🐰What amazes me about u, hyung, is that..U do ur preps (for the show) thoroughly on your own and even sets aside a separate time just for gaming. 🐹I warm up my voice, warm up my body, exercise and also eat the rock honey 🐰That's what I mean! U warm up ur voice and body, exercise and everything completely (that u need to do) and still can make time to play games too. He does it all! Jin Hyung takes care of everything. 🐹You just need to get ready early 🐰It sounds easy, but it’s actually not easy 🐹By getting ready earlier than everyone else and get things all done fast one after another. 🐰I feel its really amazing cos I can't do it that way. 🐹I can't live the way u do either(*about getting ready) 🐰Understandable. 260815 young k full ending ment honestly, i thought i’d be less nervous today than i was yesterday. but bc i try to give my best in every moment, maybe i gave too much of my best yesterday. when i woke up this morning, i was like, “oh no, my voice… pls, just hold on for two more days.” so i’ve been warming up my voice the entire time in the waiting room, telling myself, “it’s going to be ok. once you’re up there, you’ll do fine. future u will figure it out.” tbh, i felt the same way yesterday. but somehow, it worked out. i think the stage is a place where miraculous things happen. things that make no sense happen there. i mean, ppl can practically fly in the air, u know? and while i’m saying all this, there might even be autotune on my voice right now. also, the songs where my voice doesn’t comes out suddenly came out and i think that’s bc of the strength i got from all of u. if my voice was going to work from the start, it should have been working since rehearsals. the directors and staff were so worried. it was complete chaos this morning. usually, i’ve never had throat lozenges waiting for me on stage before, but for the first time they were prepared. yet after sweating together and shouting together, my voice started coming back. that’s what scares me the most. not that i might sing badly, but bc i know it wasn’t easy for u to be here today. i know getting here wasn’t easy. i’ve been staying nearby for 3 nights and 4 days myself. but beyond that, u bought tickets and ticketing itself isn’t easy. thank u. i heard it sold out very quickly. it’s not just that. making time in ur everyday life, finding extra time and energy to come here, choosing to support someone… i know that’s not easy. that’s why i want to repay u for it. my biggest fear is that my voice or my body might not hold up, and i won’t be able to give back what u deserve. so, was i able to give something back today? did u become happier? did i do well? that’s such a relief. really, such a relief. i think i want to keep carrying this feeling with me every time i step onto a stage. it’s one of the reasons i couldn’t quit, and also one of the reasons i want to keep moving forward. i hope i can keep standing on stage and singing for a long time. the more i go on, the more interesting singing becomes. even during difficult moments, i’ll discover things like, “oh, if i sing it this way, i can still make it work.” or, “this pronunciation didn’t work before, but if i make the sound this way, it does now.” nobody really notices those things. it’s the same for bass players too, right, jeongpyo? u can barely hear it. at least vocals can be heard properly. but finding those tiny differences on your own, figuring out how to improve the overall quality of a song and a performance, changing a melody, adjusting an ad-lib, rearranging lyrics. the flow of a song can completely change. the nuance changes too. sometimes it sounds commanding, other times gentle. i find all of that fascinating, and i think i’m constantly finding my own joy in it. if u can enjoy that with me, that’s wonderful. but even just supporting me as i continue searching for that joy means so much to me. thank u, always. it feels similar to the lyrics of “thanks to.” *youngk sings thanks to and myday kept singing* go on, keep singing. ah, right. you are my day. there was no way it was going to end after just one line, was it? thank u, always. i feel like i’m finally in a position where i can give back more, and i’ve learned how to take care of myself a little better too. so moving forward, i want to keep making you happy.

260815 young k full ending ment honestly, i thought i’d be less nervous today than i was yesterday. but bc i try to give my best in every moment, maybe i gave too much of my best yesterday. when i woke up this morning, i was like, “oh no, my voice… pls, just hold on for two more days.” so i’ve been warming up my voice the entire time in the waiting room, telling myself, “it’s going to be ok. once you’re up there, you’ll do fine. future u will figure it out.” tbh, i felt the same way yesterday. but somehow, it worked out. i think the stage is a place where miraculous things happen. things that make no sense happen there. i mean, ppl can practically fly in the air, u know? and while i’m saying all this, there might even be autotune on my voice right now. also, the songs where my voice doesn’t comes out suddenly came out and i think that’s bc of the strength i got from all of u. if my voice was going to work from the start, it should have been working since rehearsals. the directors and staff were so worried. it was complete chaos this morning. usually, i’ve never had throat lozenges waiting for me on stage before, but for the first time they were prepared. yet after sweating together and shouting together, my voice started coming back. that’s what scares me the most. not that i might sing badly, but bc i know it wasn’t easy for u to be here today. i know getting here wasn’t easy. i’ve been staying nearby for 3 nights and 4 days myself. but beyond that, u bought tickets and ticketing itself isn’t easy. thank u. i heard it sold out very quickly. it’s not just that. making time in ur everyday life, finding extra time and energy to come here, choosing to support someone… i know that’s not easy. that’s why i want to repay u for it. my biggest fear is that my voice or my body might not hold up, and i won’t be able to give back what u deserve. so, was i able to give something back today? did u become happier? did i do well? that’s such a relief. really, such a relief. i think i want to keep carrying this feeling with me every time i step onto a stage. it’s one of the reasons i couldn’t quit, and also one of the reasons i want to keep moving forward. i hope i can keep standing on stage and singing for a long time. the more i go on, the more interesting singing becomes. even during difficult moments, i’ll discover things like, “oh, if i sing it this way, i can still make it work.” or, “this pronunciation didn’t work before, but if i make the sound this way, it does now.” nobody really notices those things. it’s the same for bass players too, right, jeongpyo? u can barely hear it. at least vocals can be heard properly. but finding those tiny differences on your own, figuring out how to improve the overall quality of a song and a performance, changing a melody, adjusting an ad-lib, rearranging lyrics. the flow of a song can completely change. the nuance changes too. sometimes it sounds commanding, other times gentle. i find all of that fascinating, and i think i’m constantly finding my own joy in it. if u can enjoy that with me, that’s wonderful. but even just supporting me as i continue searching for that joy means so much to me. thank u, always. it feels similar to the lyrics of “thanks to.” *youngk sings thanks to and myday kept singing* go on, keep singing. ah, right. you are my day. there was no way it was going to end after just one line, was it? thank u, always. i feel like i’m finally in a position where i can give back more, and i’ve learned how to take care of myself a little better too. so moving forward, i want to keep making you happy.

That’s my sweet spot. I often stream on Twitch → extra distraction + people seeing my game. Yes, I could play fewer tables. But 20–24 maximizes my hourly. With 10–15 tables I’d have higher ROI. But significantly lower hourly. —————————— Yes, my yearly sample size is smaller. Usually 700 – 1,200 tournaments/year. I mostly play Sundays. 2–3 sessions per month (more during big series). Fewer sessions = more focus. More excitement. Better preparation. And that reflects in my results every single year. And I want to show you something important: You don’t need to be a slave to poker. Even at midstakes, you can earn very well playing only a few sessions per week - depending on your goals and life outside poker. —————————— I also spend a lot of time on: • content creation • studying • researching • updating material for our students That keeps me sharp. I spot new things and exploits fast. I like systems. Simple systems. Extremely effective. I don’t follow many of the pushed GTO concepts. I believe many of them hurt winrates more than they help. I focus on: • spots that are massively underbluffed • spots where I can fold my entire bluffcatcher range • spots where I don’t need to bluff at all I train to identify those spots. Result? I need 1 second to decide. Others tank 20 - 30 seconds, think about blockers, balance, GTO… and still make a losing decision because they don’t realize the spot is under-bluffed. That speed lets me: • add tables • reduce mental load • increase profit Example: I created Postflop Rocket → one of the #12 most profitable postflop exploits for our Champions students. It’s a checklist. Easy to apply. Extremely effective. Especially if you don’t want to waste hours in solvers learning strategies that don’t move the needle anyway. People still laugh and say: “Your game is unbalanced. Easily exploitable.” Okay. Sure. —————————— Why remove the biggest score? To identify trends. In tournament poker, big scores often carry an entire year. They can also completely distort reality. Example: You’re down $100k. Then boom - $130k score. Now you’re +$30k on the year. Add rakeback → maybe +$35–40k. BUT… If your graph goes straight down for thousands of games and one score saves the year, chances are high you’re a losing player with one lucky run. Yes, we need big scores in MTTs. But be brutally honest with yourself without your biggest score: • Break-even? → Not bad • Slightly up? → Good • Decently up? → Amazing • Decently down? → HIT THE LAB! Review with friends/coaches. Find the Leaks ASAP! This is about probabilities. Are you truly winning - or just lucky? Many players overvalue their biggest score. They move up in stakes. That’s my sweet spot. I often stream on Twitch → extra distraction + people seeing my game. Yes, I could play fewer tables. But 20–24 maximizes my hourly. With 10–15 tables I’d have higher ROI. But significantly lower hourly. —————————— Yes, my yearly sample size is smaller. Usually 700 – 1,200 tournaments/year. I mostly play Sundays. 2–3 sessions per month (more during big series). I need 1 second to decide. Others tank 20 - 30 seconds, think about blockers, balance, GTO… and still make a losing decision because they don’t realize the spot is under-bluffed. Yes, we need big scores in MTTs. But be brutally honest with yourself without your biggest score: • Break-even? → Not bad • Slightly up? → Good • Decently up? → Amazing • Decently down? → HIT THE LAB! Review with friends/coaches. Find the Leaks ASAP! This is about probabilities. Are you truly winning - or just lucky? Many players overvalue their biggest score. They move up in stakes. Don’t know the exact number), but it felt like mostly Ruinous with games of Voracious where it made sense and no lane swaps - There was a good amount of AD/AP squishy and tank mix in each role with omega gigachad Zeka pulling out the Sylas Ahri and Akali where it made sense 🙃 - Skarner and Kalista were the outliers on priority, but teams didn’t seem particularly effective with Kalista… - Skarner on the other hand; will discuss with the team about larger work on him when we get back; he’s too effective at too many things, while also being impotent for regular players - As announced yesterday by Greeley, we’re hoping to see adaptive drafts continue with Fearless for the rest of the year, I think diversity will continue to increase as teams get better at finding lines to draft that make certain counterpick/situational champs god tier after certain champs are out; it will evolve into more of a TFT/Chess style “find the optimal line to draft with the pieces given”, which the prospects are really exciting - An improvement point feels like how long it takes to end if a team gets a significant early lead; part of this is how optimal boringly slowly choking the opponent out is over 15 min, rather than changing the incentive structure so that ahead teams can make major decisive play and can end the game swiftly - Maybe an opportunity space for the future… but interested in hearing peoples’ thoughts on this First Stand Experience - It was amazing and inspiring seeing how many fans were coming out to support the teams without tickets - Not only the KC fans who flew from Europe to do a meetup watch party and it was great chatting to a few, but also what felt like an unstoppable number of college girls coming out to support HLE. I think I counted about 100 wearing HLE jackets on finals day, but it was a reminder of how integrated and mainstream popular League feels in the East - As soon as the entry to the cheerfuls (signs) opened, they all charged in to go and start drawing their cards, it was honestly quite shocking the level of dedication and enthusiasm that some of these fans had, but also awesome - I can’t possibly imagine something like that happening in the West… - We also had the honor to play in a mini Arena tournament with a bunch of LCK Legends that have I've been watching for 15 years and didn’t do too shabby; went 6th, 3rd, 2nd, but Mingyo and Sangho were too good… - It will be the first and last time I get to say I killed Pray, Smeb, Kuro, Madlife, Shy on repeat :D and the players watching on stream were surprised to see the Devs were actually pretty decent LOL, which felt nice - A fan came out specifically to play with Kuro, wearing a ROX Tigers jersey and seeing the joy of getting to meet and play with your hero, she was laughing, smiling, it must have been the time of her life; it’s just a reminder of how meaningful League can be and just makes us really inspired to keep working hard to make the game good Solo Q Experience and Balance - Outside of the work obligations, had some time to slam 20 Solo Q games; was pleasantly surprised by my level this time around, feels like I’m playing around solidly KR D2/D1 level, which is quite shocking, because it’s not like I’m Masters level on NA right now and haven’t been able to play more than 50 games in the last 6 months due to life. Probably would've won more if I wasn't such a kda player xD - Main character syndrome still feels really peak here, the person either goes 8-0 or 0-8 and is spam FF’ing repeatedly, so minimizing my enemy laner impact, scaling and playing defensively to support my jungler feels most effective even though I’m playing Ori who feels like a dog champ on this server, since it’s so hard to actually land QW on anyone due to their mechanics and it’s risky to walk in river and so easy to die to ganks - Moving to help jungler in lost fights to avoid mental boom is the only thing that I’m finding annoying, some of these fight selections feel extremely perplexing, like Zac wanting to fight Lee at first scuttle with no prio and I end up having to sac my lane half the time to prevent them from AFK’ing or soft inting because I didn’t move, it’s super annoying… - Every post game chat also feels like at least 3 players are writing their PhD thesis, which is somewhat amusing, but also really unfortunate… - It feels like Lee Sin or Viego are in every game with a 30% pickrate, so if you can prevent the team from throwing and always follow them around and play secondary, they can carry, whereas on NA, Lee Sins in Diamond can't carry and suck relatively (ping hurts as well), so it’s not like you can play around them reliably - It was interesting to feel again for myself just how different these champs feel in their balance state across servers, indeed in one of the press conferences there was a question about balancing decisions making no sense for the state of the champ on KR server. I can see why KR players get angry when we buff Lee because the other regions suck at him, he unironically feels 2-3% winrate stronger on KR server, same with Jayce who has a monstrous pickrate here as well - We even almost buffed Lee Sin for First Stand because he’s been pretty absent from Pro, so I’m actually not quite sure what we’re meant to do about that… - The other thing that I forgot was how good it was to play on 2ms ping. I’m not sure whether it’s net positive for the person dodging or the person hitting, but since I mostly play immobile mages, it feels like I can dodge line skillshots and range leash people more effectively, which makes Mages feel so much better, though it also means it’s extremely hard to QW tag someone in a teamfight as Ori, let alone hit them with R - I’m curious if any people have done any analysis on this - I also attached typical KR Lee Sin penta 😅 Anyway, back to NA tmrw, lots of work to do

I think it was 3,000, so because it was so good, I bought it. and after that yesterday too while wandering around here and there, i happened to walk into a cafe and they had LPs there too so yesterday, I bought one or two ㅎㅎ lp's no mater how you look it they have a vibe... its true that nowadays you can just look up and listen to everything on your phone, but another good thing about it (lps) is that I think it’s really great for finding songs you don't know so when going to the lp shop you get to learn a lot of new songs that you didn't know before. even if you don't go with the sole purpose of buying an LP, it's just... really great for discovering things... should I say? a riize lp would also be good... back then, during boom boom bass, we even went there and did all that stuff with our LP too... how was the video editing? back then when i went to school when doing things like presentations, together with other students we would edit videos.. i did lowkey find that kind of stuff pretty fun though because it was pretty much my first time [doing that] since back during those days... but really i think it was fun like... yeah.. i want to try to do it again when i was young i did draw. i drew for fun but it had been such a long time since i last properly sat down and tried to draw something properly with a pencil.. i think it's been such a long time i'm probably the worst at drawing in my family? ㅎㅎ my dad's good, my mom's also good.. my grandpa also draws reaññu well. but it was fun drawing again, so i also want to try that again... why is there so many things i want to do? really why is it? and above all, i want to work really hard on music so that someday i can show you even more. now, like from the trailer to the full version that was uploaded to our site... those kinds of things are a bit different from just being a song, though.. now everyone, let's try meditating together with me sorry.. anyways.. i have to leave in a couple hours actually, so.. time to hit the hay, yeehaw i can't fall asleep right away ㅎㅎ this.. seems like it might be a bit difficult to interpret/translate.. I called my friend and mentor Armando Pantoja and asked him what he thought I should go for in terms of job (I needed a break from entrepreneurship). He said ‘I’ve seen you at conferences, you’re really good with people, you know marketing, and you actually understand crypto. He said go to conferences, you’ll figure it out. Just show up’ I did. I showed up to eth denver 2022 and I started the first iteration of what became fractl as an influencer marketing agency, because I saw a good skill-market fit and because I couldn't find a job lol but I hated it. I dont wanna manage influencers, I don't wanna manage artists. I’m an artist, I would never manage me, that's crazy 😂 One thing led to the other I became a fractional CMO. An opinionated one 🤓 I found myself always trying to lead founders towards personal storytelling… suggesting they put themselves out there more. I really believed that it would help them build trust in a space that so desperately needs it. Then, I started hosting our investor events (to get leads for the agency), and saw the struggle of founders building and fundraising at the same time and the original idea for this show started to form. We need bolder marketing in this space. What if we followed these founders around the world at all these conferences and followed their journey, building a company, raising, launching a token, failing. In these ruthless markets, with the drama of personal sacrifices… I could see it so clearly 😃 So I started pitching it. THE BEST MARKETING CAMPAIGN EVER GUYS!! WHO'S IN?? No one. I couldn't convince a single founder of the vision.🥲 Maybe I wasn’t qualified enough in their eyes to carry out such a big vision, following multiple founders on a 6 month production around the world. They were probably right lol But I’m also a little crazy. And really really stubborn. That's something right?? A few months later, inspiration still strong, I told pablo erminy who's worked on multiple Netflix shows about it and he said: ‘why dont you just tell YOUR story? You have a great story, people will wanna watch you build in public to fund your artist dream. As a first reality tv production, one story is more than enough to handle.’ Wise man. Maybe i did underestimate how complex a multi-lead, international, real-time, film production would be 😬 Done. because I know great advice when I hear it. PIVOT! 🛋️ So that’s how ’The Crypto Hustle’ was born. This journey I was trying to sell to other founders, I would do it for myself. show not tell. Now the funding. I tried selling the project to sponsors on and off for over a year, between the normal fractl operations, hiring, training, firing, messing up, learning. And only ended up spreading myself so thin, that I neglected the core business. Company became a mess (for others reasons too, that I will come up on the show, hint: boys) Bottom line is, we lost more money than we made, trying to sell a show. I should've known. Film fundraising is a producer’s full time job lol Fast forward 1 year, 2 pilots and a near bankruptcy later, I’m now launching Episode 1 from Korea and just wrapping episode 2 from Hong Kong. No funding. (except for Episode 1, thank you again Superteam Canada 🥰) Fuck it. Might not be the big production I had envisioned, but all the core principles and the emotions, and team talent is there.. An MVP. Now. because waiting for things to align would just delay this indefinitely. And because I have more conviction than ever. not only in authentic storytelling as the best marketing, but also because my soul needs this. I need creativity to keep going. If i stay too long in business mode without publishing art, stories, songs, dances, funny skits, I find no reason to wake up in the morning. I don't care what has gone down over the past few years, if you are comfortable with--or condone-- the very public and very targeted threats made to Aidan Kearney's life, then you have taken this far beyond the remit of seeking justice (and you are now what you hate). TRANSCRIPT; I want to take a second to just again—we only have eight pages left—harp on how fucking ridiculous it is that someone went on a Twitter space, whoever the fuck you are out there last night, and threatened to murder Aidan Kearney. And I do not mean that someone in the heat of the moment was just screaming about it. That is not what happened. I'm not playing the clip, I'm not doing it. Even to critique it, I'm not platforming what this person said. I'm going to describe it for you. Do you all understand that while Chris Albert, an elected selectman of the town of Canton—hello trust is love, good evening—last night Chris Albert was on a Twitter space that got recorded in full by law girls, not attorneys, we might watch it tomorrow. And he said, I heard the clip. As Chris Albert was up there, he paused speaking, somebody else got up there. Their identity is not clear right now. They didn't just threaten to murder Aidan Kearney. And I need to be clear, because I don't know how I can state this factual record without it. They did not just threaten to unalive him. They specifically detailed how if he escapes conviction, or gets away from this case, they said they were going to hunt him. And they sounded like they meant it. And that really fucking worries me. It was absolutely over the line. It frankly scared me. All right. It really, really scared me. Because that's straight mafia shit. I don't care. We need to talk about it. This is not okay. It's gone so beyond okay that I am just scared at this point. That doesn't mean I'm going to stop looking into this. Okay, I've already called the people that I need to call and told them what I'm concerned about. Okay. This is absolutely inappropriate. That what I heard last night put it completely over the line. This is out of control. All right. They said this person and Chris Albert laughed. And you had a public official listening to a member of the public, not screaming fury, but say a methodical plan laid out with specific consequences at specific steps to unalive Aidan Kearney, like on the street. That is straight mafia tactics. And I'm worried they're actually going to do it. What the fuck do you even do in that situation? It's gone way too far. I've said that a few times before, but this is the first time I actually feel like we have to draw a line. It just has to stop. This just has to stop like right now. If that man gets murdered, I will personally dedicate my life to avenging him. I don't even know him. He's done some very bad things in my opinion. Okay. Maybe he's done some noble things. I don't know. It's not always black and white. The point is I will dedicate my life to avenging that man. If you people murder him, do not do it. Do not fucking do it. Anything happens to him. I will dedicate my life to exposing it. Don't do it. I owe him nothing, by the way. He didn't take a dime from him if he offered it. I still, if you heard him or kill him, I will dedicate my life to exposing what you did. Don't do it. I didn't really realize the gravity of it. I think it deserves a little bit of commentary. I did not realize the gravity of it until I just spoke about it. I'm really concerned. Like I'm very upset and I'm also deeply troubled by this. On a level I have not been about anything in this case. We have talked about some really horrifying stuff happening. Every single bit of it, I was like, well, there's evil in the world. We have to confront it and fix it. This is different. Really different. We cannot have it. We cannot have it. I don't even know what to do. Because it's kind of out of my hands. I mean, I can call the FBI, I can say they're gonna murder this man. They probably know already, okay? Who do you think they called probably first thing this morning? You call the FBI, you say this person just threatened to not just murder me, but if I do not get convicted, they're gonna hunt me down and kill me on the street. They know. But what are you gonna do? You can't put him in witness protection. People are gonna be like, where did he go? You have to, the only option is to take out the threat. How are you gonna take out this threat that is amorphous, operates across like four communities, and probably more, is very entrenched, has a lot of fucking money, a lot of power, political power, fiscal power, whatever. I don't know what to do. If a single person gets hurt, I will go, I won't stop. I will go all the way to Washington. I will walk there until my shoes run through. I have a really bad feeling about all this, and something has to happen. I don't know, I don't know if the DOJ is gonna do it. This might prompt them to do it. I'm telling you, if you start threatening to murder people, they will move. And they'll collect chatter on the wire too. They're not gonna let you murder him. I'm telling you, they're not gonna let it happen. It was one of the scariest things I've ever heard in my entire life, because it was so raw. Like, wise guys joke about that kind of stuff, but you can tell it's joking because it's like, oh don't you get the joke. That was not a joke. And it wasn't Italian either, it was Irish. Because first of all, the Italian mob would never talk like that. On a fucking Twitter space? Are you out of your fucking mind? No, this was some fucking cowboy shit. It's really bad. It makes me not want to do this anymore. I've never had this feeling about anything we've covered. I need a minute. I don't think there's anything I can say. I don't think there's any systemic solution I can offer you. I don't think there's any plan I have. I think you should just pray. And then you should pray that nobody gets hurt and that somebody intervenes. Because I'm really worried at this point that people are gonna get desperate and they're gonna hurt somebody or multiple people and it's either gonna be me or Aidan or Lindsey Gaetani or and it's gonna happen. It's gonna be it's gonna look like something else, but it's gonna be very bad. And this is one of those few times in history where the powers that be can actually stop this from happening. I always thought they're just talking about it was enough. Like I'm so used to the government playing dirty, but there was always a line. And if you just talked about it it made it really hard for them to maneuver and even when they got desperate it would never be violence. It would always be like smears. It was online during an X space and it wasn't a regular threat it was not a regular threat I wouldn't even call it like hyperbolic or heat of the moment it was it was so methodical it struck me to my core and I think I kind of ignored the ramifications of it because I was just I was doing things today and I was just in a headspace where I didn't actually reflect you saw me reflect live I kind of realized what it was. It wasn't just a threat. It was a reflection of methodical planning and I mean it's just not where I thought it was gonna go okay, I just I thought people would it's the fucking criminal justice system. It changed several times over the months and especially now I am full time but this is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is sticking with what you choose. Whatever your own routine may look like, it is important to understand it will inevitably require sacrifice. --- The next thing once you have established a draft framework of your routine is ensuring you will actually stick to that routine. Something I implemented which I found particularly beneficial was the concept of a Pre-Mortem plan. This involves creating several scenarios of a future in which you have failed and working backwards from each of these to find where it went wrong. Here is a video which explains it fully: When I did this I came up with 3 scenarios as well as prevention and cure for each. In the 6 months that followed each scenario presented at some point but I was able to catch them early due to having done this. The last thing is to not over complicate this, don't hyper focus on systems and loose momentum optimizing each detail. Just ensure you do the fucking work. I was a little guilty of the above at times, trying to craft the perfect routine. In reality the person who just gets up, drinks too much coffee and works his ass off out performs the workflow perfectionist who visualizes and repeats affirmations, any day of the week. --- Next you need somewhere to store your notes, journal your trades and build your knowledge. For me this was Obsidian but I have also used Notion before and it is an equally viable option. Whichever one of these you choose be warned you will inevitably want to bang your head against a wall trying to use them for the first few days, but they will both click pretty quick and are 100% better options the word document or paper alternative. The next step is vigorous backtesting, you can use the trading view tool but I think trade Zella offers a more use friendly option if you pay for the subscription. Especially as it allows you to change timeframes without skipping ahead to candle close time of the timeframe you change too ( like Trading view does ) *my only note would be that their LTF/Micro TF data feed with be different to brokerage charts you will use on Trading view, to start with though you should not be going low enough that this is an issue. When you backtest in this context, treat it like real trading. That means journal and logging like you would if real cash was on the line. Take time, do not rush and focus on quality. Stick to BTC, ETH, Major FX pairs or indices as these assets are less reliant on confluence, backtesting a shitcoin is near useless as whether levels work or not will be highly dependent on Majors PA. Go on HTF, scroll back a couple years and try not too look at chart while doing so and then begin. Start with HTF analysis and work down to 2H or wherever you feel comfortable, chart it fully and then identify setups. Make rough notes / plans and then press play, execute the setups as they hit, log and journal trade management as well as observations and key notes. It is very important to not cheat when you do this, do not skip back and adjust your stoploss because it hit by 0.1%, do not skip back and adjust plan because you missed a block and your TP got frontrun. Instead these are the things you journal, embrace these mistakes because they are the cheapest mistakes you are going to make. Grind this, do it for hours, put some music on and enjoy. To start with focus on HTF's, as you get better and start netting $ on paper you can drop the timeframes and increase the difficulty. HTF = Normal, MTF = Medium, LTF = Hard. Even if you do not intend to day trade, learning how to read the lower TF's that force you to think faster, harder and prepare you for lower win rates / loss streaks can greatly improve your ability on higher TF's. While you are doing this as you start to have concepts click you now want to build up your real trading experience, take a sum of money that you care about but will be okay loosing and dedicate this to live trading. Start taking real trades and expect net losses in the beginning. This is where you will make you 2nd cheapest mistakes. This is also where you can begin to learn about your psychology. You may encounter some elements already in backtesting but the real market is where true colours really start to show. Mental issues are inevitable and part of the game, get used to them and start working to identify and fix them. Reading and applying books like Trading in the Zone and Mental Game of Trading are important and will help a lot but there is no easy fix, for some stuff you I believe you just have to get used to it and it goes away with experience. Losses suck at the beginning but after you loose 100 times you starting getting pretty numb to it, same goes for the winners. To accelerate the learning process, build connections and get advice there is also always the option of private groups, while I never personally chose this route and committed to learning everything through my own endeavours there is no denying that having nearly all the information you need structured and compiled in one place is valuable and can save time. Beyond this having access to real time thoughts and opinions of profitable traders can accelerate performance, however it carries the risk of being a double edged sword if not used properly, if relying on it like a crutch and using it as a substitute for real work you will not succeed. With that said if you take it for what it is, a learning opportunity then I believe it can be very beneficial. I am not a member of, nor affiliated with any paid group. There are now many options available within the community, all run by different people with different styles, tailored to different needs. If I was to make a recommendation though, as a non-member, it would be Albert & Co's 618'ers simply due to the diversity in styles of the traders running it and results I have seen from members I know personally. It is important that as you start to trade with real capital you reduce noise in your social feeds or eliminate it all together. You do not need 5 different opinions, you also do not need 2 people telling you the same thing in their own way so you feel re-assured. What you do need is to develop your independent thinking as a trader and be comfortable making different decisions to others, even traders ahead of yourself if it fits with your system or understanding of market. Taur here is perhaps an exception as this is who you are learning from but down the line a real test of your own ability and independence will be being able to stick with your own plan even when it differs from his. Don't get me wrong, counter trading him is retarded but you must learn to adapt his gift to your own style. This will make sense at some point. The next stage is taking your understanding of specific concepts to higher level as you simultaneously snowball experience. Look back through your journal and review where you lost money and made money, do not over extrapolate from a small sample but start to take notes and observe if trends in performance emerge. This is the beginning of the transition to self reliance, you now understand the strategy but must learn for yourself when and where it works. Here you can also learn more nuanced secondary concepts such as VSA, orderflow etc and add these to your game where appropriate. Do NOT get lost in the sauce though and remember mastery of basics is key. IMO a big focus should be understanding correlation thoroughly but especially on HTF's this is the most important thing and what triggers the majority of large swings where most of your cash will be made and losses recovered. Some people will disagree with me here but IMO you should also not be *focusing* on Odd TF's. Charlie Munger reveals why smart people wreck their own decisions without ever noticing it happening: He built a career-long list of the exact mental glitches that trip up geniuses and fools alike, and laid it all out in one Harvard talk. It is one of the most quietly devastating things you will ever watch: 1. Nobody respects incentives enough, not even the people who study them. Munger spent a lifetime near the top of his field and still got surprised. "Well I think I've been in the top 5% of my age cohort all my life in understanding the power of incentives, and all my life I've underestimated it." If the master of the subject keeps underestimating incentives, everyone else is doing it worse. 2. FedEx couldn't fix its night shift until it fixed the paycheque. He loved this story because it proves structure beats persuasion. "The heart and soul of the integrity of the system is that all the packages have to be shifted rapidly in one central location each night. And the system has no integrity if the whole shift can't be done fast." They tried everything except changing how people got paid. Once they paid by the shift instead of the hour, the problem vanished. 3. A skilled surgeon can talk himself into hurting people for money and believe every word of it. This is the darkest lesson in the whole talk. A Nebraska doctor kept removing healthy gallbladders for years before anyone stopped him. Munger asked a colleague if the man knew what he was doing. "Tell me, did he think, here's a way for me to exercise my talents," this guy was very skilled technically, "And make a high living by doing a few maimings and murders every year, along with some frauds?" And he said, "Hell no, Charlie. He thought that the gallbladder was the source of all medical evil, and if you really love your patients, you couldn't get that organ out rapidly enough." Incentives don't just bend behaviour, they bend belief. 4. Even a brilliant mind can turn into a one-trick pony. Munger used B.F. Skinner, one of Harvard's most important scientists, as the cautionary tale. "What gummed up Skinner's reputation is that he developed a case of what I always call man-with-a-hammer syndrome, to the man with a hammer, every problem tends to look pretty much like a nail." Genius doesn't protect you from tunnel vision. It just makes the tunnel vision more convincing. 5. Denial is not weakness, it is a universal human default setting. A mother who lost her son at sea simply refused the fact of it. "This first really hit me between the eyes when a friend of our family had a super-athlete, super-student son who flew off a carrier in the north Atlantic and never came back, and his mother, who was a very sane woman, just never believed that he was dead." As Munger put it plainly elsewhere in the talk, the reality is too painful to bear, so you just distort it until it's bearable. Everyone does this. Founders do it about failing products. Investors do it about failing bets. 6. Taking something away hurts people far more than giving them the same thing helps them. He used his own dog to make the point unforgettable. "I took the Munger dog, lovely harmless dog. The one way, the only way to get that dog to bite you was to try and take something out of its mouth after it was already there." He followed it with a neighbour's blood feud over a three-foot pine tree blocking a sliver of harbour view. "People are really crazy about minor decrements down." Founders who cut a perk or a title learn this the hard way. 7. Boards of directors almost never stop a leader who has gone off the rails. This is the line every investor on X should screenshot. "They only act, again the power of incentives, they only act when it gets so bad that it starts making them look foolish, or threatening legal liability to them. That's Munger's rule." Governance sounds like a safeguard. In practice it is mostly theatre until the risk to the board itself becomes personal. 8. Simply being visible changes behaviour, no persuasion required. He picked the most familiar brand on earth to prove it. "Ask the Coca-Cola company, which has raised availability to a secular religion, if availability changes behavior. You'll drink a hell of a lot more Coke if it's always available." Distribution is not a nice-to-have. It is the lever. 9. A crowd of decent people will watch someone suffer and do nothing, because everyone else is doing nothing. Munger used the murder of Kitty Genovese as his sharpest example of social proof gone wrong. "All these people, I don't know, 50, 60, 70 of them just sort of sat and did nothing while she was slowly murdered. Now one of the explanations is that everybody looked at everybody else and nobody else was doing anything, and so there's automatic social proof that the right thing to do is nothing." Silence in a room is not neutral. It is a signal, and it spreads. 10. The real danger is never one bias alone, it's several firing at once. When asked which single tendency mattered most, he refused to pick just one. "I would say the one thing that causes the most trouble is when you combine a bunch of these together, you get this lollapalooza effect." Individually these glitches are survivable.
