Dear Mukuru WeMazuva, after you have finished your billion-dollar meetings and managed the endless notifications of bank balance inflows, please spare a moment for this young man. Rescue diver Victor Kazembe, popularly known as Coach Rambo, risked his life in the dangerous Budiriro sewer recovery operation to retrieve three bodies and bring closure to grieving families. True heroes do not always wear suits. Some enter life-threatening sewers to serve humanity. This young man deserves recognition. sir_wicknell. 😭🙏

In a tragic incident that has raised serious civic safety concerns, a young man identified as Tauheed lost his life after accidentally falling into an open sewer near the Satellite Bus Stand in Bareilly. The incident occurred late Tuesday night when he had reportedly reached the bus station to catch a ride back home. According to police, Tauheed slipped into the uncovered drain around 9:30 pm. CCTV footage later confirmed the moment he fell into the deep sewer. Initial observations suggested he may have been under the influence of alcohol and accidentally stepped onto a partially open section of the drain. Rescue operations were launched immediately, with teams from NDRF and SDRF working through the night. Despite continuous efforts, there was no trace of the victim for several hours. Authorities then brought in heavy machinery from Rampur on Wednesday morning to break open the concrete slabs covering parts of the drain and to pump out water. The rescue operation faced major challenges due to heavy garbage accumulation inside the sewer, which slowed down efforts. After an intense 30-hour search operation, Tauheed’s body was finally recovered. Local shopkeepers alleged that the drain had been left open after cleaning work by municipal workers ahead of Holi, creating a hazardous situation. Senior officials, including ADM City and municipal authorities, visited the site during the rescue. Police have initiated further investigation while questions are being raised over negligence and public safety measures in the area.

A 60-year-old man died after falling into an open manhole on Khairani Road in Sakinaka on Thursday afternoon while civic drain maintenance work was underway. The deceased, identified as Aslam Sheikh, allegedly stepped into an uncovered manhole. According to eyewitnesses, three contractual workers had removed the manhole cover to carry out drain maintenance. Sheikh, who was reportedly talking on his mobile phone, did not notice the opening and fell into the stormwater drain. The workers immediately lowered a ladder into the manhole in an attempt to rescue him. However, they recovered only his umbrella and slippers. Due to the strong flow of rainwater inside the drain, officials said it was impossible to determine the direction in which he had been swept away, triggering a search operation by the Mumbai Fire Brigade.

The discovery comes after three persons among six suspects, who were arrested earlier last year in connection to the disappearance of a young man, led authorities to their secret ritual burial site. Investigations after the exhumation of the missing person’s body led to the discovery of four other bodies, including that of a child also buried in the area. The bodies were immediately exhumed and have been deposited with authorities for further examinations and possible identification of the victims, whilst the suspects returned into police custody.

NEW: The mystery surrounding the three frozen Kansas City Chiefs fans seems to have been solved after host Jordan Willis checks himself into rehab. Willis, who was referred to as "the chemist" by friends, claims he was asleep for nearly 2 days as family members tried contacting him as his friends froze to death in his backyard. Willis was known for whipping up drug cocktails according to a cousin of one of the victims. "He immediately checked himself into rehab after vacating his home and putting his things into storage," a source said to Fox News. Now it has been revealed that toxic drugs were discovered in the toxicology reports of Willis' three friends. Experts claim that the men may have passed out in the backyard due to the drugs and then froze to death while knocked out. Police arrived at Willis' home after one of the bodies was discovered by a fiancée of one of the Chiefs fans. Willis came out of the house in underwear and a wine glass. He was cuffed but then released after he told officers he had been sleeping most of the time and didn't get the frantic calls. This man should be in prison, not rehab. Video: Alex Caprariello
