U.S. Forces Disable Cargo Vessel Attempting to Violate Blockade TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces disabled a commercial cargo vessel in the Gulf of Oman, Oct. 10, after the ship’s crew ignored repeated warnings and attempted to run the ongoing naval blockade against Iran. A U.S. military... fighter jet struck the stern of Panama-flagged M/V Ocean Molica (also known as the “Arika Sun”) with a precision munition, fully disabling the ship’s propulsion without harming the crew. The large cargo vessel was attempting to transit regional waters after having previously departed an Iranian port. CENTCOM forces resumed America’s blockade against all ships entering or departing Iranian ports on July 14. Four commercial vessels have been disabled and 135 ships have been turned around during three months of strict enforcement. Additionally, U.S. forces have destroyed 10 tankers linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' multibillion-dollar shadow network over the same period. All mariners are advised to heed blockade warnings from CENTCOM forces. Crews should also continue to monitor Notice to Mariners broadcasts and contact U.S. naval forces on bridge-to-bridge channel 16 when operating in the Gulf of Oman and Strait of Hormuz approaches.show more

BREAKING: U.S. forces disabled an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman overnight after it allegedly violated the naval blockade against Iran. CENTCOM says the Guinea-Bissau flagged tanker M/T Jalveer was attempting to transport Iranian oil through the Gulf of Oman when U.S. aircraft fired two Hellfire missiles into the ship’s engine room after the crew repeatedly failed to comply with instructions. 🚨 JUST NOW: CENTCOM confirms IRAN LIED, the fake news LIED — American forces have turned away 29 VESSELS as part of President Trump's blockade All those reports that ships successfully violated the blockade were WRONG. 🔥 CENTCOM: "Over past 24 hours, media reports have alleged that several commercial ships evaded the blockade, citing M/V Hero II, M/V Hedy, and M/V Dorena as examples. These reports are inaccurate." "Hero II and Hedy did not sail past the blockade as part of a flotilla that “ferried” millions of barrels of oil to the market. In fact, the Iranian-flagged tankers are anchored in Chah Bahar, Iran, after being intercepted by U.S. forces earlier this week." "Dorena has been under the escort of a U.S. Navy destroyer in the Indian Ocean after previously attempting to violate the blockade." "The U.S. military has global reach. American forces are operating and enforcing the blockade across the Middle East and beyond."

The United States will begin implementing a blockade of Iranian ports on April 13. In doing so, the US aims to prevent Iran from collecting fees from shipping companies for passage through the Strait of Hormuz and to deprive it of revenue from oil sales. US Central Command forces will begin enforcing a blockade on all ships entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas at 10 AM ET. The blockade will apply to vessels from all nations and affect all Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. However, CENTCOM has stated that it will not impede freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian Navy commander Shahram Irani called President Trump's statements "ridiculous and funny."

Over the past few hours, Iranian state media have continued to report false claims by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) – three in particular. 🚫 FIRST CLAIM: The IRGC (again) claims free and open routes through the Strait of Hormuz are dangerous for commercial vessels. ✅ FACT: The immediate dangers posed to commercial vessels and their civilian crews are the IRGC’s verbal threats and attempted attacks. 🚫 SECOND CLAIM: The IRGC claims Three U.S. F-35 stealth fighters and three other aircraft were destroyed during a recent Iranian attack on an American air base. ✅ FACT: No U.S. aircraft were destroyed or damaged in recent attempted Iranian attacks. All missiles and drones were intercepted or failed to reach targeted areas. 🚫 THIRD CLAIM: Iranian state media is reporting that a commercial oil tanker, M/T Nora, has broken through the U.S. blockade. ✅ FACT: The commercial vessel has not broken through America’s steel wall blockade. More than 20 U.S. warships, hundreds of aircraft, and thousands of service members remain vigilant and continue to fully enforce the blockade.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM): “U.S. forces repelled provocative attacks by Iran and conducted defensive strikes after Iranian forces targeted American warships transiting the Strait of Hormuz on May 7 toward the Gulf of Oman. Iranian forces used multiple missiles, drones, and small fast boats against the USS Truxtun (DDG 103), USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115), and USS Mason (DDG 87) while they were moving through an international maritime corridor. None of the U.S. vessels were damaged. CENTCOM destroyed the incoming threats and struck Iranian military targets responsible for the attack, including missile and drone launch sites, command and control centers, as well as intelligence and surveillance nodes. CENTCOM does not seek escalation, but remains ready to defend U.S. forces.” Video is generated by grok AI

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran just released footage claiming to show IRGC forces targeting a U.S. Navy vessel in the Strait of Hormuz today. Tehran says 2 missiles hit a U.S. frigate near Jask after it ignored warnings. Iranian state media says the ship "retreated and fled." CENTCOM's response: "No U.S. Navy ships have been struck." Oh, and the U.S. Navy currently has zero active frigates in service.
