JADE gets emotional reflecting on her North American tour in a new TikTok: “I’m having so much fun on this tour. I just feel so grateful that I’m getting to do this at this point in my career. The fact that I get to tour [North America] after being in the industry for 15 years, and only now just getting to do my own headline tour, is incredible. It’s been a long time coming. What’s really beautiful about these shows is that when I look into the audience, I recognise so many of the fans here from back in the day, who’ve literally waited for years – like me! – for this moment. It just makes me feel so loved and supported to know people have believed in me enough to stick around for years waiting for this to happen. Anyone that’s bought a ticket, dressed up, made their own costumes… It’s just such a lovely, beautiful thing. I hope they can see when I’m on stage just how much that means to me, and how much I love performing and putting on the best show that I possibly can every single night. I will never ever take it for granted. Something I am curious about and I wanted to see if the community is feeling the same way that I am. Does it feel like your ammo does nothing towards chest shots? Since there is no wipes on Escape From Tarkov anymore it feels like Ammo has become not as good and Its because everyone is running T5 and T6 plates I guess? Its not impossible to get high tier ammo but its not easy either. It feels like shooting someone in the chest just doesn't matter anymore with the ammo that you can get from traders and from crafting. So you need to headshot people instead of shooting for chest because chest shots unless you have the best ammo just isn't worth it because people take no damage from certain shots because of how the armor is done right now. I don't really know how to fix it this unless they went back to the old armor system? It just feels like things are weird right now and I wanted to make a post and see how everyone else in the community thought about it. Here is a video of me getting shot by the BTR and my armor tanked the entire round and did 0 damage to my chest.

Kyren Lacey’s story is a tragedy. I don’t have all the right words for what his loved ones must be feeling right now. But I do know this: life can get so heavy that giving up feels like the only way out. I hope you don’t. I hope you #KeepPushing, even when the darkness feels like it won’t lift. Brie Wolfson (Brie Wolfson) launched Stripe Press after being incepted by Patrick Collison. It's one of a career's worth of things that seem little and zig-zaggy at the time that you might only say yes to in the first place if you're comfortable in Flounder Mode. Brie coined the term after spending a day with Kevin Kelly and writing a phenomenal, personal, and original profile on him. The profile is as much about Kevin's impact on Brie as it as about Kevin himself, which is a fitting way to profile someone whose work has touched so many careers. Flounder Mode is a way of building a career by following your curiosity. It's winding, weird, and often illegible. I know something about this - I've been in Flounder Mode without having the words for it before reading Brie's essay. We talk all about Flounder Mode - why it feels uncomfortable, whether you can ever get over that feeling, and how to do it well - in our conversation. We also talk about how Brie wrote such a beautiful and different piece. A lot of nitty gritty on writing and creating a very personal career.
