An Update on the Explode app: Thanks for everyone who tried out Explode 2 weeks ago. It was a piece of growth hacking art—showcasing the bleeding edge of iOS hacks with every pixel optimized for conversion. While it was just a side project, being able to send disappearing photos in iMessage is fundamentally useful and thousands are using it. So we just pushed two big updates today: 1/ All features & upgrades are now free forever. 2/ The servers are now optimized so the app will run indefinitely. Dean Blunt, Elias Rønnenfelt, and Joanne Robertson have shared a new album, available for download via MediaFire ZIP file. The project features artists including A$AP Rocky, Jeremih, Vegyn, Wraith9, evilgiane, and The Last Artful, Dodgr. The 11-track project, titled ‘ancnt grz ‘22-25’ (though upon download the title ‘🔪🩸🖤’ also appears), runs just under 14 minutes. Some of the songs have been circulating online for a while, and fans have now uploaded the full project to Soundcloud and YouTube. The three first connected on ‘Backstage Raver,’ Blunt and Robertson’s 2024 joint album, where Rønnenfelt appeared on “repeat offenders.” Blunt and Rønnenfelt followed it up with ‘Lucre,’ released in 2025, which also featured longtime collaborator Vegyn. Blunt and Rocky go back well over a decade, with Blunt’s production and vocals appearing across several tracks on Rocky’s 2018 album ‘Testing,’ among many other collaborations.

If you are going to see Noah Kahan in Fenway this week you are in for one. An artist in his prime immersed in his most emo locale of New England (Kahan is from Vermont). It is, undoubtedly, the best place to see him. His songwriting, voice, energy, showmanship, will never be better than it is now. He played 13 songs from his new album and the crowd knew all the words. When many artists play new songs at concerts people go to the bathroom. Kahan fans are TRUE fans. His dark, expressive features and easy charm fills Fenway--and he has a great rapport with his excellent band. "Paul Revere", "Orange Juice", ect. He played 26 songs in the rain and they all went over the monster (Except "Downfall"--one of my favs on new album. Needs to be more intimate, IMO) There were brief chit chats, great pacing, NO POLITICS, and fireworks at the end. A celebration of his sincere gratitude with a New England video travel log behind him. The video screens and backdrops were artfully and tastefully done. Smart, fun, energetic, production. This young generation of New Englanders has their James Taylor. (I would have loved to hear a JT cover last night.) A voice for a generation that will have staying power. Bravo, Noah Kahan

✈️ Day 34 of the plane game! I'm still here improving it every day New ad spots available now: 📊 Stats update: 380,000 people have now flown in the game ✅ Added fireworks on round end now (10 min rounds) ✅ Added start and exit portals from and to the #vibejam portal . pieter .com ✅ Better ailerons/rudder/elevator movements etc ✅ HUD "difference" blending mode for more visibility ✅ Server auto restarts every day now to keep it fast ✅ FPS improvements with progressive enhancement based on FPS (higher FPS gets more effects) ✅ Added view switcher and leaderboard buttons on mobile ✅ Lots of tiny bug fixes Next: - transmit vehicle type to server and show diff vehicles for other users (like tank, bazooka, f16) right now they all show as same - fix joypads get stuck on Tesla browser and make them dynamically placed - try again to add to a throttle, and then the throttle with a delay affects the engine etc.
