Urinary incontinence which means accidental urinary leakage is very very common in women, it’s easy to solve, yet so many suffer in silence ! It’s humiliating, scary, yet we prefer to live in shame than to discuss it ! Every woman who dares to speak on taboo health topics... emboldens other women to do so & normalizes these much needed conversations. Healthcare is my expertise & I have spoken about many taboo health topics on Shark Tank - infertility, menopause, periods, anxiety, dementia & here I speak about one of the most unspoken topics - urinary incontinence ! I’ve always believed that understanding my own body is important. I was discussing women’s health with Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, and we talked about how much fear can sometimes surround topics like HPV and cervical health. HPV is very common, and in many cases the body clears it naturally. Personally, I’ve chosen not to have certain routine tests like a Pap smear. Instead, I focus on listening to my body, supporting my health through lifestyle, nutrition, and paying attention to changes. This is simply my personal approach to health and how I think about these topics. Every person should research, ask questions, and make informed decisions about their own body. 🌿

I’ve had so many health conversations on this show and it’s almost at a point where I’m wondering if there’s much more that I’ve got to learn. I might get cancelled for this one - but it’s been on my mind. I want to meet women in tech who are building the tech - coders, engineers, developers. I am still kind of confused where we lost the plot with the term “tech” - and how it now basically means a startup, and not engineering. Tbh when i go to tech events, i want to meet people who can relate to my experiences. In the future, I’d love to see more distinction - maybe we start going as women in software instead? What do you think? Am i about to get so much hate? 😳🙈 aaaaaa

I recently went on This Morning to discuss the impact of menopause in the workplace, and actually this issue would be a lot less common if women were able to access the evidence based treatment they so often want. Fans, uniform changes and time off work aren’t going to address the underlying cause nor will they improve the function of our brains. We have recently uploaded an article to my balance menopause website about menopause and the law, which covers things like what responsibilities your employer has to look after your health and wellbeing, and tips on what to do if your boss isn’t being supportive. I’m just going to keep going with my gut and researching on my own. People have tried to explain so many things away in the past so please excuse me if I chose to not believe it. Especially if the government says it. There are too many coincidences which means there’s more here than meets the eye. Yall no my motto for the hour a day yall watch me let’s forget about reality and the bs we have going on in our life and let’s make life a joke! Good morning! I know I’m usually the goofy guy, but I want to get serious for a second because the month of May is very important to me. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which is a cause that means the world to me. A couple years ago I went on Sia Nejad show and talked about my struggle with mental health, and it’s still the most important show I’ve ever done. Like many of us, I struggled with depression, suicidal thoughts, and more. I am incredibly grateful, and a little bit lucky to still be here. I also am incredibly lucky to have a platform that allows me to share important messages like this. Everyone in your life, and I mean everyone is fighting battles you know nothing about. It’s easy to put a smile on, but you never know what’s behind that smile. Be kind to each other. Be kind to strangers. Check in on your friends no matter how good you think they’re doing. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. You are not alone, no matter how much it may feel like it at times. We’ve got one life and we’re in this together 💪 Love ya gang! Thank you for being you!

Recently I delivered a talk to 250 healthcare professionals who work in mental health teams to highlight the role of our hormones in relation to our mental health. As you’ll hear in this clip, we have oestrogen and testosterone receptors all over our bodies and in our brain as well. Each area of the brain plays a role in the way we think, the way we move and the way we act, and so when our hormone levels reduce, many women will experience psychological symptoms too. It’s really important that our hormones are considered when women are struggling with their mental health, so receiving this feedback from the consultant psychiatrist who organised the event is really good to see: “I must say I think we will all consider the menopause much more in our clinical practice after yesterday, I am keen to see if we can get some agreement or guidance around this and how we can potentially advise GP colleagues to consider HRT treatment if they have not done so already. I certainly will be suggesting it in my practice.” Thank you to Kehinde for organising the event with Nottinghamshire Healthcare Nottinghamshire Healthcare Medical Education . Hopefully we will see an improvement in mental health support for perimenopausal and menopausal women as a result.

Doctors are incredibly busy, there is no work life balance. Yet they make the time to educate on health & bust myths. Dr Jaydeep Tank (prior FOGSI President) & Dr Jay Mehta are 2 such doctors. Both have roaring practices, travel across the country & globally very often & yet they did my health podcast on vaginal vs C section birth. Dr Jay Mehta was born at Dr Tanks nursing home ! The easy banter & vibe between 3 of us makes this complex topic so fun. The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is the only thing on my mind today. It’s all I can think about. I have so, so much FOMO over the opening last night & seeing so many lifelong heroes take photos together. It’s inspiring as hell to see Lucas devote his life to storytelling & improving humanity. It honestly makes me question the things I do on a daily basis. It’s one of those things that reminds you that there’s more to life than just work. I can’t wait to visit this museum in a few weeks.
