U.S. Army Captain Ronan Sefton was charged with providing basic training to over 8,000 Ukrainian soldiers shortly after Russia launched its invasion in 2022. Hello, 60 Minutes. My name is Bradley Crawford. I have been inside Ukraine for the past four years, working directly on the ground and personally training more than 5,000 Ukrainian soldiers. I wanted to clarify something in your recent story. The captain you referenced did not personally train 8,000 soldiers. He was responsible for organizing and overseeing the training effort. That is an important distinction, and it matters when presenting accurate information to the public. There are many American volunteers currently inside Ukraine working side by side with Ukrainian forces, actively training soldiers in real conditions. The perspective from those of us on the ground is very different from what is often presented through official channels. If you are looking to tell a complete and accurate story about training Ukrainian soldiers, I would strongly encourage you to speak with individuals who are actively involved in that mission inside Ukraine. You will get a clearer picture without the influence of public affairs messaging or external narratives. I respect the work being done in Germany and the efforts of those supporting Ukraine abroad. This is not a criticism of their contribution, but rather a call for a more accurate and balanced representation of what is actually happening. If you would like firsthand insight, I am available to speak at any time via direct message here on X. Thank you for your time.

The US should show some gratitude to Ukraine and actually fulfil their promise in the Budapest Memorandum. It's shameful how they're treating Ukraine.

Ukraine has a long history of engineering expertise. Their ability to quickly adapt to modern warfare saved them in 2022. Today, their military expertise is widely sought after. Lots of lessons here. Interesting to note we gave them old, outdated weapons that barely worked.

Ukraine was the Silicon Valley during the Soviet Union. It was Ukrainian engineers who built the best weapons.

ukraine is literally the only country in the world that knows how to innovate and succeed in a modern war. it's unbelievable how poorly the united states treats ukraine when it's among our most vital security partnerships

Any person watching Ukraine war videos on X could have figured that out 3 years ago.

As much money as America gave to Ukraine, I'd think all this technology actually belongs to the US.

Weaponized Drones + AI seems more dangerous than nukes Basically commodities that can take down $100m jet fighters & wreck other havoc at a massive scale very quickly Hopefully high efficiency anti-drone tech maintains pace

V. good report, but “Ukraine’s scrappy fighting force” is a sorry stereotype to recite for effect. Ukraine has a million combat veterans of modern peer-to-peer war, holding back Russia on a 2,000-km front, conducting 1,800-km deep strikes, and having defeated the Black Sea Fleet.

They learned how to be completely paralyzed by the Cauldron tactic for the last 3 years.

@ItsTheEnforcer Criminally charged? Wording not clear. Maybe you mean tasked?

@walter_report Funny thing is: they did not learn. No counter-drone for cheap Shahed drones fron the mullahs.

Ah yes, trench warfare what a novel idea I'm sure we can learn much from Ukraine who can't even push out Russia after the world gave them 360 billion. We too can give away our land slowly by learning from Ukraine. Morons

He trained Neo Nazi terrrorist organizations.

Thank you 🇺🇸💙🇺🇦

Unfortunately Trump hates Zelensky. He can’t get over him not throwing Biden under the bus for him. That, and for some reason, he always seems willing to give Putin a pass?

@ItsTheEnforcer More drones? Ukraine says it is producing more than a million per year, AND is selling the surplus on the open market.

Makes sense. The US was battle tested most recently in a different time. Things have dramatically changed. Ukraine has been fighting today’s warfare. Now the US is going up against Iran who has adopted more of today’s warfare tactics. Smaller powers have to adapt quicker.

Thanks for reminding everyone that we train finance and give intel to Ukraine to fight Russia So when Russia is doing the same with Iran don’t even be surprised

you really mean the guy was in charge with providing basic training.

Should’ve used the word “tasked” in place of “charged”. Saying he “was charged” sounds like he got in trouble.

Morons. Typical retarded news saying the dumbest shit.

@maksymeristavi Glad he took the interview seriously and put on his nicest set of camouflage pajamas for it

In 2022, Ukraine didn’t have drones.

drones drones and more drones with smaller drones and swarms

‼️💯‼️@RheinmetallAG

@hoje_no

there not ready for the drones🙄

How many deserted

The first really poignant lessons for us was: there needs to be more gold toilets!

usa too ignorant

Selkee.

@raymondhsimmons Sending your troops into a dangerous situation with little to no defense

"Charged with" has been mistranslated on X in Japan, and it has become interesting.
