Los Angeles deputy was parked at the Paramount Sheriff’s Sub-Station when he heard a banging noise. The deputy went to investigate the noise and saw 34-year-old Juan Alvarez armed with a machete and walking toward him at a rapid pace. Came across this awesome innovation to harness the power of the wind through tulip shaped wind turbines ! Flower Turbines, based in the US and the Netherlands is installing small flower shaped windmills which pose no danger to birds and other wildlife, particularly in urban settings. The company claims that they create very low noise which is undetectable to humans. This “eco-art” turbine is supposedly cost effective & easy to install making wind energy available for everybody. We must look at these options at #TNClimateMission
