BREAKING: Fort Hood in Texas has just officially been renamed to Fort Cavazos. Fort Hood was named after General John Bell Hood who was a Confederate general during the Civil War. Fort Cavazos is named after General Richard Cavazos, the first American Hispanic four-star general, and first Mexican-American to reach the rank of brigadier general in the US Army. Congratulations to the late Richard E. Cavazos’ family. They should be proud. What are you thoughts on renaming forts that have been named after Confederate generals? Do you support this move?
