UPS driver makes $200,000 a year Honestly not a terrible gig

Forgot to say Owner Operator, you don’t make that as a Hourly Driver.

I can’t imagine having a good job. It’s just unbelievable to me that people have good jobs and houses. How the fuck they do that?!

That $200000 metric includes all benefits and presumes the driver is working 12 hour says six days per week. It's not take home pay. Typical take home pay is less than half that.

My moms worked for UPS for years as a local package driver. She got up to $37 an hour, accepted a full time position and the knocked her pay down to $21 an hour (now she works more and get paid less). And her union won’t rep won’t enforce the contract 🤦🏼‍♂️

If you started at UPS right now it would take 8 to 15 years to become a driver. Unless you already have a CDL and a good work history, it takes almost a decade to get there

Yeah, but you do have to be away from your family for a period of time. :/ I mean if your kids are grown and off somewhere it’d make sense but other wise… you’d be missing out on stuff imo.

CAP I know a gang of UPS drivers none of them were making $170-$200,000 get the fuck out of here and if you are making that kind of money, you’re never home you work seven days a week 16 hours a day get the fuck out of here . Good promotion though for UPS .
