How they created panic and fear. Rahul Gandhi : Basically, Gas is going to be a problem, petrol is going to be a problem, oil fuel is going to be a problem. The reality : 📌India cuts excise duty on petrol and diesel by ₹10 per litre. 📌Retail fuel prices remain unchanged despite the tax cut. 📌No petrol diesel price hike in states ruled by the BJP. 📌India holds more than 250 million barrels of crude oil and refined petroleum products. 📌This stock is enough to meet the country's needs for about 7-8 weeks. 📌The fuel is stored in different places such as storage tanks, underground caverns, pipelines, and offshore vessels. 📌India also has strategic petroleum reserves located at Mangalore Strategic Petroleum Reserve, Padur Strategic Petroleum Reserve, and Visakhapatnam Strategic Petroleum Reserve. 📌These reserves include different fuels such as crude oil, petrol, diesel, aviation turbine fuel (ATF), LPG, and LNG. 📌Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi stated that India has been granted access to the Strait of Hormuz. 🟥Of all the states in India, Himachal Pradesh Congress government increased the price of fuel by Rs 5 per litre due to the imposition of a new orphan and widow cess on petrol and diesel,in March 2026. 🟥Premium petrol (such as XP-95) increased by approximately ₹2–₹2.35 per litre across Karnataka in late March 2026, including in Bengaluru, due to supply constraints.

Pehle Indian, Phir Oil! As the Indian Oil & Gas family celebrates the 65th Indian Oil foundation day, I wish to highlight an often ignored facet of our energy journey and the silent contributions of our energy soldiers in ensuring that India always keeps ticking, never short of petrol, diesel, never short of gas cylinders, come cyclones, storms, landslides or floods. In the last one year, floods in Assam, unprecedented rains and subsequent landslides in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Kerala, different parts of our country have unfortunately been hit by natural calamities. While the brave personnel of NDRF India I राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल 🇮🇳, #SDRF supported by other local and central forces worked round the clock to ensure relief and rescue, not many people notice the work in the background that our Oil Companies do on a war footing like #GoodCorporateCitizens to ensure all possible support. ATF supplies were rushed to the forward helipads from places as far as Dehradun, Saraswa and Mohali as stranded locals and tourists had to be rescued and evacuated from hilly areas of Uttarakhand by air due to landslides on the roads. A 24*7 war room was set up Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG staffed by senior officials and our Oil Marketing Companies lead by Indian Oil Corp Ltd to ensure that affected people reached their destinations as quickly as possible. Operations to rescue the stranded was done in a #MissionMode, to ensure that whole of government approach enunciated by PM Narendra Modi Ji, came alive at a time of concern for all of us. Khata-Khat badh gayi mehengai! After not fulfilling the promises of transferring Rs 8500/month to a woman of each family, Congress ruled Karnataka government has saddled the people of Karnataka with the burden of paying Rs 3/litre more for petrol and diesel in the state. After this decision, people of Karnataka would be forced to pay higher amounts for food items, clothing, medicines and all items of basic necessities as fuel prices directly impact prices of all goods. Such a decision just after elections have been concluded, exposes the hypocrisy of the Congress which talks about mehengai but levies approximately Rs 8litre-Rs 12/litre additional VAT in comparison with BJP ruled states. With this hike, petrol in Karnataka is now Rs 8.21/litre more expensive than both BJP-run governments in UP and Gujarat. The price gap is even more staggering if Karnataka is compared with BJP-governed Arunachal Pradesh where the party has come back to power strongly. The petrol prices in Karnataka are over Rs 12/litre higher than in Arunachal. The price gap for diesel is Rs 8.59/litre between the two states with Arunachal being much less expensive. During the last three years of global energy turmoil, the NDA government led by PM Narendra Modi Ji deftly diversified India’s crude oil purchases to ensure that petrol prices actually decreased by about 14% and diesel prices fell by nearly 11% during November 2021 -May 2024 period. During the same period, US saw petrol prices soar 29%, while neighbours Pakistan and Sri Lanka faced severe financial stress due to spike in global crude prices. Additionally, to maintain availability and affordability of transport fuels, Modi government made substantial and timely cut in excise duty in November 2021 and followed it up with another cut in May 2022. The Central govt reduced petrol and diesel prices by ₹5 per litre and ₹10 per litre, respectively, in November 2021. Following up in May 2022, petrol and diesel prices were further cut by ₹8 per litre and ₹6 per litre, respectively. Again on March 14 this year, the OMCs played a vital role in reducing prices further by Rs 2/litre. The BJP-run state governments aligned with the pro-people policies and reduced sales tax on transport fuels to further cut rates for the public and rein in inflationary pressures. For instance, petrol prices in Congress-ruled Telangana is Rs 12.76/litre higher than in UP. The difference in diesels prices between these two states is also significant at Rs 7.89/litre. Similarly, the petrol prices are Rs 9.29/ litre higher in Trinamool Congress-run West Bengal compared with BJP-run Gujarat. PM Modi Ji’s visionary leadership ensured that while the world was facing fuel price surge due to a war in Europe, India remained the only country during that period where petrol and diesel prices went down. #Khatakhat #Hypocrisy

Economic Survey ▪️Pegs GDP growth for next fiscal FY27 at 6.8-7.2%, this is lower than current fiscal ▪️Projects medium-term growth potential at 7% ▪️Geo political scenario could disrupt foreign capital inflows and consequently impact the Rupee ▪️External environment uncertain, India needs to be cautious ▪️Drying up foreign capital making the Rupee unstable ▪️Net surplus in services and remittances not enough to offset trade deficit ▪️Urges private sector to accelerate investment and job creation ▪️Indian firms’ outward investment rises from $14 bn to $24 bn in FY25 ▪️Manufacturing estimated to contribute 12.8% of GDP in FY26 ▪️Cautions against a bigger economic crisis than 2008 due to overheated AI valuations ▪️Need to retain students beyond Class 8 ▪️India’s pulses, maize and cereal yields remain below global averages ▪️Traffic and expensive houses are roadblocks for development ▪️Policy reshape needed for gig workers Some questions arise on the basis of what the Economic Survey says 👇 👉What are we celebrating? A sub 7% growth rate? 👉Survey estimates FY26 GDP growth at 7.4% and nominal GDP growth for the same period at just 8%. Why is the difference between nominal and real GDP growth rate only 0.6%? 👉Rupee has depreciated by over 6.5%. So a 8% nominal GDP growth with 6.5% Rupee depreciation means dollar GDP growth of just 1.5%. Why are we not worried? 👉For Viksit Bharat by 2047 - India needs a GDP growth of at least 8.2% every year for the next 21 years. What are we doing about it? 👉Finally someone in the govt accepting that the Rupee has been falling, but blaming it all on geo political uncertainty. But who will explain why the Rupee is the worst performing Asian currency especially when the dollar has weakened? 👉Why are foreign portfolio investors pulling money out of India? What is the plan to save the Rupee from this withdrawal? 👉Why is net FDI negative for 4 months in a row? 👉Why is India’s private sector not investing in India? 👉Why are Indian corporates investing more overseas than in India (outward investment of Indian cos rises from $14 bn to $24 bn in FY25)? 👉Why is manufacturing’s contribution to overall GDP still languishing at 12.8% - down from 15.6% under UPA and way below the targeted 25% of GDP? 👉Why have Make In India, Production-Linked Incentives (PLIs), failed to boost manufacturing? 👉Modi govt had announced 3 Employment-Linked-Incentive schemes (ELIs) in FY25 Budget to create more than 2 crore jobs. How many jobs have been created? 👉Govt had also announced an incentive scheme for 1 crore internships. Why did less than 10,000 people intern in the last 18 months? 👉Survey shows Corporate tax contribution to the total tax kitty declining, personal income tax collection rising. Why are all incentives then for wealthy corporates and not the ordinary tax payers? 👉The survey’s acceptance that students beyond Class 8 are dropping out should ring alarm bells for our education system. Does the Modi govt care which has shut down 90,000 Govt schools and consistently reduced education budget over the years? 👉Survey says India’s pulses, maize and cereal yields remain below global averages - what is being done to make agriculture more remunerative? 👉Survey says traffic and expensive houses are roadblocks for development - will the unliveable urban cities saddled with traffic, waste and pollution wake the govt up?

Let alone Women's Safety, Mamata Banerjee's inept Administration can't even protect an elephant, that too after remaining complicit while Hon'ble Supreme Court of India's Order was being violated. A pregnant elephant gets murdered by 'Hula party' (squads comprising people, armed with searchlights, flaming torches and crackers, deployed to scare away wild elephants back to the forest, who have strayed into human habitation), after being speared by burning iron rods in full view of the WB Forest Department personnels. The mother elephant along with it's calf strayed into Jhargram town on Thursday. The mother elephant, believed to be pregnant, was struggling to walk and wriggling in pain after the burning rod stuck above its hind legs, and eventually collapsed on the ground. --------------------------------- VIOLATION OF THE HON’BLE SUPREME COURT'S ORDER --------------------------------- In the Prerna Singh Bindra vs Union Of India on 4 December, 2018, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India Ordered several restrictions regarding the use of fireballs and spikes to drive away elephants. Here are the excerpts of the Order involving the State of West Bengal:- "We have heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned counsel for the State of West Bengal. In an affidavit dated 12th October, 2018, the Union of India has annexed a Report of the Inspector General of Forests (Project Elephant Division) in compliance of the order dated 17th September, 2018 passed by this Court. In the Report, with regard to the State of West Bengal, it is stated in paragraphs 7 to 9 as follows: “7.The West Bengal State Forest Department have categorically informed that the hula parties are being controlled by the Department staff and they are not using any inhuman methods especially throwing fire balls etc. while driving away the elephants from the crop fields. No spiked barricades or pillars are erected in West Bengal for control of crop raiding by elephants." "Learned counsel for the State of West Bengal further says that the State of West Bengal will consult the Wildlife Institute of India for advice on the use of commonly used repellent methods as well as new repellent methods and deterrent methods mentioned in the Guidelines for the purpose of reducing, if not, eliminating human elephant conflicts." "The statement of learned counsel for the State of West Bengal is taken on record and it is made clear that the State of West Bengal is bound by that statement. With regard to the use of mashaals, it is submitted that this is the only method presently available to the State of West Bengal and the migration of elephants is due to start any day and perhaps it may not be possible to implement any other method to avoid human elephant conflict. As an emergency measure, under the direct control of the Forest Department, mashaals may be used for the time being only to avoid any deaths and crop damage that may take place and ensure the proper movement of elephants in the corridors. The mashaals be used only in an emergency. As far as spikes of all kinds are concerned, it is categorically stated by learned counsel for the State of West Bengal that they are not being used and will not be used." ---------------------------------------- The West Bengal Government is a total failure at all ends. They can't even keep their promise which they made before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. This killing of the elephant at Jhargram is not only tragic but a complete violation of the Hon’ble Supreme Court's Order. I would expect that responsibility is fixed and the guilty should be punished appropriately as per the provisions of the Law. #BhaskorONews!! 🔹Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Ziyambi Ziyambi (ZZ) has officially cancelled his plans to lead the Zimbabwean delegation to the 61st Session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, which commences on 23 February 2026. In a significant shift of priorities, the Minister has instead travelled to Kenya for a urgent consultation with their Chief Strategist, the exiled fugitive Prof Jonathan Moyo on (1) how to rescue his poorly planned Bill which is massively failing to gain traction due to significant resistance from the Zimbabwean people and (2) on how to rescue their blowing up strategy of successfully completing their state capture of the Zimbabwe Military after they successfully imposed General Tapfumaneyi as Commander of the ZNA. 🔸General Tapfumaneyi’s task has been left in tatters after the recent expose of the top 15 generals having accepted cash bribes of US$200,000 and a Land Cruiser each which were handed to them to them on Wednesday 18 Feb 2026 at State House by ED while at the same time on the 17th of Feb 2026 salary run for the rest of military totaling an estimated 40,985, got paid a monthly salary averaging $300 for the month and some of them after unlawful deductions, hand negative balances on their salaries. This is continuing to be a developing situation as the ground from the junior ranks is swelling at this grand corruption and abuse and worsening conditions of service. 🔹While Ziyambi had previously succeeded in clandestinely "smuggling" Professor Moyo into Zimbabwe for high-level consultations, Moyo has recently refused to travel from his base in Kenya, citing his fears of the military intervention. This refusal has forced Ziyambi to abandon the international human rights forum at the last minute to meet Moyo on Kenyan soil. 🔸Jonathan Moyo is now under pressure to come up with appropriate advise and propaganda of how ED and his goons can rescue this collapsing deck of cards on the ill conceived amendments and the boomerang State Capture attempt of the Zimbabwe Military whose junior ranks have seen through the madness and grand corruption underway in broad daylight. ♦️In as much as Professor Jonathan Moyo together with Advocate Thembinkosi Magwaliba are the Chief architects of Amendment Bill No. 3, he remains resentful toward ED Mnangagwa over the death of his father during Gukurahundi, which Mnangagwa led. He also harbours bitterness regarding the Tsholotsho Declaration, where he felt Mnangagwa abandoned him and he never recovered . Furthermore, Moyo is reportedly on a milestone-based payroll, he has been paid for the gazetting of the Amendment Bill, while advocate Magwaliba cries for not getting his full payment from Ziyambi and team , his next payment, contingent on the Bill's passage, will facilitate his return from self-imposed exile to being be the minister of Foreign affairs 🫣🤣. 🔹This is a developing situation and our eyes and ears are on it… meanwhile below is Commander Weather Report’s response to his junior officers while he is busy enjoying the USD200k & the comfort of his Land-Cruiser from Weak-Nail. 📍

🚨🇦🇺 BONDI DEATH TOLL HITS 16 - ALBANESE FACES RECKONING OVER IGNORED WARNINGS The deadliest domestic terror attack in Australian history just handed PM Anthony Albanese a political crisis he can't talk his way out of. 16 people killed, dozens hospitalized at the Hanukkah celebration. And now the details are surfacing that make this worse: Australia's antisemitism envoy released recommendations to combat rising attacks 5 months ago. Albanese didn't implement them. The gunmen: 1 arrived in Sydney in 1998 on a student visa. The other, his son, was investigated in 2019 for association with an Islamic State cell. The father was licensed to own 6 "longarms" weapons, was a gun-club member, and held a firearm permit for 10 years. Authorities knew. They investigated. They gave him a gun license anyway. Political fallout: Opposition leader Sussan Ley: "There is palpable anger because antisemitism in Australia has been left to fester. We've seen a clear failure to keep Jewish Australians safe." She offered to reconvene parliament immediately to pass legislation implementing the July 10 antisemitism report's recommendations - risk-grading campuses, tying compliance to funding, updating hate-speech laws, improving law enforcement responses. Netanyahu went nuclear during a government meeting: "You did nothing to curb the cancer cells growing inside your country. You took no action." He ascribed the attack to Australia calling for a Palestinian state. The pattern Albanese ignored: October 2024: 2 masked men torched Lewis' Continental Kitchen in Bondi after dousing it with accelerant. November 2024: Assailants sprayed anti-Israel graffiti and set vehicles alight in Woollahra, damaging 10+ cars and buildings. December 2024: Offenders broke into Adass Israel Synagogue, spread accelerant in what police called a probable terrorist attack. Days after October 7, 2023, a demonstration outside Sydney Opera House saw protesters chant antisemitic obscenities while some flew Hamas and Hezbollah flags - as the Opera House projected the Israeli flag in memory of murdered Israelis. Albanese's response: Focus on gun laws. Emergency meeting agreed to strengthen gun laws by accelerating work on a National Firearms Register and limiting firearms per individual. Australia's antisemitism envoy Jillian Segal: "It's been seeping into society for many years and we have not come out strongly enough against it. The Jewish community is terrified and some people don't want to leave their homes." What experts say: John Coyne, Australian Strategic Policy Institute: "The real question will be around whether sufficient work was done to address the rising tide of antisemitism across Australia." Australia needs a major investigation of the 18 months leading up to the attack - it has "crossed the Rubicon" on free speech and needs to redefine hate speech, politically motivated violence and terrorism. During that period, "awful but lawful" was used by groups to spread antisemitic messages that didn't hit prosecution thresholds. The trajectory: Albanese rode to a landslide election victory in May while shrugging off criticism of his handling of antisemitic attacks. 5 months later, he's standing over 15 bodies at Bondi Beach explaining why he didn't act on warnings. The gunman's son was investigated for ISIS ties in 2019. His father held legal gun permits. Jewish businesses were firebombed for over 1 year. An envoy released specific recommendations in July. 16 people are dead because someone decided all of that wasn't urgent. Source: Bloomberg, Reuters, The Guardian

.World Health Organization (WHO) has received troubling reports of increasing hostilities and ongoing evacuation orders near the vital Al-Aqsa Hospital in the Middle Area of #Gaza, which according to the facility’s director forced over 600 patients and most health workers to leave. Their locations are not currently known. Earlier today, World Health Organization (WHO) and UN Humanitarian visited Al-Aqsa and saw large numbers of wounded people being brought in for urgent treatment. The health facility reported immense needs, especially health workers, medical supplies and beds. But staff said their greatest need was for their hospital, and its staff, patients and families there, to be protected from strikes and hostilities. Three months into this conflict, it is inconceivable that this most essential need—the protection of health care—is not assured. No hospitals are fully functioning in Northern Gaza, where another WHO mission was cancelled today due to dangers and lack of necessary permissions. Elsewhere in Gaza, a mere handful of health facilities operate. At Al-Aqsa, WHO staff saw sickening scenes of people of all ages being treated on blood-streaked floors and in chaotic corridors. An unidentified child laid dead, partially covered by a sheet, on a bed. Other injured were prostrate on the floor, being stepped over by the health staff and families. A man’s harrowing groans, either from pain or anguish, cut through the emergency ward’s commotion. The bloodbath in Gaza must end. Al-Aqsa is extremely short-staffed. Partners at Medical Aid for Palestinians and IRC - International Rescue Committee announced today that due to increasing military activity around Al-Aqsa Hospital they have been forced to withdraw their staff working at the hospital and cease activities. On 6 Jan MSF International took similar action due to evacuation orders in areas close to the hospital. During today’s mission, we were informed that evacuation orders and lack of safety had forced most health staff to leave. Tonight’s reports indicate that only 5 doctors remain. Hospital management said health workers had no food. The WHO team delivered medical supplies to support 4500 patients needing dialysis for 3 months and 500 patients requiring trauma care. WHO is planning to facilitate the much-needed deployment of an emergency medical team to support the overstretched doctors and nurses of Al-Aqsa. This will only be possible in a secure environment. In recent weeks, the lowest number of daily casualties received at the hospital was 14 fatalities and 48 people suffering trauma. But in past days this has increased markedly, with over 120 trauma cases and dozens of dead arriving per day due to increased shelling, gunshot wounds, crush injuries from collapsed buildings, and other war-related trauma. Al-Aqsa is the most important hospital remaining in Gaza’s Middle Area and must remain functional, and protected, to deliver its lifesaving services. Further erosion of its functionality cannot be permitted – doing so in the face of such trauma, injury and humanitarian suffering would be a moral and medical outrage. #CeasefireNOW.

I’m sharing this for one reason and one reason alone, it needs to be entered into the historical record. Even if you don’t listen to the clip, please read on. In an age where attention span in limited to the sound bite narratives, few will take the time to listen to this detailed report by the Independent Commission of Inquiry read by Chris Guinness, former chief spokesperson for The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. The Gaza conflict now officially has a name ‘THE PALESTINIAN GENOCIDE’. We can sit here all day and have a ping pong discussion with whataboutism, but that’s become a common tactic to distract from the uncomfortable truth. Myself and a small group of others have long called this a genocide, but even after the International Criminal Court indicted Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes, Western governments, along with many in the media have chosen to turn the other way as tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians have been murdered at the hands of a government seeking unparalleled retribution for a terrorist war crime against their own citizens. Few would argue, that the October 7th 2923 attack was anything other than a barbaric act of terrorism against innocent Israelis, many of whom were sympathetic to the Palestinian cause. However, nothing, and I mean NOTHING will ever excuse the Israeli response supported by Western governments to embark upon a genocidal attempt to erase the Palestinians from Gaza. The intention from the very outset was to embark on a campaign that would see the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Gaza and the opening gambit of a campaign to deliver the long held ambition of a greater Israel masquerading as an act of self defense. This has been a genocidal act of retribution that will remain a stain on the Israeli people that can never be erased. The Iran War and the Israeli incursion into Southern Lebanon is all part of a carefully crafted plan of action that Benjamin Netanyahu has long dreamed of, but never been able to convince an American president to support until a useful idiot called Trump came along. I know, as do those of us that were attempting to point out what was happening, it has been a long lonely road to get people to listen to the uncomfortable truth few were prepared to accept. While we’re not there yet, far more people are awake to the truth, even though there remains a sense of reluctance to admit they were wrong. Truth never shines brighter than when the impact shifts from a far away place to your doorstep, having an impact directly on those who chose to turn away until the result affects them at the grocery store or the petrol pump. Or when it’s their son or daughter is sent to fight an illegal war justified once again with lies and deceit. The pieces of a dead child of a Palestinian mother carried by an in shock father in a carrier bag to the hospital in search of a dream of making his little girl whole again, become a casket of an American mother grieving over the pieces of her dead son sent to war on yet another lie, by a president who simply saw him as acceptable collateral damage in his quest for self enrichment. A president who campaigned as a ‘no more wars’ president has now become drunk on the power and wealth that he believes endless conflicts can deliver as he takes America into an ‘end of days scenario’ where the only one left standing is China. We are witnessing a slow motion economic and geopolitical car crash in real time, as we prepare for what seems to be an inevitable boots on the ground engagement with an insurgent army numbering a million, with a level of arrogance prepared to risk the slaughter of American service personnel. Trump is a five times draft dodging president attempting to win an unwinnable war he claims to have already won, it is lunacy in action. If you can make that make sense to yourself, can I respectfully suggest you seek some psychiatric help? 🎥 TikTok -

SORRY PRASHANT KISHOR: YOU ARE WRONG! ( An Open Letter) Dear Prashant Prashant Kishor Either you have got your basic facts completely wrong, or you are blatantly misleading the people of India ( reference your-enclosed interview to BBC News). My rejoinder: 1) India’s Muslim population is 14% but according to you it is 18%. Wow! Considering your entire political career started off as a psephologist, that gargantuan 4% difference that you glossed over is professional sacrilege. Psephologists are rated on their exactitude. You fail the test. There is no margin of error, Mr Kishor when you are indulging in a serious conversation post a historic election that has reduced an authoritarian government to its knees. 2) Your attempt to diminish Congress party’s impressive 23% aggregate vote-share in the 2024 elections has again got a luminous distortion. Again, it is elementary, Mr Watson. The rise in Congress vote-share by nearly 3-4% is staggering, because it fought in only 328 seats compared to 464 in 2014 where it got 19.4% vote-share. Why did you not tell that to BBC News? Why would you make such a brazen omission? 3) Your statement that Congress has a “ free vote-bank of 20% minorities votes” is so preposterous that it could qualify for the Oscars in Exaggerated Falsehoods. Muslims vote for regional parties too in bulk; the perfect case being UP and Bihar, among others. The Sikhs vote for different political parties including the BJP. Several Christians have voted for the BJP in Goa, Kerala and the North East. And the bulk of Jains probably vote for the BJP alone. Bottom-line: You lied. But why? Why did you not elaborate on the reasons why minorities are apprehensive and frightened of the hate-mongering and divisive politics of the BJP? 4) FYI, Congress won 52 of its 99 seats from 7 low-Muslim populated states. PK, you forgot to do your homework. Now, the truth that the people of India must know. The real reason why you are so unambiguously hostile to the Congress is because you saw yourself as a savior of the Grand Old Party once it was annihilated in the 2024 general elections, like PM Modi and others too who thought it was a fait accompli. You tried that in your famous “TMC-Goa model” in the assembly elections of 2022 which flopped miserably. Your attempt to rebrand TMC as a national alternative to the INC was instantly abandoned. Mamata Bannerjee was an unsuspecting victim of your Machiavellian game to destroy Congress for the pursuit of your personal ambitions. It was expected that a demoralized INC would crumble, and you would arrive as a knight in shining armor. There are two things you need to reflect on, Prashant: 1) Why did BJP lose the parliamentary seat of Ayodhya? 2) Why did Congress win both the seats in Manipur? I hereby give you an open challenge to debate with me on national television on the above and more. And by the way, this will hurt, but I predicted 240 seats maximum for the BJP on several occasions, while you were sarcastically asking Indians to keep a glass of water ready for the June 4th 2024 results with the saffron party at 303+. I messaged Karan Thapar after your public meltdown on his show (just like another media-created political superhero) that you had indeed told me yourself over a phone call that Congress would be decimated in Himachal Pradesh . But then you can always deny that. But what you cannot deny is that a celebrated emissary of your team (an intellectual titan and former parliamentarian) wanted me to join TMC with a host of attractive inducements thrown in. I listened to the proposition as any gentleman should, and politely refused. And yet, I was in London when a press release was unethically circulated that I had attended a meeting with the West Bengal CM in attendance. Sorry Prashant , if this sounds a bit personal. But your attempt to mislead Indians is appalling and leaves me with no other option. Cheers! Sanjay

While we were busy working on immediate short term, medium term and long term solutions to the recent flash flooding in some parts of Lagos, my attention was drawn to a simplistic suggestion by Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, an idea driven more by political correctness, cheap attention seeking, and the pursuit of relevance than by genuine problem-solving. Let me quickly highlight a few important considerations in addressing flood-related and other environmental challenges in a city of over 23 million people into the smallest state with just 3,577 square kilometers of land and 186km of coastline atlantic with residents from across the country, and each bringing different environmental and waste management practices. 1/16 Lagos is an aquatic city. Like Venice, Amsterdam/Rotterdam, Bangkok, and Jakarta, much of Lagos sits low and close to the sea. That means heavy rain + high tide can create short-term flooding, even when drains are working. 2/16 Lekki’s floods were a compound event: a fast, heavy downpour happened around the same time as a high tide. When the sea level is high, water can’t leave our drains as quickly. Streets then hold water for a few hours before it recedes. 3/16 For the purpose of enlightening you, this phenomenon is called “tide-locking.” Plainly: when the ocean or lagoon is high, it’s like trying to pour water uphill. Outfalls (where drains meet the lagoon) cannot empty fast, so water backs up. I hope you get that now!? 4/16 Different cities face different problems. Venice fights sea surges with movable gates; the Netherlands makes space for water on land and uses pumps; Bangkok stores stormwater in parks; Lagos’ main issue is heavy rain + high tide on very flat land. 5/16 The right solution to address these climate change-related flash flooding events in Lagos is a three-part approach which the state government is already implementing some: (1) Store water for a short time (water detention), (2) Move water through wider, clear channels, (3) Control backflow with one-way valves and, where needed, pumps. This refines the masterplan to address current climate realities. 6/16 What’s already in motion (2023–2025): maintenance of ~579 km of secondary collectors (693 sites) and ~309 km of primary channels; EFAG rapid-response teams have cleared ~444 km of drains; enforcement has restored 40.3 km of encroached channels; 218 new channels have been awarded for construction, adding ~1,500 km when completed; pumps are now being integrated where topography requires them; and early-warning measures include daily forecasts and water-level monitoring. 7/16 Why water detention matters: it is temporary storage—holding rainwater on a plot, in an estate lake, or a designed basin for a few hours so trunk drains aren’t overwhelmed. It is essentially “queueing” runoff so everything doesn’t arrive at once. 8/16 Why one-way “flap gates” help: they are valves at outfalls that let stormwater discharge to the lagoon but stop high tide from pushing water back into the system. 9/16 When gravity is not enough, we add pumps. In very low areas this creates a ‘polder-style’ cell: water collects in a controlled basin and is pumped out when tide permits. A first installation to address flooding on Lagos Island is undergoing testing at Ilubirin and will be commissioned soon. 10/16 Near-term actions (0–6 months): • Intensify silt and trash clearance at known choke points, especially Ajiran/Agungi. • Install debris screens on key culverts so bottles and plastics don’t block inlets. • Pilot estate lakes and on-plot detention to create spare storage capacity for intense rain events.

I am not a teary preacher. I don’t think I’ve shed tears in the pulpit in the last decade but for a few times. Back in March though, I preached a sermon on Psalm 23 while in a valley myself. I struggled to read the text, and trembled throughout the sermon. As people came forward to receive the Lord’s Supper, my eyes were streaming. It had been an especially difficult season of ministry, and having come out of the pandemic by God’s grace and not a little adrenalin, I felt empty to meet the new challenges. After church, several people checked in on me, wondering if everything was okay (my wife was home sick that Sunday with whatever I had had earlier in the week, but I was glad she wasn’t there). Sadly, I mostly felt ashamed of the tears, and was afraid that the vulnerability which couldn’t be masked would cause members to lose confidence in my ability to lead. I scrambled to send a letter to the church the next day, explaining that the season had been hard, and justifying my tears by appealing to the apostle Paul’s throughout the New Testament. The elders of our church were amazing, and granted me a sabbatical later in the year (which is coming to an end this month). Our family had been going hard for nearly a decade after planting, so we felt the timing was right. I am extremely thankful to the pastors in our presbytery as well as Seminary professors nearby at Westminster Seminary California that have filled our pulpit over the last three months to make my sabbatical possible. Our ruling elders have been spectacular, going above and beyond to minister to the needs of the congregation in my absence. For us, it has been a time to reflect on the last ten years, learn, travel, and rest as a family. I’m excited to return to the pulpit, and covet your prayers for reentry. I share this all to encourage my brother pastors, and their churches: Friends in pastoral ministry, I know how lonely shepherding can be. May the Good Shepherd comfort and keep you. May he lead you by the still waters of rest and refresh your soul. Don’t be ashamed of your weaknesses, nor be afraid of being despised for them. The person who despises you for your weakness shows contempt toward the very thing God intends to use to demonstrate his strength. God teach us to boast in our insufficiencies, and magnify the sufficiency of God’s grace through our weakness. Other people may never know the challenges you and your family have faced, but the Good Shepherd knows, and he hasn’t abandoned you. Take comfort from these words written by Charles Spurgeon to pastors: “…You sometimes may not understand your own experience, and the perfect people may condemn you for having it; but what know they of God’s servants? You and I have to suffer much for the sake of the people of our charge. God’s sheep ramble very far, and we have to go after them; and sometimes the shepherds go where they themselves would never roam if they were not in pursuit of lost sheep. You may be in Egyptian darkness, and you may wonder why such a horror chills your marrow; but you may be altogether in the pursuit of your calling, and be led of the Spirit to a position of sympathy with desponding minds. Expect to grow weaker, brethren, that you may comfort the weak, and so may become masters in Israel in the judgment of others, while, in your own opinion, you are less than the least of all saints.” Friends in churches with faithful pastors, remember that your minister is beset by weakness, just as you are. This enables him to sympathize with you, but it should also enable you to sympathize with him. Welcome your pastor’s weaknesses, and let God minister to you through them. It’s a sign of an unhealthy culture when a church permits no weakness, or awkwardly avoids it; and if God delights to work through our weaknesses, it may also be a way of squelching the Spirit’s work in and through us. Care for your pastors, even as they seek to care for you. If you have a minister who has been serving faithfully for 5-7 years without an extended breather, bring it up in a congregational meeting. Maybe your pastor doesn’t need it, or maybe something like a sabbatical is exactly what he and his family could use. My sabbatical ends Jan 1, and I am excited to be back at our wonderful church with the saints, many of whom have taken an interest in our well-being over the years. It’s a privilege to serve Christ and his bride, weak as we all may be.

Penny, McMuffin And Tina - Why I Make Happy Doggo Videos If you are reading this I’m sure you’ve watched at least one of the videos I make which feature dogs. Hopefully it put a big smile on your face and left you feeling like a positive difference was being made in the world. I wanted to explain the massive importance of these videos… Taking Old Dogs To The Beach 🌴🥥 This week we did the “Old Dogs Beach Day Out”. It featured the OAP dogs who have been battling serious health issues lately and has close to a million views across different sites. McMuffin - Cancer survivor and had to have an eye removed this week Derek - Very old abandoned dog who was close to death on arrival Lady - Senior girl with 2 broken hips who was dying on the streets Snoop - My own rescue who has numerous tumours and a fused spine It was about as joyous a day out as you can imagine. You could see the dogs enjoying every single second as they swam, sunbathed and ate treats. But what is the point of this? Wouldn’t I be better spending the couple of hours it took doing something else like taking dogs to the vet or feeding even more out on the streets? Good question… Videos Help Me Do The “Boring” Stuff For The Dogs These are some of the things that I do in a typical month… Funding the sterilising of over 100 dogs ✂️ Feeding 20,000 meals for street dogs 🥘 Pay for between 20-40 vet visits for sick dogs 🐶 Purchasing preventative medicines for street dogs 💊 Paying for travel to re-home 7-10 dogs in Thailand ⛴️ Although these things are super important and change lives for the better they aren’t always super interesting. I’ve tried making videos about sterilising or vet visits but most people are not interested after they’ve seen it once. I understand that because I would be the exact same personally watching content on social media. I’d have very limited interest in opening Twitter and seeing dogs getting medical procedures or being abused. Most people simply unfollow or mute that sort of content. People know there is suffering but “out of sight, out of mind” is the attitude on social media. But Don’t Dog Suffering Videos Get Donations? Yes. You’ll probably notice that most content around the world from all types of animal charities can be quite gruesome or sad. This is the same with human tragedies. People are much more likely to donate if they see suffering. The need is more immediate and urgent. I wanted to try something completely different and not share gruesome content. Instead of showing content like Sterilisations (Tina below) or horrific injuries (McMuffin below is already operated on and healing) I wanted to share happy content. I wanted to create content that was so happy and upbeat that people would actually want to share it with others. To tell their friends about the plight of the street dogs and maybe even get excited about changing it too. Penny Is The Perfect Example Penny is a tiny little dog that came into my possession recently. The simple facts of her story are horrific… Kept locked up in a tiny box under a house Tortured by a human Broken leg so bad it needed large scale surgery I have videos on my phone of her before the rescue that would leave you sick to your stomach. I couldn’t sleep the night I saw them. I don’t want people to see all that though and instead focus on the positives… She is safe and alive She was able to go on a huge journey to a wonderful foundation called Soi Dog who worked on saving her leg. She is so cute that I’ve had over 100 people message me about giving her a forever home It costs a lot of money, time and effort to change Penny’s life. I’d say about 20 people have been involved. I try to keep the content around her positive and uplifting and focus on her turnaround and the people helping to change her life. Subtly I can educate around where she came from and the need to change that but people don’t want to see a video of her getting tortured. Ultimately like many of the dogs she is a story of hope and the innate goodness in the people who helped change her life. The Subtle Benefits Of Feeling Good When I started the videos I remember looking at social media and it was so depressing. Every post was about war in Ukraine, people arguing about politics, the cost of living crisis or Covid (2022). I suffer from depression and anxiety and I found that social media was just making it worse for me. I thought “Maybe there is room in there for something super positive about dogs”. Thats what I am trying to create. It is also worth remembering some huge added bonuses about the videos… They make the dogs feel good They make people watching feel good They make people around the world aware of street dogs They make myself and others feel good in person doing something practical on the ground as our days can be pretty tough at times. I’d imagine Jumbo forgot about his painful legs when we took him to 7-11 this week and Lady couldn’t believe her luck after such a horrific recent past on the streets. There are probably faster ways to save more dogs. Probably more efficient ways to use my time. I think about that all the time. I’m just trying to fix the problem of dog suffering globally and come at it from a whole new angle. Maybe I’m right and maybe I’m wrong but there is no perfect simple solution to this. I want to share the individual dog stories as every life maters. I want to highlight amazing organisations like Soi Dog and individuals like Sybille who need as much coverage as possible. I want people to look at their phones around the world and think “that makes me feel so happy and wholesome and real change is possible”. I want people who are down and suffering themselves to think “maybe there is some hope for me”. McMuffin, Penny and Tina are just a couple of dogs we all know and love but they will also help thousands of future dogs indirectly. They are the little dogs who will help the other voiceless ones. Have a lovely weekend everybody wherever you are Big Love Niall P.S You can always support by either donating here Or you can now hit Subscribe here on Twitter for a monthly donation which is brand new

12 months ago i was surviving on tuna cans in Dubai this was the disgusting 12m² apartment I got kicked out for unpaid rent today I'm making $62K+/month from AI & live wherever I want in September 2024, i paid $4,000 to flew to Dubai for Hassan Haider's mastermind thinking I'd network for 3 days and go home what happened next was the most unhinged year of my life on day 1 I had a Closer Cartel sales interview at 12 AM Dubai time while staying at Paramount Hotel 1 AM: went to the balcony and met two men in their 40s first time I'd ever talked to actual millionaires they had yachts, showed me pictures with Real Madrid footballers, chain smoking on the top floor bars until 4 AM as a naive kid fresh out of college, i was completely enchanted by these guys they gave me the "sell me this pen" test on the spot - i remember nailing it half drunk lmao they were impressed enough to spend hours with me, showing off their lifestyle, promising rolexes, talking about making me rich after ONE conversation with these strangers, my 21-year-old brain made the most impulsive decision of my life: abandoned my entire US setup to move to Dubai permanently and join them on their venture of 'commodity trading' i thought i'd found my ticket to the top i didn't even attend a single mastermind event I paid $4,000 originally for my parents lost their fucking minds the household was in complete chaos for months thought I was getting scammed by "retarded people" I'd just met the honeymoon phase in dubai lasted exactly 14 days. then reality hit... these "mentors" were complete amateurs one was an alcoholic who'd be supportive one day, then threaten me the next would threaten me over 200 dirhams ($50) convinced me to invest my entire $4,000 net worth in commodity trading told me he had CIA connections who'd "take me down" as a 21-year-old dependent on visa sponsorship, these threats felt like death sentences a year later, still haven't seen that money back spent months trying to broker copper cathode, crude oil, gold deals worth tens of thousands thinking I'd make $50K commissions that would solve everything none of the deals ever closed just endless paperwork leading nowhere we were all inexperienced amateurs pretending to be commodity traders the survival period was insane my relationship w/ the landlord broke down when I couldn't pay rent for 2-3 weeks, i survived on 1-2 cans of tuna daily lost 22 pounds, went from 67kg to 57kg all my credit cards were over limits, all debit accounts negative, rent in dallas was overdue literally "live or die trying" mentality for 3 days couldn't even go back to my place had to go to bars and pick up different women just to have somewhere to sleep one from Iran, one from Eastern Europe, third i don't remember meanwhile i'm still trying everyday to make cash - training people at the gym, doing random gigs for anything get money in yet funnily enough despite being financially broke, i somehow maintained access to exclusive social circles would be invited to private superyachts with 7 millionaires and 30-40 Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish supermodels private mansion parties in Marina Bay the contrast i'd see on a day by day was surreal: one day surviving on tuna cans, next day in the burj khalifa at 3am at a girls place overlooking the business bay, then 4 hours later, i'm in my shoebox room the entire experience in dubai definitely taught me more lessons about life than i ever would watching a podcast or reading a book i learnt that personal energy & charisma matter more than financial status if i could access the highest social circles while being completely broke, then what can i not do? meanwhile, I was working remotely for Ticketmaster with massive timezone conflicts - getting warnings for poor performance daily. I wasn't even showing up to team meetings because I'd fuck off to random establishments to connect with people and try to make something happen if I'd been fired, would've lost my visa status and been permanently unable to return to the US was literally playing with my entire future amidst all this chaos, i did end up making one or two really good friends however the only solace i'd get once in a while was going to the Dubai Mall for hotpot, just having normal fun conversations one of them actually worked for the CIA - he'd have the coolest & most surreal stories, we would often hit the gym together and finally, the turning point came in November 2024 at 2 AM when i discovered a video about AI chatbots with nothing to lose, i built my first chatbot that night started selling basic AI services on Upwork began making real money from AI systems and kept doubling down on it around the start of this year, i returned to the US when AI work generated consistent income and since then, its been only up so yeah there was a fair amount of loneliness during that stint complete uncertainty on a day by day basis. in flight or fight mode pretty much 24/7 constantly thinking where i'm going to get my next 10 AED from but exposing myself to all of that turmoil has definitely given me an edge in business, whether it comes to negotiation, deal-making, seeing through shit, leading people, putting people in their place, etc if you're also chasing any kind of goal/ mission just remember that its never truly over it only is when you convince yourself it is you can always rise from the ashes and have an epic comeback story to tell
