On October 7th, 1985, the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked by four members of the Palestine Liberation Front off the coast of Alexandria, Egypt. They demanded the release of 50 Palestinians imprisoned in Israel and specifically threatened to kill the U.S. and British passengers if their demands were not met. The terrorists diverted the ship towards Syria, killing 69 year old Leon Klinghoffer, an American citizen in his wheelchair, on October 8th when they were denied permission to anchor in Syrian waters. Through negotiations, the ship docked in Port Said, Egypt where they surrendered to Egyptian authorities on October 9th. The following day, as part of the negotiated settlement between Egypt and “PLO representative” Abu Abbas, the hijackers boarded an Egypt Air flight to Tunisia. That same day, President Ronald Reagan ordered F-14s from the USS Saratoga to force the Egypt Air flight down at a NATO airbase in Sigonella, Sicily where the terrorists were eventually arrested by the Italians. Also onboard were Abu Abbas and Egyptian diplomat Zeid Imad Hamed. It is rumored that an east coast based SEAL Team was prepared to board the Achille Lauro and were also on the ground in Italy surrounding the plane after it was forced down. I have it on good authority that those operators involved wanted nothing more than to put a more final end to the incident. Instead, in July 1986, an Italian court sentenced the hijackers to prison sentences ranging from 15 to 30 years. Muhammad Zaidan, more commonly referred to as Abu Abbas, and widely believed to have planned the hijacking, was quietly moved from Italy to Rome where he boarded a flight to Yugoslavia, landing there on October 12th. From there he flew to Yemen and ultimately to Baghdad where Saddam Hussain provided him sanctuary for his in absentia Italian sentencing of life imprisonment. He remained wanted by the U.S. for terrorism, piracy, and murder for the next eighteen years. Then, on April 14th 2003, he was captured by U.S. special operations forces in Baghdad. In March of 2004, while still in custody, he died of natural causes.

Netanyahu: Aid Resumed to Avoid International Pressure and Finish (Genocidal) War Plan 1. In an interview on Monday, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu openly admitted that limited humanitarian aid to Gaza was restored only to prevent international backlash. “We must not reach a state of famine,” he said, “neither from a practical standpoint nor from a political standpoint… Our best friends in the world… won’t be able to support us” if images of starvation spread. ▪️He warned that Israel is “rapidly approaching the red line, a situation where we could lose control, and then everything falls apart.” U.S. senators, he said, told him: “We are giving you all the aid to complete the victory—weapons, support for your operations to eliminate Hamas, defense at the Security Council… [but] we cannot accept images of starvation, mass starvation… we won’t be able to support you.” ▪️“To achieve victory,” Netanyahu said, “we must somehow solve this problem.” Until new systems are in place, Israel will allow “some bridging solution… a minimal, basic one, so there is no famine.” ▪️The plan, he explained, is to set up aid distribution points controlled by the Israeli military and staffed by U.S. private companies—ensuring that anyone Israel believes is Hamas or Hamas-affiliated “gets nothing.” ▪️”Eventually, to reach a situation where we have an area entirely controlled by the IDF, and the entire civilian population of Gaza can go there and receive aid…” ▪️Netanyahu cast this not as a concession, but as part of a broader war strategy. “We are going to win, and we are going to achieve absolute victory.” ▪️Pressed on whether Israel’s military campaign is stagnating, Netanyahu bristled. “What are you talking about?” he said. “We have immense fighting… we are going to take control of all areas of the Strip.” ▪️He repeatedly tied Hamas’s defeat to captives release, calling the two goals “intertwined” and only achievable through continued military pressure paired with tightly controlled humanitarian optics. ➤ Drop Site’s jeremy scahill breaks down Netanyahu’s remarks and the broader strategy behind Israel’s aid scheme in his latest report: “Gaza Aid Scheme Offers Israel Symbolic Cover to Finish the Genocide.” Link in reply.

🚨🇺🇸🇻🇪 INSIDE THE CAPTURE THAT COULD SET THE NEW GEOPOLITICAL AGE IN MOTION Max Blumenthal says the Trump-led operation that captured Maduro was geopolitical theater engineered to shock. No resistance. No casualties. Russian-made S-300 and BUK air defenses were disabled before they could respond. Max argues this was a negotiated decapitation, possibly coordinated from within the Venezuelan state, that left Maduro’s regime intact under Delcy Rodríguez, removing Maduro as an obstacle and transforming him into fodder for war optics. Trump sidelined María Corina Machado within hours, a clear signal, Max says, that this was never about restoring democracy, but about reasserting U.S. leverage through the very system America once tried to topple. With Chinese envoys meeting Maduro hours before he was captured, the timing sent a global message: in this emerging multipolar order, the U.S. will still dictate outcomes, and use force to do it. I sit down with Max Blumenthal to break down how the raid was executed, what it signals to Beijing and Moscow, and why multipolarity may be triggering even bolder U.S. intervention. 03:58 - “Trump and Rubio wanted a negotiated exit of Maduro that would leave the Chavista structure in place.” 05:42 - “If one helicopter had been taken down, Blackhawk Down style, it would have been a political catastrophe for Trump.” 06:48 - “This raises questions about whether they were left out there on their own, and that much of this was choreographed.” 07:26 - “Trump wanted a PR victory, a Rambo style reenactment of the Panama invasion.” 10:02 - “By not aggressively resisting a U.S. invasion, you’re sparing the country from more horrific U.S. violence.” 13:18 - “Delcy Rodríguez does not have the guns behind her. Figures like Diosdado Cabello do.” 18:41 - “Venezuela was being subjected to international piracy by the most powerful empire in human history.” 21:32 - “Venezuela’s largest foreign asset in Citgo was literally stolen by the U.S.” 29:22 - “Trump is essentially threatening Delcy Rodríguez with her life.” 33:59 - “Trump owes a lot to his donors, and he has a lot to gain personally from Venezuela.” 34:48 - “The goal is to plunder Venezuela’s wealth and exploit its resources.” 35:27 - “They want a more pliable figure who will give up control of Venezuela’s oil.” 43:28 - “If a leader is imposed to let U.S. corporations plunder the country, there will be resistance.” 55:03 - “What we are seeing is classic U.S. gunboat diplomacy, not Putinization.”

🇺🇸🇻🇪 "TRUMP IS STARTING A WAR THAT WILL BACKFIRE - AGAINST AN ENEMY THE CIA HELPED CREATE" The Grayzone’s founder Max Blumenthal has spent years covering U.S. regime changes in Latin America, and has interviewed leaders including Maduro. Not many know the region’s history like he does. Max explains how the “Cartel of the Suns,” now sanctioned and used to justify strikes on Venezuela, was invented in the 1980s by U.S. intelligence. The CIA and DEA used Venezuela as a cocaine corridor, letting drugs “walk” through the U.S. in a covert effort to map trafficking networks. That operation, launched during the Reagan years, helped seed the narco-state narrative later used against Hugo Chávez, and now, against Maduro. What began as a secret drug route became a political weapon: branding Venezuela as a cartel state to justify sanctions, asset seizures, and military buildup. We get into: • How the “Cartel of the Suns” narrative rebrands regime change as drug enforcement. • Why U.S.-backed coups in 2002 and 2019 failed, and what’s changed. • Why most Venezuelans, even those against Maduro, oppose U.S. sanctions. • How CIA-linked drug routes are connected to today’s covert operations. • Why regime change could spark a civil war and mass migration. • The role of Miami’s anti-socialist bloc in shaping Washington’s Latin America policy. • Why Trump’s pressure campaign may end in a deal, not a war. The U.S. is still using its '80s playbook. Max Blumenthal believes the results will be inevitably disastrous. 00:49 - U.S. suddenly begins accusing Maduro of drug trafficking 01:29 - “Cartel of the Suns” becomes the narrative to justify escalation 02:37 - U.S. intelligence once enabled Venezuelan drug flow for covert ops 03:41 - Those ops increased, not reduced, cocaine flooding U.S. streets 04:08 - Venezuela is minor in global cocaine supply chain 11:53 - Maduro refused to arrest Guaidó - denying the U.S. a propaganda win 15:40 - Military loyalty to Chávez and Maduro crushed coup attempts 22:45 – Threats of invasion trigger “rally around the flag” effect 24:57 - Most Venezuelans - even opposition - reject sanctions 29:49 - U.S. allies like Ecuador are deeper in drug trade than Venezuela 35:54 - Full U.S. invasion would mean civil war and political blowback 36:15 - Over 70% of Americans oppose war with Venezuela 43:58 - Regime change would spike U.S. gas prices 57:36 - Foreign policy decisions bypass U.S. voters 58:37 – American public now leans toward diplomacy, not intervention

🚨 EMERGENCY POD: Why Should We Care About the Shocking Chinese Ship Collision at Scarborough Shoal? In this special episode, we dive into the dramatic South China Sea incident this week near Scarborough Shoal. Fresh from Manila, Ray Powell takes the "guest" seat to unpack the events with co-host Jim Carouso. The discussion highlights the escalating 🇨🇳China-🇵🇭Philippines tensions, with its implications for regional stability and 🇺🇸US alliances. Our hosts describe how a Chinese destroyer slammed into a China Coast Guard vessel while pursuing the much smaller Philippine Coast Guard ship BRP Suluan near Scarborough Shoal on August 11, 2025. The collision crumpled the Coast Guard ship's bow and likely caused casualties. Ray notes the Suluan got within 10.5 nautical miles of the shoal, closer than any Philippine vessel in over a year, which challenged China's undeclared exclusion zone around the contested feature in a way that drew an unexpected military response. Providing context, Ray traces the shoal's history: China's 2012 seizure, the 2016 arbitral ruling affirming traditional fishing rights for all nations (including the Philippines), and recent escalations. Since spring 2024, China has enforced a 25-30 nautical mile exclusion zone, blocking Philippine government vessels and fishermen alike in defiance of the arbitral award. The Philippines’ “Kadiwa” mission involved five vessels to provide direct aid to fishermen now forced to operate in exposed waters due to China's denial of the shoal. The hosts analyze the game-changer: the People's Liberation Army-Navy (PLAN) destroyer's direct involvement. This military escalation risked crossing red lines, like President Marcos's 2024 Shangri-La Dialogue statement that a Filipino sailor's death could invoke the US-Philippines Mutual Defense Treaty. Ray speculates the destroyer aimed to intimidate (not ram) the Philippine ship, but that a misjudgement in the other direction could have resulted in a catastrophe in the diplomatic, as well as the maritime, sense. Broader implications emerge: Ray evaluates China's increased presence amid new laws allowing 60-day detentions and new straight-baseline claims around the shoal. Jim and Ray try to separate how this incident relates to Beijing’s direct confrontation with Manila versus its indirect contest with the Philippines’ ally, the United States. Jim and Ray discuss other dramatic events around Scarborough Shoal this week: a Philippine Coast Guard aircraft faced Chinese fighter jet harassment, and the U.S. Navy conducted its own freedom of navigation operation (FONOP). They also ponder tactical coordination failures between China's navy and coast guard; discuss how Beijing’s lionization of the fighter pilot who died during the 2001 EP-3 incident may inspire recklessness; and what it all may mean for a future Taiwan contingency. Wrapping up, they urge reflection on abyss-peering scenarios: What if the collision had sunk the Philippine ship or killed Filipinos? It could trigger a diplomatic crisis and White House treaty decisions, testing US deterrence. For Filipinos, all this took place near an extremely important fishing ground within the Philippines’ exclusive economic zone. A potential silver lining? The mishap exposes China's vulnerabilities, and could deter future rash actions–but only if Beijing learns the right lessons. Its recent history, its state media’s unwillingness to even acknowledge the mishap, and its blame-shifting suggest it may elect a more confrontational path. 👉 Links to the full episode in the comments below.

🚨🇻🇪🇺🇦 EX-PENTAGON ADVISOR WARNS: VENEZUELA IS A TRAP AND NATO IS BLUFFING U.S. Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor doesn't hold back on where U.S. foreign policy is heading and why it could backfire spectacularly. On Venezuela, he's blunt: America has built up massive military power in the Caribbean but hasn't answered the basic questions that doomed Vietnam. What's the actual objective? How do you achieve it? What does the region look like when you're done? He reveals Washington may want to "collateralize" Venezuela's natural resources to the tune of $8-19 trillion to pay down U.S. debt. The problem? Venezuela is the size of France, Germany, and Austria combined with brutal terrain and 30 million people. Regime change failed repeatedly under Chavez and Maduro. Military power alone won't work. His assessment of NATO is withering. European leaders like Scholz, Macron, and Starmer are "on thin ice" trying to manufacture fear of Russia while their populations want restored relations and cheap energy. An ex-Pentagon advisor bringing uncomfortable clarity to two conflicts spiraling in opposite directions. Macgregor breaks down: • Why the U.S. has assembled overwhelming force in the Caribbean but can't answer what happens after Maduro is removed • Whether seizing Venezuela's oil, gas, gold, lithium, and rare earths is worth a protracted occupation • Why killing Maduro just gets you another Maduro • How Russia will take Odesa within 6 months and control Ukraine's Black Sea access • Why Trump's peace plan won't work unless it addresses Russian control of the coast • Why NATO's "preemptive strike" threats are desperate theater from failing European leaders • How Europe's "tiny boutique armies" would collapse against Russia's rebuilt military power • Why money spent doesn't equal military capability and it takes 10 years to build real armies 01:28 – Military buildup in the Caribbean makes US retreat difficult 03:49 – US goal has been regime change since Hugo Chávez 04:26 – The “dumb path” of killing Maduro with no plan after 07:31 – Is the real objective resources or blocking China’s influence 08:08 – US idea to collateralize Venezuela’s resources to cut debt 10:08 – Host calls invading to reduce debt a terrifying scenario 11:38 – Any intervention would trigger Venezuelan national pride 13:18 – US action could be the death knell of American influence 14:35 – Monroe Doctrine described as irrelevant today 16:58 – Why Maduro’s oil offer wasn’t enough for Washington 18:49 – Likelihood of airstrikes on air defenses and radar sites 20:47 – Coup success depends on removing Maduro and bribing generals 25:34 – Claim that Odesa is Russian and its fall would landlock Ukraine 27:19 – Prediction that Russia will seize Kharkov and Odesa 30:51 – Russia’s hybrid warfare against NATO: GPS jamming, derailments 34:03 – NATO has “tiny boutique armies” and needs a decade to rebuild

JUST ONE DAY after the tragic National Guardsmen shooting, RADICAL GROUPS in Dearborn, Michigan, is already calling for a REVOLUTION in AMERICA. If you live in America and are NOT here to contribute in a positive way and live in harmony with Western civilization, you need to GTFO. We have enough problems here as it is and do NOT need a whole new group of people, with a whole new group of problems who want to change America into where they just fled from. You must understand that this entire situation, to flood the U.S. and other countries were entirely engineered to destroy and take over multiple countries. Look at the U.K... Completely occupied and no 2A. The U.S. will fall if we don't end thIs NOW. There are also multiple players, groups, agencies, organizations, etc., who are all involved, and George Soros is one of them who has helped millions of refugees enter countries to collapse their societies, even mastercard teamed up with Soros who has spent BILLIONS aiding migrants into America and Europe. George Soros is linked through the World Relief organization and the Evangelical Churches through USAID and other NGOs like his Open Society Foundation. The National Guardsmen shooter was brought in by the Biden administration and settled from Afghanistan to Washington State by an NGO linked through Soros. Since he did have intelligence ties to the CIA, there is no confirmation yet that this was an inside job or could have been connected to radicalism. Either way, it doesn't matter. Because if he wasn't here, this would have never happened. The terror attacks on the guardsmen yesterday are a perfect example of the outcome of what aiding these foreigners who do NOT mix with Western values, ideas, and ways of life. They want to take over and destroy us because their religion says so. There is nothing wrong with good people from foreign countries going through the proper procedures to become a U.S. citizen and contribute in a positive manner and aren't here to murder, rape, steal, or start revolutions. We have enough to worry about within our own country and our own people, and we don't need others who don't want to adapt to Western civilization. They want to destroy it. Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to call your representatives and demand that they send ALL of them back before it's too late.

TRUMP JUST TOOK BACK POWER TO FIRE THE DEEP STATE! Everyone is talking about birthright citizenship. They are sleeping on the real earthquake. Trump v. Slaughter just restored a president's power to fire corrupt bureaucrats at will. That power sat locked away since 1935. Nine decades of unelected agency hacks hiding behind job protection that no other executive employee in America enjoys. Trump called it himself. "That was one that was going on for almost 100 years where they took power away from FDR." Presidents have tried to get it back for generations. He just did it. Six to three. Think about what that actually means. The deep state was never really about secret tunnels or black budgets. It was tenure. It was bureaucrats who knew you could not fire them no matter how badly they sabotaged the agenda you were elected to run. That shield is gone! The FTC, and every alphabet agency like it, now answers to the man voters actually put in the White House. Not to itself. A rudder finally got reattached to the ship. Yes, the birthright ruling stung. Trump said so plainly, calling it disappointing and ridiculous, and noting America is the only country still doing it this way. But he also revealed the real path forward. No constitutional amendment required. Congress can fix it by statute. Which is why the SAVE America Act and ending birthright tourism both run through the same door: the Senate filibuster. Trump laid it out cold. "You could do everything if you got rid of the filibuster." Election integrity. Birthright reform. Kate's Law. Forty things nobody has even proposed yet. A handful of Republicans are standing in the way. Trump named names. Murkowski. Collins. Tillis. Cornyn gets partial credit. Democrats will nuke the filibuster the first hour they get power back. Everyone in Washington knows it. Only Republicans keep pretending otherwise. Slaughter was not a side story this term. It was the story. The power to run the executive branch just came home to the
