My question is: can you show me anything comparable to the Kaaba that we are required to connect with when praising Olorun Olodumare? According to some accounts of pre-Islamic Arabian religion, Allah was already known and worshipped among certain Arabs before the birth of Muhammad. So my question remains: how can I be expected to identify that same deity as my Olorun Olodumare, especially when Yoruba traditional understanding does not require Olorun Olodumare to have a physical shrine or image?
