In 2014, Uppal’s brother, Raymenpreet Singh Uppal, was arrested in a dial-a-dope operation by Edmonton police, but the charges were later dropped. In 2026, Jasraj Singh Hallan 🇨🇦 quietly visited Punjab and met with Sukhpal Singh Khaira at his residence, who is currently out on bail while facing criminal proceedings, including a drug case under the NDPS Act, money-laundering charges, and a criminal intimidation case. We see all the time some 20-year-old Singh “international student” from Punjab, brought here through policies spearheaded by Tim Uppal, getting busted with millions of dollars’ worth of fentanyl, but we never see the real drug kingpins with bigger turbans.
