My office has heard from hundreds of residents with concerns about the snow and ice buildup and removal. We are continuing to elevate your concerns to DPW and we are working to get crews and plows to your streets as soon as possible. I know this is frustrating and we thank you for your patience — DPW will get to everyone, but it is taking longer than usual due to the freezing temperatures icing the snow. Reminder: Please call 311 with requests if your street needs to be plowed. Let’s look out for each other and please shovel your sidewalk to help make sure there is room for people to walk and for neighbors who use wheelchairs to get through.

This year, for Sam's birthday fundraiser, we are returning to the beginning. Please join me as we celebrate Sam's birthday by once again raising funds to benefit The Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh. Over the next four weeks, we will hear stories about The Lyceum from those who have had the honour of treading her boards, from those who have worked there, and those that love her so. A great effort has been made by various people to try and stop this from happening. We need to save the farmers and ranchers” “The verbiage in the bill is that they are going to require them to use less water, water that has been already granted to them from generations past, or they're going to require them to use more water saving technologies. But who is going to pay for that? It sure as hell isn't going to be the legislators, it's not going to be the senators, it's not going to be the governor. It's going to be the taxpayers and the farmers and ranchers who are going to have to equip for this. So right now we need your help. We need you to call all of the state senators, we need to call all the city offices, we need to send as many emails as we possibly can. Leave the farmers out of this bill. There should be no reason that they're included in this whatsoever —- So if you guys can please make the calls, please send the emails. Tens of thousand of internally displaced people are currently crossing from the South of Gaza back to their homes in the North, some laying eyes on their cities for the first time in 15 months. And finally, after days of waiting and finding a place in line, at 7am today Al-Rashid Street was opened for pedestrians to make the trek home. We are so honored to be there every step of the way. The Sameer Project has been planning for this moment. Planning to support, help, and celebrate those retuning. We supplied water tanks on a truck to those going on foot, 8,000 liters of fresh drinking water to prepare those for their journey. We can’t stress enough how much we need you right now. We need to prepare for the reported 650,000 Palestinians retuning to the northern area. Water, food, additional necessary aid, we have the process and the systems to support. Please contribute to allow us to help.
