If you're going to invite delivery drivers onto your property by choosing to have packages delivered to the house, than you are legally required to provide a reasonable level of safety for your invited guests under premises liability law.

Owners need to be responsible. Pets are supposed to be in an enclosed area or inside. Not free roaming so they can attack or be attacked.
