TikTok's algorithm caters to your preferences, so if you engage with low-quality content, that's what you'll see more of. Americans often use their so-called freedom to produce garbage content. So, don't blame China for the content that Americans choose to create and consume.🧐

It was an honor to host China Select Committee Chairman Rep. John Moolenaar for the Heritage Foundation BC Lee lecture this week. He is leading pushback against the CCP in Congress. In this clip, I use moderator's privilege to discuss China chip controls. Full event:

I’ve never seen the CCP this scared before. Protests are only getting worse in China and the CCP is starting to panic.

Apparently Douyin just allowed Vietnamese users to register Douyin with Vietnamese phone number and Vietnamese passport. Now Vietnamese users can livestream and make money on Douyin without restrictions. I wonder if China is experimenting with opening Douyin to foreigners starting with neighboring countries or is this just due to some special arrangement with Vietnam only

Interview of Victor Gao, vice president of the Beijing-based Center for China and Globalization (CCG). Q: China will lose the US market. A: We don't care. China has been here for 5,000 years, most of the time there was no US and we survived. If the US wants to bully China, we will deal with the situation without the US. And we expect to survive another 5,000 years. Here’s the truth: China has a civilization over 5,000 years old—but the CCP was only founded in 1921, born from a radical Western ideology known as Communism. The CCP is not Chinese. The CCP is not China. China will endure. The CCP must be defeated.

On Chinese Douyin(TikTok) you can still stumble across the truth. How is the global non-US version of TikTok? Has the US TikTok censorship regime have had any effects on your content feed?

I am concerned about the Chinese Communist Party using TikTok to push propaganda and content that will harm our kids. In China, TikTok has a comparable product that promotes educational videos on math & science to kids. In America, they're promoting videos on eating Tide Pods.

China has been abusing our birthright citizenship laws, buying up US farmland, homes, and businesses for over a decade. Millions of CCP nationals could be voting in our elections soon. President Trump is fighting back against the CCP, but he needs reinforcements in Congress.
