@DempsterMartin How about just doing away with the ability to post general play scores? That way fake handicap golfers wouldn’t be able to keep genuine handicap golfers from playing in national competitions. Some of the handicaps I’ve come across are miles from being accurate.

i have absolutely no interest in club competition golf. As a Cat 1 golfer i have literally zero chance of winning. I just play against myself.

Totally ruined the game, I get no enjoyment out of competition golf anymore because I simply can't compete.....20 years trying to be the best golfer I can be in in one season this system has taken it out of my hands. This might be good for beginners but it's not good for everyone

Terrible system which has meant many golfers have lost interest in their handicaps. Also, how many golfers play in competitions internationally? Pitched at such a small subset.

World Handicap System , why can’t we enter scoring rounds when playing in another country ? Just played some of my best golf while on holiday, but none of the rounds will go against my index? ☹️

This is just crazy!! Even the golf world has gone woke! Imagine playing 16 holes then letting the computer finish it for you! Also general play should be banned it’s abused by cheats!

I think you need to revise your thoughts around ‘protecting integrity’ General scores are being abused to manage handicaps.

I've got a great idea. No handicaps and the lowest gross score wins the vouchers in the Pro Shop. Rewarding good golf and the rest can take some lessons off the Pro and practice. Earn it! I'm faster than @usainbolt in the 100 metres if he gives me a 70 metre start!
