and they didn’t want to scare the kids. I feel that it’s important to for the kids to build trust authority figures and they can have a better relationship with them and accept their roles when they get older. Do you think they were too young to start this kind of interactions?

Have you ever gone to get food with someone that gives you anxiety with the way they order? A young lady always dreads that someone will tamper with their food because of the way her grandmother orders. These places are always busy and with all of the special requests they are always doomed to get something wrong which will prompt her to engage with them and often humiliate the young lady. Do you think she tries to give people a hard time because it’s fun for her or are some people just this picky?

In this video, a UK Indian restaurant owner and his partner are standing up against people who are pressurizing them to change their menu. They clearly state that they do not sell Halal food and they will not be forced to switch to it just because of pressure. The owners show damage to their shop and mention that this is the third attack in the last two weeks, where people have pelted their shop with eggs. The owner is very angry and says that no matter how much they are bullied or harassed, he will continue to sell non-Halal food. They claim that these attackers are trying to provoke them, but they won't be intimidated and will keep running their business their own way.

UPDATE: But honestly, where are these people coming from? When this city was a complete ghetto these people were nowhere to be found. Now all of a sudden they are everywhere. They are even trying to colonize a bus shelter that is still under construction. The government keeps evacuating them. Some are sent to rehabilitation homes some are arrested and then RELEASED and sent back to where they’re coming from but they still keep multiplying.

These are the friends of the bride. They were having fun and they were hungry, seemed harmless. However the bride was very upset for them because she felt like she had more than enough food to keep people satisfied before the reception meal. She stated they had water bottles, pigs in a blanket and biscuits. She was so mad at them for taking away from her special day that they aren’t friends anymore. The food she mentioned didn’t seem very adequate, maybe if they were light eaters then that would have been fine. However I think they were fine and didn’t mean any harm, is it possible she overreacted?
