I’d like to reemphasize this. The dust you see is not settling. It is still going uphill when it flies over the horizon and out of view. It is like a rocket that has curved below the horizon but is still climbing. If you get this, it makes sense why it clears the view so fast. /1

This is called the sonder effect. It’s the realization that every stranger you see has an inner life as rich, layered, and emotionally real as your own. No tip. Heavy snow. One very frustrated delivery driver. After making the trip through dangerous winter conditions, the driver refused to leave the pizza once he realized there wasn’t a tip. He took it back and told the customer to come get it from the shop instead. The volume of the muscles doesn't usually change much. Only the distribution of the mass. When the biceps contract, they don't bulge near the elbow. People are criticizing the rainbow cakes at Paris Baguette. In the display you see this beautiful rainbow cake for about $47. People started buying them because of how nice they look. When they get home, they see the outside layer is just a plastic sheet with the rainbow cake texture printed on it. Granted, the inside of it is rainbow once you cut into it, however once you take off the printed plastic you are left with a cake that does not look as nice as what was advertised. Should Paris Baguette offer refunds for false advertising or do you feel this could just be a misunderstanding?

This is something else. A restaurant that would charge extra for: Silverware insurance? Booth fee? Straws? Table cleaning fee? I'm surprised they didn't add a fee for printing the flippin' receipt! And then they have the audacity to add the tip in the bill as well and leave room for another tip on top of that! This is clearly a prank! It has to be! But if it wasn't, what would your reaction be to seeing a bill like this come to your table? 😏😬

On the paper, there's a clear count of how many times fans tilted their heads toward Ling (L), toward Orm (O), or toward both (LO) while taking photos during the first FMT in Bangkok. And when you look at Orm’s numbers, it's painfully low 🙂 First of all, I completely disagree with and feel very disgusted by this kind of behavior. What pisses me off even more is the double standard. Why is it that when Orm is the one being hurt, people tend to stay silent, as if it’s normal? Yet when it happens to someone else, suddenly the outrage is everywhere. Why is that? Because Orm is humble? Because she always smiles and pretends to be okay, so people think it’s fine to overlook her pain? Orm has been enduring this kind of treatment since the very beginning. It’s not something recent. It’s not something that happened once. It’s been happening again and again, and it’s still happening now. None of Orm’s fans are okay with this, I am not okay with this too, honestly sick of it. But I’ve accepted that, with a fandom this big, we can’t control everything. Still, there are many people who respect both of them, and that gives me a bit of peace But let’s be clear, accepting pain doesn’t mean it’s justified. So to those out there playing the “victim card” while turning a blind eye to everything Orm has been through.... You want to talk about fairness? Then let’s talk about Orm first 🙂
